“Amazing and well seasoned food. Comes out piping hot. It’s a small-to-medium sized restaurant with fast turnover. We had the luleh kobab and lamb kobab, which were both delicious. The bread is fresh and homemade.

The servers work extremely hard, but because of volume are not extremely attentive to any one table. They will take your order fast, but you have to have patience to get the bill.“

“Came to Carousel with a party of 9. Our table was waiting on arrival and the staff was fantastic especially given our time constraints. We let them know we had to be out the door in 90 minutes for a show and they ensured we were fed a feast with time to spare. We did the family style - Hollywood Feast which was a lot of fun. The Hollywood Feast will leave you with days of leftovers which we are now enjoying. Would recommend family style for large groups. I've never been anywhere in Los Angeles that had better kofta, their pita hummus and falafel are also excellent.

They also do really good catering and take out.“

In fact, It is a good restaurant (5 Star) with excellent, well made, good ambiance, and delicious food and a vast array of dishes on the menu. “We tried the beef tongue sandwich with crushed green olive, and it was fantastic. The beef tongue was tender and flavorful, and the crushed green olives added a really nice fresh, slightly briny touch that made the sandwich feel unique and well balanced. Every bite tasted fresh and satisfying.

“The perfect meal to break my daily intermittent keto fast. I eat the salad bowls, sub grilled veg for the hummus and I'm relatively carb free. Carbs from the plants but no processed or concentrated carbs from sugar, seeds or beans. Fresh flavorful ingredients, rich flavors and very satisfying. Nice self serve sauce bar with seasoned yogurt, a dill ranch and good hot sauce similar to a mild harissa. Fills me up, satisfies me and then start the timer on the next 24 hrs.“
