“My very first time at Jinya Ramen Bar in Studio City and everything was beyond fantastic, from the service from our waitresses Juliana and Sophie, and the food. I can’t say anything bad about this place and my experience.

“I’ve tried lots of ramen before and by far this is one of the best broths I’ve tasted. It was so creamy and full of flavor. I got the red miso ramen and it was great. The other ramens were also full of flavor and doesn’t have a water downed flavor. The staff was so freindly and nice. It gives a very personal and homey feel. Everything was nice and clean including the bathroom! They also give these free puff deserts that are filled with strawberry creme and it was a phenomenal ending. One of the staff even gave us free pocky’s as a small new year festivities.
This is definitely a lowkey, hidden spot that’s worth a try. Would recommend the ramen any day. I will be going back!“

“The meal was good ,the quality and the overall experience was excellent. The menu was similar to when I was stationed in Korea and ate at a local little restaurant . The ramen noodles were delicious. The restaurant was clean and welcoming, and the decor added to the overall cultural atmosphere. While the ramen choices aren't traditional, they are very consistent and tastes good all the same! I think they have the best tofu in ramen, it is soft and silky without falling apart. Available through doordashz grubhub and ubereats this small chain biz has an incredible creamy vegan ramen, spicy lemon grass ramen, veggie spring rolls, tofu nuggets, shishito peppers, edamame, rice bowls, salads, soups and lots of traditional Japanese and ramen dishes that will please your taste buds times two. They have some decent outdoor seating, but incredibly indoor and a huge parking lot in back. The service is always good and usually very personable. A unique Japanese cuisine eatery with some LA Valley flavor and modern plant-based flare.“

“Tried this place out as part of our monthly ramen runs.
The food did not disappoint. We got two ramens (classic tonkotsu and the shoyu ramen) the flavor of the broth and the tenderness of the meat were the highlights. We liked that this place seems to offer really good value and price for the quality of food. We also got the pork belly bowl and Philadelphia roll and they were better than I thought they would be.
We'll be back, I recommend trying this place if you're looking for a top, solid ramen joint.“

“AJ Noodles in Glendale is honestly one of my favorite pho spots. It’s a true mom-and-pop shop, and you can taste the care they put into everything. The broth is rich and full of flavor, the noodles are always cooked perfectly, and the portions are huge for how affordable everything is. You really feel like you’re getting a great deal every time.

The summer rolls are fresh, the iced Thai tea is incredibly delicious, and the staff is consistently friendly and fast. It’s a simple, reliable spot that never disappoints. If you love pho, you should definitely give it a try.“

“My friends and I visited Copan for a late lunch on a Wednesday, and we had a wonderful experience. The service and atmosphere make this a spot I would happily return to!
​The Highlights (The Great)
​Exceptional Service: The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming. We had two people checking on us—a dedicated server and another filling water—and they were all fantastic. We were seated right away with no wait.
​Wonderful Ambiance: The restaurant has a beautiful, well-thought-out, Japan-focused decor that creates a great environment for a meal.
​Menu & Clarity: I loved the menu! It was clearly organized with pictures for every item, which made ordering very easy and eliminated any guesswork. They offer a great range of options, including large sushi selection and both spicy and non-spicy ramen options.
​The Food We Loved: We tried three different ramens (one spicy, one non-spicy, and the Vegetable Ramen, which was excellent). The Jalapeño Bomb side was also a great flavor addition. Everything was filling, delicious, and satisfying.
​Areas for Improvement (The Quibbles)
​Seating Arrangement: My biggest critique is that the tables are positioned a bit too close together. We could clearly hear neighboring conversations, and unfortunately, a couple near us even seemed bothered by our chat.
​Dynamite Roll/Side: We were not fans of the Dynamite dish (shrimp, cheese, rice, and onions). It was a strange combination and we ended up not finishing it.
​Limited Drinks/Desserts: They did not offer non-alcoholic beer, and the dessert selection was very limited (only cheesecake available). (This wasn't a big deal for me, but something to note for others.)
​Final Thoughts
​We had a great time, and the quality of the ramen and the wonderful staff made the $80–90 meal well worth it for three people. We plan to return very soon to try their extensive sushi selection!

“The quick serve restaurant is clean and the staff were friendly. This is a self serve restaurant. You have to place your order on a tablet, there is no real description listed. The food came out quickly. I ordered shrimp dumplings and they were basic. They were served plain. I probably would not return based on this experience.“

“Delivery. Came for a customer's order. Asked about the order's readiness and wanted to use the restroom, but the employee rudely and mockingly forbade me to use the restroom. Judging by this attitude towards me, it is unknown what would have happened to my food if I had ordered for myself in this restaurant.“

“We came in for lunch at Kopan Sushi and had an amazing time — mostly thanks to Chris, our server. He was on it from the moment we sat down — super friendly, fast, and genuinely cared about making everything perfect. The food was great, but honestly, Chris made the experience. “I get the Chicken Ramen from this place all the time. I used to come here before it turned into a Hot Pot Place, and worried the Togo food would eventually go down hill. Nope. The food is delicious. And the hot pot is amazing. I go here all the time and they're always so nice, quick and unlike some other places they're happy to refill the sides, vegetables, and appetizers at the bar. Love this place so much!“

“My family and I stopped here after a movie and really enjoyed it. It was late on a Monday, so it was empty and got seated immediately. The atmosphere is open, with high ceilings and an outside patio. There isn't loads of seating, but a decent amount. I could imagine there being a wait if it's a busy day.
Service was friendly and checked on us a regular amount. We didn't even feel pushed out, even though we stayed close to closing.
I've never been to another SilverLake Ramen, but I really enjoyed it. I liked how the chicken was in grilled strips, that was probably my favorite part. I got the Classic one, but next time I'd try something spicier. My mom got the veggie one and really enjoyed the variety, and my dad got the chicken broth one which he found tasty but unique, because it's not common for Ramen to be made with a clear chicken broth.
Overall we really enjoyed our meal and would go again to try more items!“
