“Went through the drive-through as a quick stop before our 4 hour drive back home. The veggie burrito was great (I don't like vegetables but want to and thought I'd give it a try ?). However, when I asked for no egg on mine, they took the egg off both and left my hubby's veggie burrito without. He wasn't happy because he wanted the egg and was hungry soon after.Just be clear on what you want, and you should be good.“

“Fantastic! We had a great time at Frisky Business. The owners are kind and passionate, and greeted us with excitement. You get any drink you want, which they bring to you in the cat room— and they take great care to have good coffee, matcha, and really nice drinks in the fridge. There were 10 kitties, as two had just been adopted. At first they were mostly napping, but they warmed up to us as we coaxed them out and played with them. It was extra fun to give them treats and earn more trust. I will be back absolutely any time I’m in the area! Didn’t get many photos because I was too busy enjoying the cats. Great vegan options!!“

“Great selection, smells like heaven in there! Service friendly, fast and patient as you drool over options! Trays of fresh donuts continually replenished. I had a raspberry bismark with powdered sugar coating and an apple fritter. YUM!! Hubs had a glazed donut and cinnamon twist, he agreed YUM! Fresh, light flavorful and my fritter still had warm apples inside. They even threw in a couple free donut holes to try (raised ones, also so good!) That's a simple way to get repeat customers!“

“It's a beautiful outdoor space. I'm for biased for sure, because nothing is nicer than coffee on a sunny morning. My cappuccino was excellent, cinnamon biscuits not so. It was soggy. To be to my taste, it should be more dry. Service was good. You order on the counter and the server will bring you to your table.“

“SOLID place for great food and perfect outdoor patio. One of the best scambled egg Breakfast Sandwiches I've had in a minute. Beautiful flakey croissant that held a grip of fluffy scrambled eggs and crispy smokey bacon! I washed it down with a nice hot americono. The warden ordered yogurt and berries with granola. She also had a vanella latte to drink. She reported everything to be exceptional. The service was excellent. It's a first come, first serve seating, and you order at the counter and then find a seat. Both food runners we encountered were extremely friendly and polite. We are locals, and we will be back!“

“Love the quickness, the atmosphere, the vibe, even the music (cafe friendly), and of course, the drinks are on par. I'm not sure if it's a branch off of Tea Be Honest but I am mostly going to come back for more. The lady that helped my fiance and I were very sweet and welcoming. “

“Originally we came for ice cream but when we noticed their turkey sandwich, so we got one to share. It exceeded our expectations. It was toasted and had all the fixings like tomato, lettuce, melted mozzarella cheese, bacon, chipotle Aioli on a sourdough bread. WE DEVOURED IT SO FAST, I'm sorry there isn't a picture to prove it. “People were super nice. Food was solid but espresso drinks are not real so for me this was a big problem. A good cappuccino is worth more than a delicious bagel in the morning! I will say all baked products looked and smelled fantastic and the donut holes they give you were a nice treat“

“Overall, it was a decent experience!I arrived on a Saturday afternoon around 12pm. It was busy as expected but I was able to be seated right away at the little mimosa bar.Unfortunately I waited about 20 minutes before a waiter acknowledged me. I only had table water that the hostess gave me. When I finally did get served, the waiter was super nice (from the receipt, I think his name was Jamie).I had the chilaquiles with the tomatillo sauce. They were delicious. I also tried the tres leches latte, which was way too sweet.Overall, this place is okay! Areas of improvement would be in the attentiveness of servers and offering different sweetness levels for their lattes. I definitely want to come back to try some of the other items on the food menu.“

“Passing through the area and decided to stop by for brunch after seeing great reviews on here and let me tell y'all.. THIS IS A GEM. Food was amazing, had the chilaquiles and a pork omelette, 10/10. They offered a spicy Chile oil that was delicious and packed some heat!! (I'm a spicy kinda girl just sayin) and the service really went above and beyond! Everyone from the owners to the staff members are super personable. I just moved closer to El Paseo and am hoping they open one closer to me. No other coffee around compares!“

“My first time here this morning- I cannot recommend this restaurant enough! There's seating inside and outside, but I was by myself, so I chose to sit at the counter . It's like a well- oiled machine in there , friendly , efficient and the food is incredible!!“

I want to go back for seconds, but the portions they offer won't let you fit it all in. This small quiet family inspired diner has the vibe that makes you feel like you are dining at your grandma's or great aunt's house. There are no frills to distract you from the food. This location appears to be very clean for a so called "hole in the wall" type diner. An A+ for me.The staff is very quiet but very welcoming and inviting. We arrived and all the tables were full but they offered us seating at the counter. The counter is low seating, so no high chairs. As soon as some patrons were done eating, we were able to move our seating to one of their cozy booths.This location is conveniently located right off Hwy 111 on Cathedral Canyon Dr. Parking is very limited but they are next to downtown Cathedral City where a parking structure and street parking are available. Once you park, it's just a brief walk to this diner from the parking structure.Sunshine Cafe makes everything homemade and you can definitely taste it. I had the Chicken Fried Steak with hashbrowns, 2 sunny-side up eggs and the homemade country sausage gravy. This was a great flavorful dish. I was really surprised with the creamy gravy that complimented the chicken fried steak. So Good!!! The hashbrowns were fresh and the eggs were served beautifully. Also, this order comes with a side toast of your choosing. The best part is that they took it upon themselves to butter my toast before it came to the table. I was able to enjoy this meal with their fresh squeezed orange juice.My partner had the Belgian Waffle Combo. This dish comes with 1 large waffle topped with whipped cream, 2 sunny-side up eggs, and 2 large sausages, but bacon is also an option upon request. She was able to have this delicious dish with all you can drink hot coffee. They are very attentive with filling up your mug everytime you reach the bottom of the mug.Overall this is a great location to enjoy a homemade meal when you want to indulge your appetite with lots of love and sunshine. They offer a multitude of other food options, other than breakfast items. As we walked up to the diner, we were hit a with a delicious aroma of charbroiled burgers. I will definitely be back to treat myself to what I assume is a mouth watering burger and my partner, well she can come too.“

“Big fan of their 9 grain bread. So many so-called whole grain breads taste like air. Not this one! Beautiful texture, aroma (!), and flavor. Their brownies are also dense, with real chocolate taste. Oh, and what I've wanted for years: a soft ginger cookie that actually tastes like ginger!“

They have live mariachi, which pairs perfectly with an ice cold (or frozen) margarita. The margaritas were stout and delicious, none of that weird pre mixed flavor. Theirs are obviously home made. Highly recommend the mezcal margarita. We ordered the trio fajitas, which was easily enough for two. Stacked with shrimp, beef and chicken, and cooked to perfection. Wrap these up in a fresh tortilla and slap some guac and salsa in it and you'll be in heaven. Service was 10/10. Waiter checked on us very often and made sure we left happy and full. Highly recommend Casuelas. We have high standards for Mexican cuisine and this spot did not disappoint.“

The portions are plenty big for 2, or for a big hungry person. It's all homemade, so get ready for an explosion of flavors in your mouth. “This is my go to boba place! We go here at least once a week and even drive pretty far to get here since it's so good. The employees are always wonderful and the boba is very tasty. I always get the brown sugar boba milk tea, and it is always fantastic!“
