“A beautiful japanese restaurant. We enjoyed a lunch special that includes choice of 3 different entrees, soup salad & 2 different Appitizer style bites. My husband had the sea bass roll & we also were impressed with salmon belly nigiri. Enough to order another taste.. Very fresh & tasty. Very Japanese. Clean flavors & the service here is stellar. Definitely give them a try if your in the area. Would go back in a heartbeat“

“The Best Restaurant Ever.... Michael C. hands down is the best waiter one could ask for. Management is the best, my family and I felt so welcomed. We can't wait to visit again. By the way, that was my first time ever having Sushi Roll, (sweet & spicy crab), roll. And God be with me on the butter cake, the beeeeest eveeeer. Okay, the Brussel Sprout Chips, Tempura Cauliflower, and Shrimp Fried Rice... I mean I can't stop thinking about my meal........ The Ambiance, the best .... That's everything in a nutshell They deserve a 10 Reshelle & Rico“

“We stopped here due to reviews on yelp and were not disappointed! Every single peice of sushi we ordered was fresh and flavorful! It's been awhile since we have experienced some creativity in flavors and they continually surprised us with combos like marscapone cheese with eel and then made our tummy happy with freshly grated Truffles. The rice proportion was absolutely perfect, just a little but not too thick so you really taste the flavor of the fish. All the sushi chefs were friendly and I wish I lived closer so I could eat there all the time!“

“My friends took me to Leona's sushi house earlier this week. It was last minute, for my birthday and we were able to get a table without a reservation! The decor and the mood was great. Lighting was sexy. I don't even mind that I had to use my cellphone light to see the menu. ?. Drinks were great! Everything was delicious. Especially Loved the Black Cod and the spicy edamame. Our server, I think her name was Tanya or Tania was exceptional, very attentive and gave great recommendations. Would definitely visit again to try more items on the menu.“

“I have to write this up while the food is fresh on my mind. Had an incredible meal here last night complete with cauliflower hot wings, two incredible vegan rolls of sushi (I'm not vegan and literally couldn't tell) and these jalapeno Boyz that were absolutely delicious! In short, I was absolutely blown away by the food, the service, and + bro, they have SNAPPLE. No photos because we devoured everything, no crumbs left behind.“

“Ramen so good I forgot to take pictures! We found this little gem while staying at an AirBNB in Studio City. The menu was varied and we found something for everyone in our party, including the picky little guy. This was honestly some of the best ramen we've had anywhere (we were on vacation) and I have recommended it to others traveling to area. The service was super friendly as well.“

“I've been hearing about Chiba from my brother for years, and now I understand why it's his go-to spot for sushi. Freshness is paramount when it comes to sushi, and Chiba delivers on every level. The sushi rolls were bursting with flavor, and each piece of nigiri was perfect. It's clear that the chefs at Chiba take immense pride in their craft, and it truly shines through in every dish. Their attention to detail and the commitment to providing a wonderful sushi dining experience. In my humble opinion, Chiba easily ranks among the top 5 sushi spots in the entire Los Angeles area. If you're looking for fresh, delicious sushi served with a side of exceptional service, look no further than Chiba. Trust me wheh I say you won't be disappointed.“

“This is a great sushi spot ! I always go here for lunch at work. The best part is that most rolls are bogo 50% off. They are super helpful with great service. The ambiance is meh and it's kind of small but I'm really there for the food cause it's bomb !“

“I don't know how I've never been here before but it wasn't just dinner, it was an experience. There is much to be said about an elevated staff that is perfectly poised in how to treat their guests and create an "experience ". That is just what they did, from the hostess, to the server, to the sommelier. And I haven't even started talking about the food!! The ambiance is beautiful, the food was spectacular and fresh, we had the Omakase. It was served with a sparking rosé that was just wonderful! The whole experience was a 10 and I can't wait to go back! Unbelievable hidden gem!“

“I've been to many sushi restaurants/bars in the valley. Asanebo from my experience is hands down the best sushi you can get. The service is immaculate, the best I've ever had at a sushi spot. I wouldn't be able to tell you something bad I've had there. Been going for a while now and everything is great.“

“Ramen Chef Kei is a highly skilled and very talented chef and the valley is lucky to have such plant based food of this caliber being offered. The yuzu sesame ramen is extraordinarily delicious, full of depth and flavor! The fresh yuzu really brings all the flavors out in the dish and I loved it! This is a spot to drive out of your way it's that delicious. Go now, thank me later!“

“This is a great Asian Fusion Restaurant. Prices are pretty reasonable considering the fish is high quality. My husband had the sushi combo that comes with a choice of stuff we had the tempura, also miso soup and salad. I had the hand roll combo which also comes with miso soup and salad. It was a lot of food and all delicious. Wait staff were nice, friendly and helpful. Had a full bar. Would go back to try the ramen and chicken katsu.“

“I walk by this place daily and it's always so busy. I decided to try it for myself and it was delicious. Everything seemed fresh and full of flavor. The waiters were all super sweet and attentive to our needs. We went for lunch so it wasn't as busy as it normally is, which was nice because the space is a little tight given its all bar seating. They play good music and it's a fun atmosphere. There's plenty of street parking and valet (10-15$). I will say this spot is on the pricer side, Im not convinced the meal was worth the price give theres an omekase down the street.“

“This place is clean, with a great welcoming ambiance. We tried the chicken curlet curry and beef curry. the portions they give are huge! The chicken cutlet was crispy outside and soft inside, the beef is soft with a brown curry. The staff here are all friendly and attentive. Will definately be back! You have to stop by and give it a try!“

“We came here on a whim, after finding The Daily Outpost mysteriously closed on a Friday evening. Umigame is so good! “The location is small so there wasn't alot of space for parking. I went ahead and used the valet service they had. The inside of the restaurant was small and felt a bit cramped. (If you are claustrophobic, be careful) of course there were spaces to move around but it will be difficult for others. The food was decent but oof pricey. My favorite was the bluefin tuna Trio. For the price of the dish, I understand since it tasted pretty fresh and the presentation was visible. I tried sea urchin for the first time here and I guess I can't say too much about it other than it being very very strong in ocean flavor. The service was great! I was well taken care of by our amazing waiter.“

“I was looking for a new sushi spot (you can tell when old favorites start going through the motions) and The Big Fish is right on the money. We had the Caterpillar roll, crunch roll, and baked salmon roll, all very good. The baked salmon roll was actually one of the best I've ever had - perfect temperature. Interior of the restaurant has a nice vibe, and friendly folks work there. Pricewise this might be slightly higher (for some of the rolls) than other places, but you can taste the difference. This is in a part of town I hadn't been to in years and the location is in a "blink and you'll miss it" strip mall at Riverside and Coldwater Canyon...so thanks to Yelp's new restaurant email and all of the other reviews: this is a sushi place worth visiting!“

“Although the service can sometimes be.. questionable (especially when they are busy or towards closing hours), the food is absolutely 20/10. This is the best sushi restaurant I have ever been to, and I’ve been to over 100 around the world. The people making the food are also cool and always down to chat.Get baked crab and salmon roll and thank me later.“

“This is my favorite sushi place. Small unassuming location in a strip mall. There’s no Cheetos and bacon roll or whatever, if that’s your kind of thing. This is a sushi master serving simple, fresh, perfectly prepared, traditional sushi. The toro, the uni, the oysters, the mackerel, it’s perfect. The server let us know which plates they didn’t want us to use soy sauce on. I thought it was beautiful and I didn’t use that stuff on a single dish anyway.“

“Chicken katsu was great, big portion, tender chicken, came with a pretty and delicious salad and the curry was also very good. It was totally worth the price. Takoyaki was one of the best I've eaten. The portion is also generous and there were definitely big chunks of Tako inside the balls. Presentation was very pretty too. However my lemon roll was not as good as the other dishes. The spicy tuna was overly spicy and it took away the flavor of the entire dish. The size surprised me positively though, it was much bigger than rolls in other places. The fish was fresh and the proportion with rice was good too. I would definitely come back.“

“Super delicious Omakase experience! I'd definitely like to go back on a week night for a few rolls. We did a double date here the other night and there was a mixup with our order and we waited a long time but they made it right. I definitely recommend the Omakase experience! My favorite was the nigiri and sashimi. Super fresh and all the details on top of the fish were delicious. Creamy caviar at one point ! This place is in a busy area, so parking is hard, get there early! I appreciate the upscale vibe in the midst of a lot of restaurants, its stands apart!“

“Amazing food every time we visit. We have been going for over 6 years because the quality of the sushi and the friendly service is unmatched. “I had to review this great restaurant! The food is outstanding and the people are a truly great couple who aim to please their customers. Chef Ike and his wife, Irene, are consummate professionals who understand sushi and source the very freshest fish I have ever had in LA- either side of the hill! I am a loyal eater and it took a lot for me to try a new sushi spot after going to a very famous valley sushi spot for over 25 years. I was thrilled, which is saying a lot considering the legendary competetion that they were up against. I have not ever had a less than fabulous piece of fish there.“

“At first glance, there was nothing special going on. The decor was clean, simple and casual. It was also more expensive, especially for a Van Nuys location. But the servings had good size and freshness, not to mention chefy garnishes here and there. I was also pleasantly surprised when they had my coveted favorite, Sea Urchin!I’ll be back. This is now my go to Sushi place! ????❤️?“

“This place is the definition of a hidden gem. Unbelievably amazing ramen everything is just right with flavor and spice. Very laid back aesthetic and service was wonderful. I ordered and highly recommend the spicy tonkotsu it was probably the best I have had in Los Angeles. Outside of the amazing ramen they have so much more to offer. I cannot gush over this place enough. If I could I would give it 6 stars out of 5 just for havingSapporo and asahi on draft on top of everything else.“

“Enjoyed a very nice lunch here recently. The food was very good and the staff friendly. Our only complaint was the music level was a little loud for conversation and the staff could not adjust it as it was controlled by the manager. “Literally my favorite sushi restaurant hands down!! The service is great, and the ambiance is casual. The fish is always extremely fresh and so are the appetizers. I'm extremely picky and if I get a weird smell from fish I will NEVER eat from a restaurant again, but not once have I had that experience. Even when they are super busy, the service is spot on. The only thing I would change about Sushi Corner, is that they have certain times of when they are open and closed with a gap in the middle- I'm guessing that's for lunch; but even then, I'd recommend them not closing for lunch and just taking turns. Regardless, I will always continue to enjoy sushi here and continue to recommend it to my friends and family.“

“Great hole in the wall sushi spot in Burbank! All the sushi & sashimi we had was delicious. Hamachi Kama was wonderful too - meaty & flavorful! Was on the pricey side of what we usually like to spend but a nice treat! That said, we did have a few sakes which added up to the total…“

“Ooooh this place was so good! We went on Halloween night so it was empty inside, but our server was attentive and nice. The sushi was SO. GOOD. We got an albacore special roll that was delicious, an extremely spicy hand roll, a crunchy rice cake situation and scallop dynamite in a shell. Everything tasted fresh and I loved the flavor combos. The crunchy rice cracker thing was AMAZING, I'm so happy we ordered it. The spicy hand roll was too spicy for me, but my boyfriend loved it. The scallop dynamite could have used some sort of sauce on top but it was still very good. I'm definitely coming back here again!“

“Great food at a good price, always looking forward to my family visiting because it gives me a reason to stop by. I and my family have been going there for years and I can't remember any issues with the service or food. Unfortunately the pandemic prevented us from going and I'm sure that hurt their business yet I was relieved to see they survived. Will look forward to going there soon I hope. Thanks for the memories and good atmosphere. Thank You..“
