I have tried the chicken thigh and beef kababs, tabbouleh, falafel babaganoush and hummus and I think the babaganoush is particularly outstanding. The service was pretty standard, nothing particularly outstanding just your normal "as expected" good service. Staff is helpful and willing to answer questions. The do not sell the entrees as a side meaning if you want an extra kabab, they won't sell it to you individually, you would have to order a whole other plate. Think they need to reconsider this. I personally do not fully understand this. The ambiance gives local spot. Seems like many regulars are here from the way it vibes when you enter which is neither good or bad for me, it just what it is. The bathroom is clean and doesn't smell which is remarkable I suppose. Parking is a bit more difficult since they are in a strip mall that's maybe a bit smaller than most but that's not on them. It is what it is. At least its free.“

What's interesting is when you're driving down the street, there are so many kabob places and we chose this one based on some reviews that we saw and the fact that it look like a mom and pop shop and it was! So decided to look up a few places and while driving, I saw this at the corner and this place had been on my bookmarks for a while and decided to give this a go instead. Since it's downtown and midday parking is horrendous, but since they're located near an alley, homegirl parked on the red and came in to do a to go order. Walked up to a kiosk and ordered 2 chicken shawarma, one with hummus and the other with mixed greens. ( Summer is coming around the corner, so gotta make sure we're staying within the macros.) I really did enjoy my plate, the wrap was packed with protein which I enjoyed. Usually a lot of places are skimpy with their protein portions, but the chicken was tender and full of flavor. It was also very refreshing as there was tabuleh and pickles. I like the little banana peppers addition to the salad, I just ate them with the shawarma instead. The hot sauce is creamy, pretty mild, but got the job done. PS Would you guys make a halal hot sauce? Just asking because some people like me would like our insides to burn. Lol. Would be coming back just to try their plate .“

“This is a great lil joint hiding away in a not often traveled part of DTLA. It’s a small and cozy spot but the food they cook up is delicious and very good portion sizes. Nothing is crazy overpriced and the flavors of everything are spot on. We got the beef and chicken lule combo and lamb chop combo and loved it all. The char and flavor of the chops and lule was amazing. Plus the rice that comes with it was cooked perfect and I love that it comes with a sumac seasoning to add. “The team here is great. I had the pleasure of hosting a party here in December, they allowed me to book the entire place for the night with full service and entertainment. The owners treat you like family and make sure you have the best experience. Their pricing is also so fair, it's hard to believe how good it is. Hummus & Babaghannouj were very good, but we had to order another Hummus because the quantity is a bit thin. Price per person can be anywhere from $20 to $50 depending on how much you want to eat, but I think $25 is a port good standard portion.Vegetarian options: Middle Eastern food has a lot of vegetarian options like Tabbouleh, Fattoush, Hummus, Mutabbal, Falafel, fries, Krdiyeh Cheese beureg etc.Parking: There was parking when we went.“
