“Great Beer, great food, and a great venue!“

“Tong Sui Desserts & Drinks in Sunnyvale offers an interesting take on traditional desserts, though it didn’t quite match my personal preferences.

Signature Dishes: Maybe it’s just me, but I didn’t love their tong sui signature dishes. As a huge coconut fan, I felt like the addition of flavors like strawberry or vanilla made it taste a bit too western for my liking, taking away from the authentic coconut flavor I enjoy. While the concept is creative, the execution didn’t quite hit the mark for me.

Pricing: The pricing definitely felt a bit high for what you get. While the desserts are decent, I don’t think they justify the cost, especially considering the size and flavor profile of the dishes.

Service: The service, however, was great. The staff were helpful and friendly, offering suggestions and answering questions with a smile. They made the experience much more pleasant, and I appreciate their attentiveness.

Ambience: The ambience was solid as well. It’s a cozy space with a relaxed vibe, making it a nice place to unwind while enjoying your dessert. The atmosphere contributes positively to the overall experience.

Overall, while Tong Sui Desserts & Drinks has a nice vibe and good service, the desserts and pricing didn’t quite work for me. It’s worth checking out if you’re open to their unique take on traditional flavors, but it wasn’t exactly what I was hoping for.“

“Fantastic experience at this small quaint mom-and-pop kinda place. The manager/server was kind enough to accommodate all our requests. The taro ube tea (without caffeine) was out of the world! Loved the pad thai, banh-mi, papaya salad too. We will be back again to try the other things on the menu.“

“My family and I just recently went to Sourdough and had a great experience. The staff were very welcoming and very patient with our group. The restaurant itself was very clean. Tables were brand new with cool designs. The atmosphere was also very respectful and peaceful.

Food was also very exceptional for the price. I had the grilled chicken sandwich. The meat was very tender and overall very good. Others in our group that are vegetarian were also very pleased with their meals. The Caprese sandwich and the ttomato bisque with the side of bread were very popular. The cookies though shouldn't be overlooked. They were very soft and delicious. If you come here you have to give the cookies a try.“

“Finally - delicious cake without all the sugar! I got the durian and salted yolk slices, both of which were barely sweet yet very flavorful. Asian cake already tends to be light on sugar, but this takes it to the next level. The pot of homemade tea was a nice touch. Slices are expensive but they're worth trying at least once. “Bean Scene Coffee – A Timeless Favorite I’ve been coming to Bean Scene Coffee since 2005, and even after moving out of the area, I still make a point to stop by whenever I can. This place has always had a special charm—great coffee, a welcoming atmosphere, and some of the best food around. My go-to orders are the Portobello Mushroom Sandwich and the Lox on a Bagel—both consistently delicious and made with fresh ingredients. The flavors are well-balanced, and the quality has remained top-notch over the years. There’s something comforting about returning to a spot that still feels like home, no matter how much time has passed. Bean Scene Coffee continues to be a favorite, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food, coffee, and a cozy vibe.“

“Stopped by for lunch since I was looking for some al pastor tacos and heard this place was a solid contender! Was definitely not disappointed as these were my favorite in addition to the carne asada as well as birria tacos! The truck is located in the parking lot of a gas station so parking can be a bit difficult sometimes but otherwise a great spot to try out. Can’t wait to try other items next time!!“

“Last night sept 27th, 5 of us came to get drinks and chill out. We were greeted at the door by a nice young lady and 2 quite, but still chill guys. The explained that there was an event for Turkish music happening and that it was almost like a private event. They did give us the option of paying $50.00 per head to get in, but that wasn’t a thing feel me? Either way im leaving this review because no lie Ive never seen that many beautiful Turkish women waiting to get in to what looked like a modest bar/venue. I think I saw my future wife there, well I wont know for sure cause I wasn’t paying the 50 to get it. If you went Im already knowing you had a good ass time. Can’t leave a review on the food or service since we didn’t even make it in, but on vibes alone? 5 stars.

“If you're craving some killer Mexican grub, hit up that food truck parked near Lowes. I rolled by today and snagged their super burrito - holy guacamole, it was legit!

This bad boy was packed with flavors that'll make your taste buds do a happy dance. And don't even get me started on the spicy salsa they hook you up with. That stuff is the cherry on top, giving everything an extra kick that'll wake you right up.
The second I got close to the truck, the smell hit me like a delicious punch to the face.

“Great pizza - our go to indian pizza place in Fremont. Can be quite spicy (which we like). The gongura paneer and vijaywada paneer are always good.

One complaint / tip - they give 50% off the second large pizza... but only if you call or order in person. If you order online, no discount - which doesn't make any sense to me!! Please fix that as customers doing the more efficient thing are being penalized for it!“

“Aloft Sunnyvale on its own is good enough value for money spent. However, what truly stood out was the customer ser ice of its front desk. Shoutout to Michelle for helping me out a ton when I was trying to extend my stay. No excuses were made and she found a way to get it done even under difficult circumstances. Roy was also great with the room upgrade when he saw that I had brought a friend and might have needed a bigger bed. 10/10 Customer Service!“

“Most importantly it is perfect for people who are on gluten free diet and still want to enjoy f ry iced chicken.If you like crunchy fried chicken with lots of chicken, not only panning, and tasty sauce this is the place . The Seoul sandwich had the crispiest chicken and was big enough to share. The thai salad was fresh and we all enjoyed the peach lemonade.
