“This is a place I've wanted to go to for years, but couldn't because their hours are so strange. They open from 11:30 am-2:30 pm....and that's it.
Dai Ho has the best beef noodle I've had in the Los Angeles area. The beef was extremely tender, and the broth was very flavorful. The dan dan mian was pretty good, a good blend of creaminess and spiciness.
Parking is difficult in this plaza, they only have a couple spots available. Otherwise, you would need to find street parking.”

“Located in a vibrant neighborhood, Oyster Dive Bar offers a delightful dining experience with a unique twist on seafood classics. The crispy Cajun fries with cheese are a standout appetizer, perfectly seasoned and crunchy, making them an irresistible starter. The lobster pasta features fresh lobster, expertly prepared and bursting with flavor, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to quality ingredients. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, ideal for both casual outings and intimate dinners. The service is attentive and friendly, adding to the overall enjoyable atmosphere. Prices are reasonable given the quality and portion sizes. However, it's worth noting that the restroom could use more attention; cleanliness was a bit lacking during my visit. Despite this minor drawback, the delicious food and pleasant surroundings make Oyster Dive Bar a recommended choice for seafood enthusiasts looking to enjoy a satisfying meal in a relaxed setting. Overall, Oyster Dive Bar earns four stars for its tasty dishes, friendly service, and comfortable ambiance. With a few improvements in cleanliness, it could easily become a five-star dining destination.”

“The Hat isn't just a restaurant—it's a part of my personal history. I grew up eating here, and during my college years, it became my go-to late-night spot. There's something about walking up to The Hat, smelling that unmistakable aroma of sizzling pastrami, and knowing you're about to dig into something unforgettable.
Their pastrami is simply the best—no exaggeration. Piled high, tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of fat to melt in your mouth. The sandwich is served hot, with that signature mustard and pickles that cut through the richness just right. Whether it's the classic pastrami sandwich, chili cheese fries loaded with pastrami, or even the pastrami burger, it's always satisfying.
And it wouldn’t be a visit to The Hat without an Orange Bang to wash it all down. That icy, creamy orange drink pairs perfectly with the savory flavors of the meal—it's nostalgic and refreshing all at once. If you know, you know.
The portions here are generous, easily shareable (if you're feeling kind), and always freshly made. I’ve taken friends and family here over the years, and everyone always walks away impressed—and full.
One of the things I love most is that they stay open late, which made them a lifesaver during long study nights and post-hangout food runs in college. You could always count on The Hat to deliver a consistently great experience, no matter the hour.
This place has stood the test of time for good reason. It’s not flashy or trendy—it’s just damn good food, served with consistency and heart. The Hat will always hold a special place in my memories and continues to earn my loyalty with every visit.”

“We ordered Taiwanese fried rice noodles, green onion and sesame flatbread, Hakka stir-fry, Shacha beef water spinach and dried lentils.
Hakka stir-fry, it is really fried with dried squid, which is something very few restaurants do. But why stir-fry satay sauce? At first I thought it was dried shredded pork until I tasted dried squid. The dried tofu is cut so well!
Taiwanese fried rice noodles, fried very well, there is no sauce at the bottom of the plate, amazing! ? The rice noodles are very elastic and delicious!
The dry lentils were just average.
I will eat it next time and will continue to order Taiwanese fried rice noodles, Hakka stir-fried rice noodles and other dishes.”

“It was my first time here, and this place was pretty busy. A lot of people were picking up cakes and buying cakes like the mango cake that was freshly made.
It's not too big on the inside, and there was only one lady who was helping everyone. They had a special going on, but 5 get one free.
I purchased a bunch of snacks for me and the family. One of my favorites is the pineapple cookie, which has actual pineapple on the inside. They had sponge cakes and peanut/ sesame candy. They also had bbq bun, which is always a go-to. They also had a mochi walnut cake that was delicious.”

“I ordered the H6 soup and H1 kimchi pan fried dumplings. Lets start with the soup…have ya’ll ever seen the anime Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma?? Yea, eating here is like that. This soup was so good it blew my socks off. Holy. Moly. Its spicy but it burns sooo good. The broth is rich, thick, layered. The noodles are hand made (according to my waitress). And the premium meat is just perfect. I just found my new spot to eat after work on a cold winter day. One spoonful of this soup will send your taste buds reeling. As you can tell, i really liked it. Spectacular. Give me fourteen of them more.
The kimchi dumplings were really good too. Lol. Oh and they give you hot tea when you sit down. Classic.
P.s. sorry for the half eaten soup pic. It was so good i had to write the review before i finished it.”

“This cafe makes the go to cafe to experience Hong Kong style food. The spam egg sandwich is delicious, most impressive with the softness of bread. The macaroni looks soft but it is also springy . It gives a nostalgic vibe with rich decor of the 70s in Hong Kong. It is perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy great food and old days .”

“Absolutely loved my experience at Chun La Hao Chong Qing Hot Pot! The food was incredibly fresh and flavorful. The spicy broth had a real kick, just like you’d expect from authentic Chongqing hot pot. There were tons of ingredient options, from premium meats to fresh vegetables and handmade fish balls.
Service was excellent—staff were friendly, attentive, and quick to refill broth and bring extra sauces or drinks. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with traditional Chinese décor and lively energy that made the whole dining experience more enjoyable.
We dined in, and everything from the table setup to the individual hot pot stations was clean and well-organized. I’ll definitely be coming back again. Highly recommended for hot pot lovers!”

“A new store has opened here! Now it’s Cantonese food + Malatang. The rice rolls look great and taste good. The addition of chopped peanuts is interesting and the portion is not small, but the soy sauce is not very interesting. The spicy hotpot is super delicious, the soup base is very fragrant, and the ingredients are very tasty. I recommend that it be a little spicy.”
