“If you’re reading this, here’s the short version: this is easily one of the best restaurants in Culver City, and you need to try it now!

It’s a small spot in downtown Culver City that you could walk past without noticing. I’m glad I didn’t. There are a couple of tables outside, but most of the seating is indoors. The space is modern, clean, and relaxing.

We ordered three dishes, all recommended by our waiter. The mussel toast is a must. Every bite is savory and packed with seafood flavor. For mains, we had the short rib and rainbow trout. The short rib was perfection. Cooked over fire and served with crispy potato strings. It’s something you get at high-end steakhouse but at half the price. The rainbow trout looked beautiful and tasted fresh, though the citrus was a bit stronger than I prefer.

For dessert, we couldn’t resist the churro and ice cream sandwich. The ice cream (another must try), sourced from a Persian maker, was rich with rose, honey, and pistachio. The presentation was just as impressive. The churros were decent, though I wished they were crispier and the dipping sauce was thicker.

Overall, I’d give this place a solid five stars. The food is close to Michelin quality without the Michelin prices. Go and you won’t be disappointed.“

If you’ve had about time it was similar, but smaller as well. I approve and it’s not bad. Nothing to gag about but it’s pretty good and it’s a lighter einspanner compared to other ppl“

“This is a tiny counter with serious espresso. The cappuccino art is consistently pretty, but I stay for the cheddar scallion biscuit—flaky with a soft interior. There’s a shaded sidewalk bench that’s prime for people-watching on Glendale Blvd. They remember regulars’ orders, which feels old-school. Great pit stop before hiking up to the reservoir loop“

“MAKISUPA (est 2024) is Silver Lake's brand new coffee bar located right across the street from Blair's restaurant and adjacent to Camelot School. Their indoor has an atrium-style seating area where staff serve coffee drinks. Its tranquil atmosphere definitely attenuates the stress in your work. It’s my first time here and ordered a Cold Brew. It was perfectly made to my liking.

Service was on point and staff was nice and competent. Prices were very competitive. They are open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., and weekends from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. There is a free parking behind the building and surrounding neighborhood.

Overall, I had a good experience and I recommend this coffee bar. I’ll definitely come back.“

“We loved our visit to Camel this morning. I’ve been out of the city for a while and I’m happy to see such a unique shop pop up. It reminded me of Star Wars inside ? obviously desert themed. “Republik Coffee is as solid as it gets. It has good food, good coffee, and a good ambiance, which makes it a great hang out spot.The breakfast burrito, an almond danish, and a hazelnut cappuccino. “Laveta is a super cute minimalistic cafe located close to echo park lake in Los Angeles. They have their own parking lot, which already is an A+. But since it is a small lot, there is street parking all around. They have really cool inside seating as well as outdoor seating.

They offer coffee, matcha and teas. But let’s not ignore the food they offer, which I highly recommend you try out! I’ve heard the burger is delicious but haven’t tried it because I’m obsessed with their Avacado toast! It’s literally the best Avacado I’ve had! Their coffee is good as well. I’ve had their iced vanilla latte, which you can’t go wrong with. I also enjoyed one of their signature coffee, the laveta.

“I already had a problem trying to keep myself from going to Lou's every weekend to snag one of those delicious pastries, but now I've moved to the neighborhood, and am even closer. Danger danger! Lol. I can't say enough great things about Lou - The French On The Block. As everyone says the croissants are even better than the ones in France, the lattes are fantastic, and the service is also incredibly warm and personable. “My favorite coffee spot in LA. Their Vienna latte is top tier but my favorite drink is the buttercream latte. It literally tastes like a werther’s caramel. The parking lot is TINY but there are meters around. The shop is also small with just 3 tables so it really is more of a grab and go place than a hang out.“

“Everything I’ve tried thus far is a 12/10. The iced gentle giant is sooo good if you like a cardamom spiced note. I just branched out, and tried the iced magic latte I believe with oat milk. This oat milk is top tier, no separation, it’s so smooth. The Cinnamon Roll is the best I’ve had from the tangy cream cheese frosting to the pillowy soft roll itself. Everyone there is so nice & treat you with such genuine kindness. Being new to this area, and finding a gem like this place is so comforting in this big city. “Open Market catered a wedding reception I was coordinating in October, and they were wonderful. Their restaurant is one of the bride's favorites, and they were great. The food is delicious, and I'm working on getting my husband over there soon. They couldn't have been more accommodating and flexible during the planning, and they were straight pros at the reception. As a planner, I love caterers that are easy to work with and easy for my couple's to work with, and it was a great experience for everyone.

I dropped by for a cold brew and grabbed a bag of “unique & surprising” to go and the barista shared a small cup of its cold brew for me to taste. I am glad i have tried because it was really surprised by its freshness and flavor and almost wanted to have another large cup of coffee if it’s not my first drink at that day of arrival after a 5 hr flight without a full meal😿
I followed the brew guide on the website but have cut half of the size and still get the same profile as I have had for cold brew.

“I stopped by this spot on the way to dinner over the weekend. Parking was a little limited, but there were plenty of public lots and street parking nearby. The shop is super cute, and I picked up a few cookies: Guava Cheese, KitKat Tiramisu, Ube Coconut Éclair, and Peanut Butter Banana Brûlée.

What I loved most is that they add the toppings fresh after you order! The cookies were soft, flavorful, and had a nice hint of cinnamon. My favorite was the Guava Cheese🤍

The staff were really friendly and explained each flavor. Next time, I want to try their ice cream since I saw a lot of people ordering it!!!“
