“So happy we re-found these guys! They were AJ’s kitchen on the 41 and we went quite often there. They left that location and came here. It’s a quaint place with small section of seating indoors and a nice patio area outside. Enrique even remembers our names and it’s been at least a yr since we’ve seen him. We have always loved their food. And this time did not disappoint. The salsa was smoked just right. Chips are fresh. The pastrami sandwich was great. And the macaroni salad is the bomb! Seasoned just right. With this location they have beer but only one for the time being. We will definitely be back more now that we know where they are. If you haven’t been here, you are 100% missing out. Go check it out for yourself.“

My wife and even my kids drive from Tulare, CA just to stop and say hi and grab a coffee (the blended Chai is our favorite) my wife and kids used to stop every day when they lived here and even now we make the drive for some. It's worth the short stop if you're passing through for some of the best coffee and friendliest service you will ever receive.“

“My first experience with their Costa Rican Beans: I woke up this morning in Atascadero to a black lab licking my face a child generated chaos, just like any other day. I hear the coffee grinder grinding away in the kitchen and then the un deniable sound of the high speed fruitless spin that comes with running out of beans. I jumped into my pants, hastily walked to the truck to retrieve a little black bag and filled the hopper. I made no adjustments to the machine, pushed in on the portafilter, ground coffee began to gracefully descend from above. I tamped the grounds with a slight rotation of the tamper, engaged the porta filter into the machine and depressed the two shot button. A velvety waterfall descended from the porta filter streaming into my weathered mason jar, a cloud of creama floated above my espresso and then I proceeded to add a deluge of microfoamed whole milk. I then grabbed my cup and floated through the chaos to my recliner, sat down, pulled. The lever, took a sip of this heavenly nectar, closed my eyes and found myself gently swaying in a hammock somewhere in a rainforest in Central America. I could hear the birds and the monkeys playing at symphony just for me I could smell the sweet humidity that follows an equatorial rain, and for just a moment I had peace.“

“Human Bean in Atascadero, hands down some of the best coffee I’ve ever had. Not only do they serve up one of the best Chai’s, the service and experience is stellar. I was greeted by friendly faces, amazing service and great coffee. 11/10 would drive 30 minutes just to grab another fire side chai and the little chocolate bean they give me on my drink.“

They have day old donuts that taste just as freshly made as the others and at a super crazy discounted price . Staff is always welcoming and attentive. Really love the old-school feel with the cute little tables .“

“Great staff, very patient with multiple custom drink orders. Store is very busy could use a few more employees. The atmosphere was nice but not as inviting as other Starbucks, they also did not have music playing, there is more seating outside than in- but it was 101 degrees outside.“

I have to say, the Toasted White Chocolate Mocha was really good and the Impossible Breakfast sandwich might just be my new fave! Still not gonna spend $5.50 on an 800 calorie coffee everyday... but, I will definitely stop by for a sandwich and a coffee now and then. “Friendly, very busy though. Order was correct and drive thru line is always long. Walk in at this store is just as busy. Might want to spread your visits to 24th or golden hill, even creston. Just as friendly and not as congested. Creston doesn't seem as busy by a notch.“
