“Just had a dish of soybean seedling and it was surprisingly good! They had a perfect little crunch on the outside but stayed tender inside. The seasoning was spot-on—a nice savory, garlicky flavor with a hint of spice. It's a great simple side dish, super healthy-tasting, and feels light even when ate lots meats.“

“Was in Sunnyvale for a convention and went hunting for a little hole in the wall spot… Cam Hung on Reed nailed it.

Grabbed a couple banh mi to go. Bread was fresh with a nice light crunch, veggies still crisp, meat tender and tasty. Simple, real Vietnamese sandwich flavor… very yummy and still priced fair for the Bay.

The shop is my kind of organized chaos. Tiny place, line of people, every inch packed with stuff. Coolers full of basil seed drinks, tamarind tea, Vietnamese coffee… stacks of green and purple jelly desserts, rice cakes, spring rolls, marinated meats to take home. Counter is covered with snacks, candies, steamed buns, random goodies.

Staff was friendly and smiling. Little bit of a language barrier but nothing pointing and nodding could not fix. Place is crowded and parking is tight, and there is a small card minimum, but everything I could see looked clean and well kept, which honestly impressed me with how much they squeeze into that space.

Bottom line… this is exactly the kind of mom and pop shop I look for when I travel. If you want a legit Vietnamese sandwich instead of another chain lunch, Cam Hung is worth the stop.“

“We enjoyed a nice dinner in this family owned comfy place. The food was very good although the chicken didn’t seem like it was grilled (asada) just plain chicken. The portions were good but everything needed salsa on it to have enough flavor. Steak was also just a little flavorless. The margarita was delicious. The service was excellent. They are relatively small and quick and made a great latte to go with my lox bagel. My complaint would be that my bagel was a tad too toasted but I’ll remember that for next time.“

“Close to my hotel so I decided to try it out. Got 2 bagels to try: a salt with plain cream cheese and a poppy seed with strawberry, both were excellent. Wasn’t that hungry but ended up downing them both.

Perfect amount of chew and toasted exactly right, perfect spread to bagel ratio; some places overload it and it gets everywhere when you bite in.

Black Iced coffee tasted great and went perfectly. Overall my morning got off to a terrible start, but these bagels turned it around. I never leave reviews, but I was impressed. I’ll be stopping by again on my next work trip!“

“I like pho and this places serves it really well!

Got the house special selection large size and it came out really fast. Comes with all the ingredients you would expect from an excellent pho. There were a lot of noodles in there and the broth was super tasty! The beef was also quite enjoyable. I would definitely come back to eat more pho.

“Wow the best pizza I ever had and trust me I love pizza. I got the tandoori chicken with pineapple. This pizza was made with quality ingredients, with love and they saved the day today as I picked up the pizza I put it on the top of the car and when I drove off it fell and when I made a U-turn rto come back someone stole it already. We reached to them and spoke to the manager and he was very kind and went above and beyond to make us same pizza without paying for another one. “This is the best pan-fried soup dumpling I’ve had in the Bay Area. The xiao long bao have thicker skins, and while I personally prefer the thinner ones from Din Tai Fung, these still have plenty of soup and aren’t bad. The dumplings, mushroom pork buns, chicken pan-fried dumplings, and spicy beef hotpot were all solid and tasty, though not particularly outstanding. The scallion bun is packed with scallions, making it a must-try for scallion lovers. Overall, the food was delicious, and I’ll definitely visit again.“

“Great PC cafe, lovely staff, amazing prices. I was going to give 3 stars because the computers are severely outdated, but I love this cafe a lot and still highly recommend it.

For reference, the PC I used had a Intel I5-8600K and the GPU was a 1660 Super, both about 7-8 years old. I was barely getting 120 frames on Overwatch medium settings which is a bit disappointing for a 1080p monitor. Additionally the mousepad is really small and the keyboard and mice are crusty and old reddragons, which don't feel great to use. My recommendation to the cafe is to update their hardware and provide a larger mousepad.

I still loved my time there over the 12 hours I spent, I just wish the computers were nicer so I could justify coming more often.“

Average neighborhood Mongolian grill. If you want Mongolian grill food it would work for you. If you have shellfish allergies, or maybe any food allergy, I would avoid this place. They cook by dragging the food around the grill once per person instead of a space they clean like the larger grills will do. They just place the next bowl immediately after and drag it around across the previous persons stuff. I was eating shrimp and I eat spicy, so for me it wasn't an issue. Sucks for the person following me, and sucked for my son (9) as he followed a spice lover and his dish ended up too spicy for him to enjoy. He was pretty disappointed.“

“I went to try the new lunch menu at Tanto Izakaya in Sunnyvale that started last week. I’m a huge fan of Tanto and their authentic Japanese menu, so when I saw they had new lunch set meals, I just had to go right away. I tried the Bara chirashi set meal for $33 and while it seems pricy, it is worth the price due to the huge portions and I left feeling very full.

Times have changed, this is the economy we are in for prices. Portion wise, I think it’s even enough to share. Come hungry!

The presentation is like a chirashi bowl I had in Hokkaido earlier this year. If you love Japanese food, I highly recommend a try. Service is quite fast. I was the first customer at opening. They have been around 25 years, so the vibe is always good and nostalgic.“
