“This place has always been a favorite spot for lunch. Since covid, they no longer have indoor seating. That said, the Pinoy Breakfast A Pork Tosilog is a must-have. Always go for the double meat option for good measure. Don't forget to use the vinegar they include as it brings out the flavor of the pork and egg yolk!“
“Dang this place is LEGIT! How do I know? Cuz I was taken here by a REAL. LIFE. FILIPINA. So yeah, it is what it is. We got some two combo plates, a whole bunch chicken adobo, little sausage wienies, dried Pork stuff, Sweet'n'Zour Pork stuff and some other beef stuff. It was a pretty solid serving, but I had just come from a stellar workout, so I was eXXXtra hungo. Ya see, on Tuesday, I had done Chest and Back, good ol' Push'n'pull day, and that was lovely, as it always is. Glamour muscles, amirite?! Course I yam! Then on Wednesday, I was working out with Izzy, and we hadn't done a pusherpuller day together yet, so we were due for one. A little background - Izzy has never done traditional weighted workouts (weight rooms can be intimidating AF, yo!), so she needed a coach. Enter Mikey, stage right. I was worried that I was going to be doing too much pushin' and too much pullin', but it actually ended up being really awesome! I was able to do a lot more strength focusing, rather than muscle building. So after that pump, I was ready for ANOTHER pump. The kind where I pump food into my fat face until I hate myself :D Food - A+! Diarrhea - swift and unforgiving - A+++ kThxBai! LuvYou! :D“
“The dinuguan was a little sour but that is expected, sinigang as well. More veggies for the sinigang would have been nice. Service was fine. Names of the food by the container would have been helpful as to not offend the cashier when you ask for that "crispy shrimp thing on top of something fried."“
“A great BYO Asian bowl spot on Stanford campus! The place is pretty popular with students, so there tends to be a line around lunchtime. Bowls are around $12, all meats are the same price. There is no seating inside, just grab and go, but there are some nice seating areas right outside.I had a salad bowl with half tocino and half panko chicken. Loved the texture and flavor of both meats, and the variety and amount of vegetables I got in my bowl. The tocino pork had a great sweet and savory flavor and the panko chicken was crispy and tender.Topped it off with the sriracha mayo sauce.Would definitely return to try their other protein options!“
“went to celebrate a good friend promotion and it's my first time here. the food was really authentic and service was great. the owners are kind and love to host. i would recommend this to anyone trying new foods which is filipino food. need to give this a try if you are in the area. cheers!“
“Wow! This place really looks nice inside. I saw their restaurant name sign outside and seems like they haven’t changed it since they opened, which is a bout a decade ago. Anyways, you can see that there are plenty of decorations inside and it’s mostly about sports. It also gives you a good vibe of living in the Philippines since the environment of that place tends to be like.Let’s talk about the food. I am quite impressed that they serve us food in more cultural plates with a leaf sticking at the top. The food is also delicious and authentic. Really great choice of seasonings especially on the garlic rice and pork sisig! No wonder this place is so popular especially on Yelp. It’s also great that they leave utensils out there unlike most restaurants where you have to ask them for extra. Honestly wish that they have more individual plates options in the menu, but that’s fine. I came here for breakfast and popularity of it anyways!“
“Huge overwhelming menu. Huge overwhelming portions. What else do you need?Great, authentic tasting Filipino food here. I recommend the silog plates, especially the one that lets you sample a few different meats. Comes with garlic rice, fried egg, and veggies. Lumpia was tasty too! Also they make some nice Asian flavor mimosas (think lychee, mango, etc).Go check it out!“
“My friends and I came here and were able to be seated immediately. Menu has a large variety of food to choose from, from soups to rice dishes to noodle dishes and dessert too! The ambiance is nice, it can get loud due to large parties, they are family style dishes and all food came out quickly.“
“Extremely friendly staff. They took the time to explain to us their offerings. Food was exceptionally delicious in a basic, traditional way. Tried most of the meats and each offered something unique. Highly recommend for a unique, easy going lunch.“
