“Pretty good option, I was so glad they have tons of vegan options! This is a great place
to eat if you are vegan but have a meat eating friend they have something for everyone. I just got a bahn mi but hope to come back for more. It tasted way better than the pic I took. Service was a little slow but supposedly they make everything from scratch.“

“Had an order of Pho Tai and egg rolls. This was some of the best pho I've had. The egg rolls were great and crispy, especially with the sauce included. They have an amazing Vietnamese coffee, it was strong with a great flavor too. This is going to be a consistent place to get pho from.“

“Decided to pass by tomorrow and see how good the pho is because I know som great pho place is Alhambra. They had different item I wanted to try but my focus was on the pho. I order sat down , 5 mins later the food arrived. A good pho must have a good broth , it was ok ,I give it 3/5 the pho noodles was right on the money , but will say to a bit more noodles lol feel like it had a bit less or maybe I ate it fast and I didn't notice it 😂😂😂 the beef was nice and tender but also feel like it was a bit of beef 😂 who knows 😏 didn't taste that much spices on the broth. Or maybe this is how they make there pho broth. Overall 4/5 because I still enjoyed it ,the Thai tea was good also wasn't that sweet like other place they give you Thai tea and it felt like it was Thai tea leaf not that podwer Thai tea. I recommend you guys to come give it try , we all have different taste , you may like it or not , it all depends on you. I know I'm coming back to try their other items that good my attention 👀“

“For all you vegans and vegetarians out there, the tofu banh mi is SPECTACULAR. Don’t sleep on O Bahn Mi. Great lunch at an old school price. Might be two lunches depending on your appetite! Limited seating but you can usually snag a spot. Thai coffee is sweet and has that caffeine kick.“

“Lord jesus… the pork belly banh mi is god level. I’m not Viet but to me it’s on par with Carrot & Daikon in OC, which is considered the best in little saigon.
It’s a bit pricier, which is just LA tax. The homemade pickled veggies are very fresh. Thank you Hoa Phat, I don’t have to make the 1 hr drive to OC anymore“

“Michelin Star Bound! Freshest spring roll my lips have ever tasted. The wagyu melted in our mouths, refreshing sake, dumplings to die for. We will be back, again and again. Best part: they pay their employees well and are a no tipping establishment. Best date night ever!“

“I love this pho spot! The ambience is great. The customer service is speedy and you are immediately given a warm welcome as you step in. The food is also really good (although I’ve only ever ordered number 4, the steak and brisket pho 👌🏽). I did try a bit of the shrimp pho when my mom ordered it, and it was good, but I’m more into beef than seafood, so that’s just personal preference. Definitely check it out. This was where I tried pho for the first time and it hits the spot every time.“

“It's not the best banh mi around, but certainly the best price/quality ratio in Alhambra. The line can be long and you can order ahead (phone), but if you just drop by around noon. Expect a bit of a wait. The owner speaks English, Vietnamese and Cantonese, so walk in with no fear. Coffee is excellent here too.“

“I made a trip to this spot after seeing the great reviews, and overall was ok. The restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere, and the service was pleasant.
We ordered the ribs combo pho and the brisket and meatball pho — both bowls had a solid, flavorful broth that hit the spot. The ribs wasnt that amazing. The egg rolls were crispy and well-seasoned. Thai tea was also great.
My main gripe is the meat portions felt a little skimpy for the price — I expected a bit more generosity in the bowl. At around $60 for two people, it’s on the pricier side for pho, which did temper the experience slightly.
That said, the quality is clearly there. If the portions were bigger or the price a touch lower, this would be an easy five stars. Worth a visit, but go in with calibrated expectations on value.“

“Delicious, fresh food with a smile! Bread is fresh, noodle dishes are so filling, and the pizza was decadent with cheese and a great crust. Korean corn dog ear perfectly fried with a little sweetness. Only 7 counter seats so we did take out. Will definitely return when I'm the neighborhood!“

“Nem Nướng Khánh Hoà is widely praised for its authentic Vietnamese cuisine and warm atmosphere. The restaurant’s specialty is nem nuong cuon, a dish of grilled pork meatballs wrapped in rice paper and served with fresh herbs and vegetables. The dish stands out for its flavorful, fresh grilled pork and the crunchy texture of the accompanying ingredients“

“Great banh mi sandwich in Chinatown especially for the price ($6). I certainly would not have discovered it if it weren't for yelp, as the location is certainly no frills and small and easy to miss if you are not looking for it. Note that the place is cash only and there is no place to eat it, so don't plan on coming here if you wish to dine in.
Tip: Also not too far from the China Town Metro Station (A-Line) if you want to walk from there.“

“Wanted to check this place out with my boyfriend. It was poppin on a Saturday night, which is a good sign. We got the house eggrolls, the Kobe syle beef pho and the Filet Mignon pho with the original noodle (you have an option for a fresh fatter noodle) Beyond delicious!!! The broth and meat was so flavorful
The service was very fast. I have a sensitive stomach so I probably should have avoided the egg rolls because I dont do well with certain oils and fried food but they were so freaking good. Definitely recommend this spot for amazing pho. The other dishes people were ordering that I was able to see looked really good too.“

“This is my second time here at Simply pho you. I didn’t find the time to write a review then but this time I made the time. Food was great! We ordered a shrimp fried rice to share, I got a combo pho and my wife got a tendon pho. We are very critical about our pho and this place did not disappoint. The last time we had great pho was in Hawaii on our honey moon and this place definitely hit close to our expectations. Service was also good, but I can say that I waited for the check for a little too long but it wasn’t terrible. Love this place and definitely recommend.“

“Update: I used to love and recommend this place but idk whats going on and its sad, the broth which is the main point is always 50/50 now. When its good its really good but when they miss sometimes its flavorless or super sweet as opposed to originally packed with flavor and all around balanced on bone flavor, spice herb packed, and sweet. Please follow old recipe or something. Still the pork spring rolls are a must have with the peanut sauce no matter what!“

“Back in October, my friends and I spent a month vacation in Vietnam and we were introduced to Com Tam. We wanted to see if King Com Tam Vietnamese Restaurant is as authentic as we had in Vietnam.
Com tam - Vietnamese broken rice is rice that was broken during the milling process. If you're unfamiliar, broken rice has a couscous-like texture. The broken rice plate options might seem extensive, but it's just rice with various combinations of pork chop, beef, pork, fried bean curd with shrimp paste, egg roll, sausage, shredded pork and skin, and steamed egg loaf. All served with veggies, a small bowl of broth, and fish dipping sauce. The plates run from $12.99 to $20.99 for the 10-item plate. If you don't see exactly the plate combination you're looking for, you can just tell the waiter which items you want and they'll charge accordingly. Just ask if you can swap items.
Not Vietnam authentic, but then again I am no expert but definitely satisfied our cravings and brought back memories of our month long trip. We loved it so much that a month ago during the rainy weather that we went back so we can try the noodle soup/pho. The portions were generous for around $13.99 a bowl. I was craving Bun bo Hue, Vietnamese spicy beef noodle soup and my friends ordered beef pho and hu tieu, a Vietnamese Phnom Penh-style seafood noodle soup with pork and shrimp. It was good but I've had better.
Service was good. The ambiance and presentation is spot on.“

“Underrated place. The PHO Broth is CLEAR.
its so light and good, loaded with cilantro and green onions. The broth is better than Saigon Dish. The old guy is forgetful but thats because he needs to be more busy. Simple Menu when you want PHO.“

“I was always curious about sandwiches sold at pho restaurants, and this place was my first. I will say it was a fantastic sandwich. I enjoyed every crispy bite with all the veggies in the sandwich followed by the rich savory fat taste of the pork belly. The service was pretty good too, I chose a table that was “dirty”, unintentionally, and the server cleaned it before I could mention it and bought me ice cold water as if he knew I was thirsty. Everything about this little hidden spot, on the second floor of the mall, was great.“

“Me and my gf stop by here everytime when we crave bun bo hue. Not gonna lie, I got it on my top 1 for bbh in SGV. The spice hits different and not sweet like other places, while the beef slices are tender and delicious while having a good amount of noodles. This time I decided to try my favorite dish com suon (porkchop with broken rice) and it didn't disappoint, 2 big porkchops cooked to perfection, tender enough to bite the fat too, SO GOOD! Thank you Devan see you again!“

“Was around the area so decided to grab lunch and it wasn't as great as before. We ordered the seafood egg noodle and seafood white noodle, both lacked flavor. I had to add satay sauce to make it taste a bit better. The ice water glasses were dirty as well. I don't know if it's under new owners or new chefs but it wasn't that great. Good thing it was a cheap lunch.“

“Best Viet I’ve Ever Had! Just looking at my photos makes me drool. The pho broth is so flavorful and balanced. They use flat noodles as well, which I wasn’t used to but honestly might like better than the round noodles. The vermicelli was also delicious. My lychee rose juice was so refreshing, although a little too sweet but still enjoyable. Can’t recommend this place enough. A must try if you’re ever in San Gabriel.“

“Pho Filet 2 is a solid Vietnamese spot in the San Gabriel Valley if you’re craving a comforting bowl of pho. The restaurant has a casual, no-frills atmosphere where locals come for quick and satisfying meals.
I ordered the Pho Dac Biet (special beef pho), and the broth was rich and aromatic. It came with a generous portion of noodles and different cuts of beef like brisket and tendon. The meat was tender, and the fresh herbs, bean sprouts, and lime really brought the whole bowl together.
I also tried the spring rolls with peanut sauce, which were fresh and light, making a great appetizer before the pho. The portions were big and the prices were very reasonable.
Service was fast and friendly, and the food came out quickly even when the restaurant was busy. Overall, Pho Filet 2 is a great casual spot for authentic Vietnamese comfort food.“

“Went to K5 on a Friday night since we were craving some Pho (for the first time), and had a great experience. Located in the Eaglerock area (where there are not too many pho options), K5 is one of the pho options you should add to your rotation. Good service, good food (especially on a cold night), and reasonable prices. The location is pretty large, but it gets pretty crowded (at least it was when we were there). Plenty of parking since it is a large plaza. One of the better pho options in the area.
Tip: It was a little crowded on a Friday night so we had to wait a little bit before being seated (not too long, like 5 mins).“

“Super delicious!
First time I've ever tried dry rice noodle - delicious! The dipping sauce that came with it had a hint of caramel- not too sweet. Try this!
Best part: Eating this with some fries and garlic wings with Peruvian green sauce.
Plus the staff was kind + warmhearted. Definitely give this place a shot.“

“This is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants, especially when I'm craving a great chicken and rice dish. They make it incredibly well, and what keeps me coming back is the consistency. I've been eating here since high school, and the flavor has remained exactly the same over the years—a rare quality that speaks to how much care they put into their food.
The restaurant has a warm, family-owned atmosphere that makes you feel welcome every time you visit. It's the kind of place that has built a loyal customer base through good food, friendly service, and reliability. If you're looking for a comforting meal with flavors you can count on, this spot is definitely worth a visit.“

“Initially a little confusing as you need to walk closer to the back. Seating is a bit hard to get especially on busier nights. They seemed somewhat understaffed but at no fault of the servers of course. The food itself was amazing. I got the house or wagyu pho. The broth was hearty and the meat was excellent. Would come again.“

“Want PHO in San Gabriel? Look no further!
This place is the go to for that Vietnamese food crave. The PHO is excellent and the BUN #44 is always good! First of all it's owned by a Vietnamese family (that's always a win) especially when looking for Vietnamese food. The ice coffee will keep you energized for a couple of hours and is as authentic as you can get. Portions are generous and filling. Everything we've ordered here ia spot on so you can't go wrong when ordering.
The owner and staff are always super friendly. To us they are like expended family because this is our go to place when in the area. The prices are very reasonable and they have parking in the back. These mom and pop shops are what makes eating local that much more special.“

“Really good spot for takeout pho. The broth was super flavorful and still hot when I got home, which I really appreciated. Everything was packed neatly and the portions were actually pretty generous for the price.

“My sister and I were craving an afternoon coffee. We had their ice coffee with milk. It was one of the best tasting coffees I've had. The atmosphere was chill. The establishment was clean and beautifully decorated. What I do want to remark on is the staff. A young lady by the name of Jenny surprised us by offering us a sample of a spring roll with peanut sauce. The gesture was so touching and sincere that my sister and I have planned to come back the next chance we get. By the way the spring roll was delicious and fresh.“
