“This is one of my favorite authentic Korean restaurants. This NOT an All-You-Can-Eat (AYCE) restaurant. Those are so common but I've never been a big fan which is why I love this place. The do have the usual dishes like kalbi, bbq chicken, banchan, etc. but they also have a wide range of authentic Korean food for those who like to explore and try different things. The service is great, food is always amazing, and the place is a nice hole in the wall. Most dishes are family style especially for dinner but they also do lunch service. The cost per person varies on whether you go for lunch or dinner and if you decide to order multiple dishes to share/try. Also there's always plenty of parking.”

It's my first time here in this simple looking hidden gem and I had a great experience. They barely opened when I came so the store was clean. Their menu had so many variations of Thai food and most of them looked delicious.

I ordered the Thai coffee, shrimp and pork spring rolls, steamed pot stickers and the seafood combination fried rice with added chicken.
The Thai iced cofee were very good, although I am not really a coffee person, I liked it.
Their pork and shrimp eggrolls were not bad and the steamed pot stickers were awesome.

The fried rice came with shrimp, squid, and 4 pieces if fried fish plus I asked them to add some chicken on it. It was fantastic!
I could finish it all because the portion was generous and i only cost $40 something dollar for everything.”

But this is different, we went last night for the graduation of my daughter and always have issues on busy days but honestly top notch on how it was run. My party of 11 were accommodated to sit together even when we were told it might not happen great for the manager (should’ve gotten his name) he looked like he knew what he was doing with how busy it looked. Our server was fantastic he was on top of everything, drinks came fast and food came out warm and everyone was happy. Best experience by far when we weren’t expecting much on a night that they were for sure busy. If every day is like this we will be back soon!”

“This is one of my all-time favorite restaurants! I moved away from the area a few years ago, but I really miss this place and think of if often. My husband and I would always order the chicken teriyaki bento boxes with extra teriyaki sauce and miso soup. Such a perfect lunch! Their food is delicious, fresh, affordable, and made with care. We would order take-out from here at least once a week, especially during the pandemic. The owners are very kind and sweet, and would always remember me when I called in and picked up orders. We'll definitely be back for more bento boxes next time we're in the area!”

“Love Jo&Go Sushi. They saved me when we first moved to LA and while the house was being remodeled.

4 years later... it's still as good as first discovered. It's a neighborhood gem inside the Korean Greenland Mrkt, which btw, is also awesome.

Must try is the salmon bowl, the salmon slices are so tender and buttery... they give you a crazy amount of salmon over the rice and seriously it's enough to have a 2nd meal! One note about the bowl... I'm not a fan of drenching really good cooked rice with sauce, so I always order without the sauce. The rice is not sushi rice which makes it even more delicious... the rice is always perfectly cooked. You get a miso soup and a cute little container of pickled radish (delish). I would love to know where they source the fish... it's like being in Japan, it's so fresh.

“I stopped by V’s Grill on an ordinary evening, the kind that slips quietly into the next without leaving much behind. The parking lot was half full, the neon sign humming softly above the entrance, drawing people in from the darkness one table at a time.
Inside, the atmosphere was comfortable enough. Conversations floated through the room like distant radio stations, overlapping and fading into one another. The staff moved steadily between tables, carrying plates and glasses with practiced efficiency.
The food arrived without much fanfare. It was good, satisfying, and prepared properly. Nothing felt extraordinary, but nothing felt disappointing either. The meal did what a meal is supposed to do—it filled the space between hunger and contentment.
There are restaurants you remember for years, and there are restaurants you simply appreciate for being there when you need them. V’s Grill felt like the latter. A dependable stop along the road rather than a destination in itself.
When I left, the night looked much the same as when I arrived. The sign still glowed. Customers still came and went. Life continued quietly around it.
In the end, V’s Grill provided a pleasant enough experience. Not unforgettable, not disappointing—just a solid place to sit down, enjoy a meal, and let the evening pass by.”

“Angry Boy Burger in Van Nuys is a little restaurant that I wanted try, their food is good, cook to order, not the greatestyet good enoughfor a quick bite, their menu is typical burger joint, the staff is friendly and there's parking in the rear.”

“honestly i loved this place. we got the kalbi and it was super tender with that perfect char on the outside. the side dishes kept coming and i couldnt stop eating the kimchi, it was so good. my wife got the galbi jjim and she didnt say a word until her plate was clean. im already thinking about when we can come back next.”

“First time coming here last weekend and it was great. Great staff back of the house and front of the house. Food is very flavorful. They all have fresh squeezed juices. By far my favorite. It's a small place but it's great to have a small lunch or dinner date. I come on the weekend for brunch and we loved the chilaquiles and the birria burrito. Will definitely come back again.”

Self reminder: the suadero is good, but the lengua tacos are my fav. You can ask for the al pastor extra crispy. The strawberry agua fresca is quite sweet, even for me.”

“We had a nice existing, outdoor table stand with a weather destroyed table top. I shopped on the internet for a nice, teak table top. Restaurant Seating Barn Furniture had a good selection of teak table tops at good price points. We ordered a 36” round, teak table tops at and we really like it. It arrived in short order and the quality was nice. I teak oiled the top and bottom. It turned out fabulous!”
