“Had a appointment at 12 with the traffic and another company holding me up. I got to their facility 2 hours after my appointment time. They had no problem with that got me right on a door and was loaded with in a hour. This place is a little tight to back into but it's a straight back off the street just have to time the light right and hopefully the people in the cars will stop and give you a couple of minutes to get yourself setup for the straight back from the street.“

“The best “Chinese food” (in this case, actually Szechuan) in all of LA. This place has been around for years and it’s actually gotten better since Covid. Large shareable portions, reasonable prices, great service (they even pack up your to-go), and most importantly legit awesome flavors. The green beans are a favorite, and we recently loved the cold green pepper oil chicken and veggies on skewers and tomatoes with egg. You can’t go wrong here.“

“This meal was the highlight of our LA trip! I don’t know what kind of sorcery is afoot here but this little spot manages to be so much more than the sum of its parts. I felt so welcomed from the moment I stepped through the door and I liked that they have you order and pay before sitting down, it makes the dining experience more relaxing and low key. Loved how short and sweet the menu was, the chef has incredible restraint and a crystal clear vision. Every single thing we had was incredible, the best hk french toast and bolo bao I have ever had, and omg the scallion roll and dumplings. I don’t know what it is about this place but I’m still thinking about that meal days later. Also, the dining room made me feel like I was in a tvb serial from the early 90s which is the highest compliment.“

“Had lunch at Jade Wok near Chinatown and honestly, it hit the spot. The standout for me was definitely the sweet and savory spareribs. They’re sticky, flavorful, and perfectly tender with just a bit of chew. Exactly how you want Chinese-style spareribs to be. The glaze is rich and garlicky with a nice hint of sweetness, and the green onions and sesame seeds on top gave it a nice little pop.

We also got the stir-fried greens, which were super simple but fresh and cooked just right. A little crunch, a little tenderness + great as a balance to the heavier dishes.

And the braised tofu with minced pork came in a deep, savory sauce that soaked into the tofu beautifully. The tofu was fried just enough to give it some texture on the outside while staying soft inside. Super comforting.

It’s not a fancy spot, but the food comes out hot, portions are generous, and everything tastes like it was cooked with care. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area and want that classic Chinese comfort food vibe.“

“A great little gem. We stopped in for dinner - not especially hungry due to late lunch but knew we needed to eat something. We split the cucumber salad - so fresh and tasty, a little sweet, a little salty. It’s sold as a small appetizer but, easily splittable. Then pork potstickers and veggie pancakes - eight of each, so plenty to share and also very tasty. Definitely would go back. Friendly attentive service to round out a great find.“

“Back in February, my significant other and I visited California, and one of the absolute highlights of our trip was the incredible Chinese food we had. “Dinner with my buddies here at this hotpot restaurant ordered non spicy soup bases as one of my buddies can not take spice. Overall, the food is ok. The soup was non bad, and the food choice was ample. Does fulfill the craving for hotpot. Since it the States so we were happy to find this.

Will say: been there, saw and tasted it, and a lot, as I may say, and much to the dismay of my doctor who is in my back to lose a few pounds. Quite a few, as I may add, which is why my wife and I walk ten thousand steps per day, where- and whenever we can - and explore a lot of new exciting places - places you may oversee when just driving by. While I love to share my experience with others, I am sometimes shocked at how people use their "power of the word" to down-rate amazing places because of minor incidents (in my all-time favorite​ restaurant Le Petit Four on Sunset Plaza the owner was even called a racist as he refused to toast the (free) bread in his packed restaurant - they simply do not offer toasted bread, as no French​ place does, as I may add). Or I just read "Chicken piccata so over-salted I hope the dog enjoys the leftovers tomorrow, I brought home most of the dish." Did they speak to their service? How could the restaurant learn that something was wrong when patrons even have their leftovers​ boxed to take home? As a dog owner,​ I want to take the writer and shake him or her really bad and say "You give over-salted food to your dog? Anyone with a bit of brain understands this is a horrible idea...​ I hope you agree.So If I had a say on this portal, I would offer just to see the ratings of my friends. So I would see what the ratings were by like-minded people. Sadly, I have no say. I try not to compare apples with oranges. A place like this does not correspond to "The Ritz". I can't get over these egg noodles in this wonton mein! seems like most places serve it up clumped together and you need to split your chopsticks to break them apart - BUT NOT HERE. they are silky and bouncy! and the soup is nicely flavored, enhancing everything in the dish. you also get four big wontons filled with plump shrimp and pork. I also love their hainan chicken, well seasoned, and the filet mignon has a nice kick.

Nice selection of traditional asian dessert options in individual serving sides (tofu pudding with ginger syrup, "che thai", ube tofu, etc.) and they also sell their wontons/dumplings frozen + noodles in packages.

“This restaurant is very affordable, every dish looks big and is packed with great flavors.

If you come to this place with a group, there is a mandatory tip so don't get surprised by that (it will be included in your check).

I got various items from the menu, some of the highlights were the garlic and shrimp fried rice and the Chinese sausage fried rice.

The service was great and included tea. My party kept drinking hot tea and the waitress was always on top of it and refilling it. Even when we finished our meal and we were just chatting amongst each other, the waitress still offered tea, it was a very nice gesture and made us feel welcome to stay more.

Pending on how much you eat, I recommend getting the number of plates = the number of people in your party. If you cannot finish everything, they offer boxes to take out the rest of your food. I recommend dining in, it is clean and spacious.

The only bad thing is that some members of my party went to the bathroom and it was not clean, one of them even said that it ruins part of the experience. For the owner: Please clean the restroom, it would have been a perfect experience.“

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Lee's BBQ & Boba Chinese Food. I was thoroughly impressed! The flavors are absolutely delicious, with each dish prepared perfectly. The meats are tender and flavorful, and the variety of options on the menu made it hard to choose just one. “I googled "best Chinese in LA" and then this popped up as the #1 place. So we drove - and had a very good meal. However, if you expect the classic Chinese dishes, you will be disappointed. This is Shezuan, "a different animal". So no rice, no sweet-and-sour-this-and-that. So be prepared for very spicy Szechuan food. Noodles. No rice. Try the dumplings, they were delicious. We ordered mild (1 out of 5 spice degrees) and we were burning inside (we had two separate orders of dumplings - but spice grade 1. There is no consistency, so be careful). So if spicy is what you are "in" for, you'll love it. The ambiance is sort of authentic ;-) - the sign on how to use the toilet (outside the restaurant in the alley) says more than words. But then, it was $100 all-in for the four of us only. My advice: I could barely understand the service language. Better check the menu before you go. As we were first-timers, I wanted to share three starters and three mains among the four of us and leave it up to the waitress to make us explore - she did not understand. I asked if they served beer. The answer was "noodles or dumplings". :-)“

“I keep coming back for the veggies. The green beans and the seaweed with tofu is the best. Their knife-cut noodles with mushrooms have this fantastic smoky flavor—though the portion is a little small. Thankfully, you can swap in brown rice if you prefer.
The Salt & Pepper Tofu is a standout—crispy on the outside without being overly breaded—and the Spicy Pork Dumplings are just the right level of heat.

Pro tip: Parking is easier across the street if you’re cool with a short walk.

“TL;DR BBQ Pork Buns are 5 stars. Every other dish I've had is 3 stars.

I've had 4 dishes from here: Chop Suey, Kung Pao Chicken, Snow Peas and Water Chestnut, and BBQ Pork Buns (Dim Sum)

To be honest, I can only recommend the BBQ Pork Buns, but I recommend it highly. It is the best dim sum pork bun you are going to get in Glendale. The filling has a lot of flavor and isn't too dry, and the bun is very soft and fluffy.

The other dishes were okay. I don't expect them to be authentic, but across the board, they generally just lack flavor, which puts them below other Chinese restaurants in Glendale for me.

It is really great that they have a couple dishes with water chestnut though. So for this fact, and the quality of the BBQ Pork Buns alone, I'm giving them 4 stars.

I would like to go back and try a few more dishes. Hopefully my review improves“
