“Really great food with unique flavor profiles. The menu is designed for you to get multiple small or larger plates to share. The gnocchi with sweet corn was one of the best pastas I've ever had! The service was slow and the waiter was just ok, but the other staff were very attentive with clearing plates, filling waters, and giving us fresh silverware. Would recommend for a light dinner when you are not in a rush.“

“Had a nice lunch here. Great atmosphere in downtown Santa Monica right by the pier and across from a parking structure. The restaurant has a nice, swanky, seaside vibe. I had the ceviche and fish tacos, both of which were very good. Would recommend.“

She recommended the Lobster sliders to start and a wonder white wine which we enjoyed throughout the meal. She spaced out each course so we had some time to savor the unique and wonderful flavors which we so appreciated. The albacore cerviche was one of the best cerviche I have ever had anywhere. And the boar ragu pasta was divine. But the Tikka Massala Chicken was the most delicious presentation of chicken imaginable. We also loved the desert Allison suggested which was an unusual take on peanut butter and whipped cream and fresh berries. Just a delightful way to end the perfect night. We were looking for a place that was somewhat on the way between picking her up at LAX and dropping her off at her hotel in DTLA Little Tokyo and could accommodate food restrictions (gluten-free and vegetarian) and Akasha was all that and more! Great space with delicious food - including great GF onion rings and a fantastic GF banana walnut loaf cake that was so good that we took one home with us too! The menu was varied, interesting, and flavorful. Looking forward to coming back for dinner!“

“Loved the experience - 5 senses stimulated. Coastal jungle (?) themed decor, zen-like music, and scented smoke that fully relax us before the meal.

Creative dishes with some explosive and unique tastes. It's more on the heavy and complex side which we found inspiring, and it's probably better to go with a drink to offset (can order separately). We also tried the juice pairing - while interesting, we didn't find it enhancing the tasting menu much.

Overall, we would come back for this experience. This reminds us of the experience at Central at Lima, Peru.

Btw, they have valet parking, but we came on a Sunday and could park on the street (no parking after 6pm Mon-Sat). Otherwise available street parking is 4 blocks away.“

“From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, everything was great.

I have food allergies and they were able to accommodate me without issue. Our server, a young woman originally from Louisiana, was friendly, funny, and attentive. The indoor/outdoor vibe was spot on for a beautiful day.

The food itself was very good and just the right amount. The beer selection was varied to fit most tastes. The prices for both were in line with a mid-range restaurant in Burbank.

Being in downtown Burbank, parking was challenging for us. Even with a handicapped card I had to park over two blocks away. That was not fun but it was the same for all restaurants and shops in the area and not just Finney's - something to be aware of if you're going downtown.

I would gladly return when I'm in the area again.“

“We have been going to Horses ever since they opened since it’s right in our neighborhood. The most friendly staff with a big shout out to Amanda. The most amazing craft cocktails and absolutely delicious food. I think we’ve almost tried everything on the menu and have not been disappointed once. Can be hard to get a reservation, but we usually get there at 5:15 and are able to sit at the bar with no problem.“

The atmosphere was a vibe based on the ambiance and the awesome DJ!! My family and I were in town from Alabama and we enjoyed every minute at STK! We had filet steaks , Ny Strip, salmon, bacon mac n cheese , classic Mac n cheese, and brussel sprouts. Everything was cooked to perfection. We will definitely be back and hope to see our amazing server Brianna.“

Overall the flavors were really well balanced on this plate, and I enjoyed how you could mix & match the different ingredients to your taste. The Caesar Salad was very good, would recommend adding grilled chicken on the side. We also liked the coffee here, especially the Shaken Iced Latte!

“We recently joined this wine club and decided to stop by for happy hour to pick up our first month of wine.

We love that they have a dog friendly patio and are close to so many other wonderful restaurants on Rose.

We tried the Lambrusco, Pinot Noir, and rosé and snacked on some truffle chips.
