“I visited AVI CUE recently and was genuinely impressed by everything — from the food to the atmosphere and service. I tried the Wagyu Shawarma Sandwich, and it was next-level delicious. The beef was incredibly tender, perfectly spiced, and paired beautifully with the fresh veggies, tahini, and amba sauce in a soft, warm pita. It’s rich, flavorful, and absolutely worth the hype.“

“EXCELLENT experience!!! We went here for my birthday dinner and not only was the food delicious and fresh, but the service was INCREDIBLE. We ordered one small drink, the burrata, meatballs, and tagliatelle, and our waitress (Kristin?) also brought us a comped cauliflower just because she wanted us to try her favorite thing. I forgot names, so sorry, but we interacted with a hostess, our main waitress, and another girl who were all so sweet and kind. They also ended up bringing us out an extra penne dish (not pictured). My daughter ordered the seasonal sorbet (peach-blood orange), and then they also brought me out a scoop of housemade vanilla ice cream to top off my birthday celebration. The service we received was really spectacular.

We would absolutely go back, even without the freebies.“

The service was excellent, from the time we walked in, to leaving, all staff constantly greeted and checked on us to make sure we were doing well.

The grilled green peppers🫑 were good, not too spicy.

The sushi was very fresh and tender, and the plates, including teriyaki salmon were tasty.

The place was packed.

The only downside was that their parking lot had zero self parking spaces, only valet parking so if you prefer not to, would need to find nearby street parking, which we did and walk a few blocks to the restaurant.“

Our server got a bit mixed up with our order since we were dining in and ordering takeout at the same time, but that was a minor hiccup. I had the avocado toast with two poached eggs and it was tasty. I added a sprinkle of pepper and it was set to go. Definitely interested in trying the rest of their menu.

“Definitely a go to place for comfort food! It was my first time to go here with my girlfriends and their happy hour is worth it! Since then I kept coming back or order delivery. My favorite is the gyro combo with some sweet potato waffle fries. Don't forget the garlic aoli sauce (thank me later ;D)“

“We had an out of town guest who loved pasta so brought her to Uovo for the food and ambiance. All the pasta dishes were excellent…and each with its own unique taste. Portions are “small” for US so definitely recommend at least one dish per person.“

That spicy roasted miso avocado roll? I’m still dreaming about it. The ramen? A full-on experience. Chef Tokuma even came over to explain the menu (yes, the service is that good). Every bite was dramatic in the best way possible—bold, balanced, and bursting with flavor. I’m a lifer now. “Stopped in here today and glad we did. This is a very comfortable open air patio restaurant with outstanding food.

My wife had the chicken kabob plate and I had the beef plate. They were very tasty. Even the rice was very flavorful. My favorite was the beef shish kabob. It was tender with really good flavor.

The staff was friendly and helpful.

“Delicious Japanese izakaya food in a super cute setting with fantastic, extraordinarily friendly service. I can't wait to come back.

We ordered the agadashi tofu, tempura udon noodles, and Daichan beef teriyaki special bento box. Everything was well prepared. The tempura was perfectly crispy, the beef was tender and flavorful, the udon was clean and filling. Pricing was also super reasonable.

“So glad to finally tried this place, I don't have to drive to Ktown when I have the cravings for Korean food. I was skeptical but I had to try this place at least once. I went there with my daughter for lunch, ordered kimchee fried rice, kimche jjigae and port katzu. The portions were good and the taste was pretty authentic. Definitely going back. I'm sure their sushi will be pretty good as well as our lunch was.“
