“Farmhouse kitchen is the best Thai restaurant I’ve ever had. On top of the food being great and delicious, the presentation makes you want to order everything from the menu. Chef Bo was so nice to come out to our table and all I can say is she was a very nice, young & talented person. She even made me a special dessert for my birthday. Thanks Bo❤️ I highly recommend this place if you want an authentic, excellent and delicious food. In addition, the place is so full of life. The decor is amazing! I can’t wait to go back and try some of the fancy drinks and dishes on the menu.“

“This place is very close to achieving what it's setting out to do: provide an elegant vegetarian dining experience. I think that might be hard to pull off in a strip mall however. The food and the art are fantastic but the interior design was poorly executed and comes off looking a little cheap. I went for my birthday but for the price this might have been a one time experience. Updated from previous review on 2024-04-06“

“This is an L.A. bar with an NYC feel…post gentrification. A good place for an intimate situation or for bein’ a gaggle of gays and theys. Not sure about the pricing as I was treated to my libations, but the service was friendly. I appreciated the attentiveness. They have high tops on one side and soft seating on the other with bar seating in between the two.“

“Located just a 15-minute walk from the Ahmanson Theatre, Maccheroni Republic is a wonderful find. The outdoor seating area is inviting, and the service is top-notch. We enjoyed the Burrata appetizer and indulged in two pasta dishes: Bianchi Neri and Pom'Amore, both of which were absolutely delicious. A perfect pre-show dining spot with great ambiance and even better food.“

“We always love visiting Propaganda and this time was no different. The 4 Formaggi & Funghi is my new favorite pizza. This time we tried the boozy pandoro dessert and even 5 days later I'm still thinking of it. Can't wait to go back!“

“We've been here for dinner and brunch. One word: Exceptional in every way: Fantastic setting. Great service. Incredible menu and delicious food. Lovely Hwood views. Perfect ambiance, design and decor. Gorgeous decks, landscaping and rooftop lounge areas, restaurant and bar. Lemon Grove is one of my favorite places in all of LA. Just go. Grab a weekend brunch, go for dinner or just for a rooftop bar lounge and and drink. (Unlike some other roof top bars/restaurants in LA, this one has zero attitude - from either the staff and crowd. Just friendly, chill and pleasant. A+“

“Such a cozy wine bar and they have good service and an intimate atmosphere overall. | P A R K I N G | Found parking along the street which was really convenient. Since it's located off 3rd street you'll find plenty of metered parking options, especially if you come a bit early. | S E R V I C E | Great service overall. Our waitress gave wonderful descriptions of both wine and food. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and great at what she does. | F O O D | Items we ordered were the olives and almonds ($10), crab fettuccini ($38), and the mussels ($28). *Olives were really tasty and not too salty. *Almonds have seasoning on them. *The crab fettuccine has a savory base as opposed to a cream base and is pretty tasty and fresh. * Mussels were okay and had to go back (a few had an odd taste) And some wine of course. They have one bottle of rose and it's pleasantly dry and not very sweet. Also fairly priced at $60.“

“This is the best vegan Italian food I've ever had. Caprese salad got the flavors and textures exactly right. Calzone was delicious, and the cacio e pepe was exactly right. Tiramisu was a lovely end to the meal. Since going vegan almost 20 years ago I have never had this kind of authentic food done so well. Atttentive service too.“

I really loved the matzo ball soup special during Passover, I would say it's the best matzo ball soup I've ever had. Wonderful wines by the glass. Amazing pita bread. Love the current special hummus with sweat potato.“

“Angelini Osteria totally lived up to the hype! We had a great dinner there that night and I can't wait to go back again soon. Let's start with the star of this show: uni pasta. Oh my gosh, it was divine! The uni was so fresh and creamy and the pasta itself was cooked just right. Every bite was an explosion of flavor. We also tried the baked lasagna and it was delightful. The layers were perfectly balanced and each bite was full of rich, savory flavors. Let's not forget dessert! We shared a few different things and they were all great. The tiramisu was fluffy and decadent and the chocolate mousse was rich and smooth. Overall, Angelini Osteria is definitely a must-try for Italian food lovers in Los Angeles. The food is incredible, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. We can't wait to come back and try more dishes on the menu!“

“Hidden away in the city of Los Angeles is this amazing bar that serves one of the tastiest omakase. Entering the bar, you see a bar top that seats approx 10-12 people, with a open kitchen vibe. My partner and I had a great time. The Sunday crew was very nice and attentive, engaging with the customers and making things fun! The selection of fish was amazing, definitely a different experience compared to other omakase establishments I've been to.Parking was very easy since they provided easy simple instructions on their website :). Will definitely visit again on a Sunday ??Parking: Easy to access garage and the elevator close by. Very nice :)“

“My daughter recommended this place so we gave it a try. There was only a handful of people there… it was a Tuesday. We sat in the outdoor area. We ordered two different veggie pizzas and bread sticks (kinda pricey). There wasn’t much to choose from on the menu. The food was more like an appetizer size serving but It was delicious. I have nothing negative to say about the taste of the food or the atmosphere. However, the parking was insane. We parked directly at the curb next to the entrance of the outdoor eating area. It’s metered parking. We had to add coins every 15 minutes… it only allowed 15 minutes before it capped out ?. I’ve read others say it was an hour meter, well it wasn’t the day we visited. I set a timer on my phone (a ticket would have ruined my day).It was a nice restaurant. I experienced it once but I’m sure I won’t come again.“

“I really enjoyed this place. I was looking for a spot to work on my wedding planning and a lot of cafes were closed (since it was 4pm) and had this place pinned. Parking is.... Minimal. It was quite full for an early Tuesday. The wine bar is fantastic. Menu is cute, happy hour has fun selections and the music was top notch.“

“When there a week after Valentine's Day. The location is right under the Chinatown metro station which was kind of cool. They have a parking lot but street parking was plentiful. They sat us by the bar and the server station and we could hear the food expediter apologizing for being late and the owner being super chill about it. Without missing a bit, he went right up to the pass and got to work. The food was awesome with one exception - the Escargot was too herby and not garlicky enough for my taste. They had a very good wine list, the service was super friendly and the owner chatted us up. We will be back.“

“As a Filipino, I love the different concepts they have with different Filipino dishes. We started off with the beef tartar and pork belly sisig. All I could say was w o w. Beef tartar was amazing and I've never had a garlic sky flake before. The flavors complimented perfectly. I'm not usually a pork person, but their sisig was cooked to perfection! So much flavor and had the perfect crisp. For our main dish we had the chicken inasal. The chicken was sooo tender and fell right off the bone! We also ordered each one of their sauces and I can't even pick out my favorite. They all had their own unique flavor. I'm already thinking about my next visit at this restaurant. The ambience, the service, and the food are all 10/10. Highly recommend!!“

“I made a Resy reservation to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Street parking was accessible and convenient a few steps away from the location. Once we walked in, I was greeted by first name by the host behind the bar who directed us to follow Lisa, our server, to our table for two in the garden patio. Once seated, she asked if we'd like to turn on the heated lamp, which we appreciated. We ordered the Hunan BBQ Pork Ribs (so meaty and smoky), Chilled Sesame Peanut Noodles (which my wife commented would be an ideal dish during a warm summer night), Lemongrass Chicken Banh Mi (served on a toasted, pillowy brioche bun), paired with a side of the Shoestring Fries. Lastly we enjoyed an unexpected gift from the kitchen - Shanghai Triple Onion Noodles, which was a warm dish in contrast to the other cold noodles. As a thoughtful gesture, the bartender, offered us two glasses of champagne to acknowledge our occasion. To cap off our unforgettable meal, we ordered the Hochija Tres Leches and Honeymoon Bread Pudding. The perfect conclusion to a delicious and well-thought out dinner. For a location with a history dating back to the prohibition era (informed by Lisa), I'm glad to see it's continuing it's life as a bar with an innovative kitchen. As I mentioned last night, the dinner was great but the service was even better! Thank you for making our anniversary dinner memorable :)“

“I’ve visited the WeHo location but tried the Silverlake one and was NOT disappointed. The Cacio e Pepe pizza is one of the best pizzas I’ve had in my life. (Although, I have not been to Italy)I think about that Parmesan creama often lol.But I literally drove an hour to have this pizza. The server was attentive, gave thoughtful (and delicious) recommendations, and made for a great experience.Note: Parking sucks - but where does it not in LA? I found a spot on the street but there is also metered parking as well.TL;DR - Exceptional pizza and good service. True S tier pizza.“

“Nossa Caipirinha Bar offers an authentic Brazilian experience right in the heart of Los Feliz. My partner and I recently indulged in a late-night adventure at this vibrant establishment, and we were thoroughly impressed. From the moment we entered, we were greeted by the lively beats of Brazilian music, instantly transporting us to the streets of Rio. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with warm décor adding to the immersive experience. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the cocktails. Each drink was meticulously crafted with quality ingredients, perfectly capturing the essence of Brazilian flavors. Whether it was the classic caipirinha or one of their signature creations, every sip was a delight for the senses. As the night progressed, the bartender recommended we try Brazilian fernet, and we're glad we did. “Had to stop by my favorite Italian grubbin in the heart of Old Town Pasadena all the way from Boise. This was my 3rd time and each time just keeps getting better; definitely the bigger the party, the better. We paid $225 for 4 pasta entrees, 3 appetizers, & 2 glasses of wine for a party of 6. I’ve learned to like my pastas al dente after having them here. The meatballs are banging, the wine-pairing was delightful. Our service was attentive and pleasant; the vibe is always vibrant and homey. Highly recommended.“

“Serving some of the best seafood in Pasadena! Situated at the heart of beautiful Old Town Pasadena, Fishwives is a solid spot if you're looking for variety and a bit of a change from your usual American greasy food.Their ceviche is outstanding and so fresh; the fried oysters on devilled eggs were incredibly flavourful and cooked to perfection - with the right amount of crunch; the lobster roll was scrumptious with chunks of lobster meat in every bite; and their fish and chips were outstanding - featured a great crispy batter paired with their excellent fries. Everything that we ordered was great plus service was spot-on!Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for seafood in the Pasadena area.“

“This is my favorite wine bar near Hollywood.I was told by a friend who lives locally that this is a great wine bar that tourists never get to visit. The food is delicious, the atmosphere inside the restaurant is stylish, and it makes me smile to see each customer having a wonderful time, making the meal enjoyable.I came here by myself, worked on my computer, read a book with a glass of wine, went on a date with friends or as a couple, everything was a wonderful space. All the wines taste extremely delicious. The atmosphere is also very good. The staff's customer service is also very polite and kind, and I definitely want to come back! The white wine I ordered was so delicious that I bought it as a souvenir ?There is also a wine shop attached, and if you can buy what you drank at the shop, there is also a large selection of organic wine produced in California, so I think you can choose and buy there.Anyway, it's a very nice wine bar! It's my favorite! “How could I forget about this beautiful restaurant for months since my first visit with girl friends last September? I am so glad I suddenly remember this restaurant last Saturday, the first day of the Chinese new year! The interior decoration is perfect for Chinese new year! This is My family's first time visit! They all love it! Perfect for pictures! It is a shame for not many people knowing this place, because they are only two tables occupied during our 1.5 hour visit. The only waitress is Miss Iris from Taipei. She is super nice and friendly! Fortunately, when we left, there were two parties coming in! We love the food maybe because the owner and the chef are from my hometown Taiwan, according to the waitress! The presentation is so beautiful! Perfect for my Facebook postings! I already told my college girlfriends about our next reunion location! Here! Perfect for our group pictures!“

“Fabulous place. we really loved the service, the atmosphere, and the food. Everyone's food was delicious, especially the brussels sprouts!. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is that my chopped salad sounded much more exciting on paper than the actual product. It was basic and disappointing so I will order something else next time. However, appetizers and other entrees were delicious.“

“This was a great evening of dinning from beginning to end! Like many LA facades, this one seems unassuming from its exterior but as soon as you enter the black iron gated door and into the restaurant you are greeted by an ambiance so inviting! There’s a bar/lounge off to the right (which I have to check out next time), adorned with intimate seating, plush couches, and a centralized bar in the space. We sat outside on the patio and had such excellent service from Mandy! The wines were delicious (had the sparkling and chilled red), butter and bread to start as well as the caesar salad and tuna tartar. Then for our mains we enjoyed the rigatoni and the spring lasagna. Omg, wow!! It did not disappoint. The coursing was done to perfection and we were very pleased with everything!!After dinner, my date went to the restroom and I had an impromptu conversation with the owner, Laurie, who was very personable. We will definitely be back again, and again!“

“French wine bar in DTLA - definitely a hidden gem tucked away in a mall (?) entrance but absolutely worth the visit. Well-curated wine list, almost exclusively French staff who will charm you away with their wittiness and hospitality. We specifically enjoyed the scallops with black truffle and the garlic bread (sorry but it’s too die for). Can also recommend the escargot if you enjoy the texture - the taste was on point. Would definitely recommend for a laid back dinner vibe with friends“

“This has been always been one of my favorite bars in LA, but has gotten even better over the last few years with the new patio area. Great selection of beer, wine, kombucha, etc., solid bar food, and the staff is always helpful and willing to let you do a taste of something before ordering. Wanted to also chime in regarding H.R.'s one star review of the bar. We were outside that night as well, and her telling of events is hilariously untrue. She assaulted a patron, threatened a second patron, poured a beer on a third patron, and was finally asked to leave by staff. Her husband also threatened our table despite us not being a part of the kerfuffle she started with the people at the table next to us. It was definitely an eventful night, but the staff handled the situation well given how unruly she and her party were.“

“Cordova Cafe & Bottleshop isn't called Cheers, but it certainly could be - the "neighborhood hangout" vibe here is amazing! “Exactly the kind of quirky, hip, establishment in the middle of an industrial area that could easily go viral. The wine is great, cheese pairings are awesome, and the atmosphere is casual. It is the opposite of Napa/Sonoma wine venues in a fun way. Service is very friendly and the location is perfect for small family or business get-togethers (there are even private party rooms). Not crowded and parking is free in private lot. Go before it is discovered by the media.“
