“I had a great first time experience at noodle nest. I came in craving some lamb cumin skewers and ended up ordering few other items as well. The service was super friendly and everything came out very quickly. The restaurant is pretty big overall and has iPad ordering which I like.

Marinated cucumbers: pretty standard with a big kick from the peppers. 8.5/10

Black pepper beef udon: noodles perfectly cooked with tender beef and a nice flavored sauce. 9/10

Lamb skewers: well seasoned and crispy and pretty tender. It hit the craving I was looking for. I would order double next time. 9.5/10

Sweet and sour pork riblets: pretty good, but I suppose the pork could have been slightly more tender for my preference (still came off bone) and the meat on the ribs were a little bit tiny. I would still order these again but just nitpicking. 8.5/10

Overall, I was pretty happy with my first experience here and I would definitely come back to try more things and get more skewers. Again shoutout to the manager and staff who was super nice and welcoming, we were definitely the only white boys in there 😀.“

“Had the best food at Smoke Queen Barbecue: the tri tip, chicken, sausage, ribs, and delicious sides were all fall off the bone fantastic. Try the sesame slaw with spicy cucumbers, macaroni and cheese and fries. We loved the banana pudding, bread pudding, beers on tap, all with a great smile and playground to enjoy with our family. If you haven’t tried Smoke Queen Barbecue, you are missing out. So scrumptious!“

“I personally love their jajangmyeon. The best jajangmyeon I ever had was at Yong Moon Lu @ Rowland Heights (please try their gan-jajangmyeon/간짜장), but this one is pretty good too. The jjamppong is not bad either.

“Wow, they really do fill up the box where it'll barely close. I thought it was fake and just for social media ads. I had the kung pao chicken, orange chicken and noodles. Noodles were a little bland but still decent. The entrees though were as good as you'd expect from a chinese take out place. It's honestly 3x the portion size of panda express for the same price. This is my go to place for chinese take out now.“

“Absolutely delicious lamb chops with rice! I’ve been here many times, and the flavor is consistently excellent. I’m from Inner Mongolia, so I have pretty high standards when it comes to lamb — and this place definitely satisfies my craving. The lamb is flavorful, tender, and cooked really well. “Dined in for lunch as a group of 20 plus friends. Wonderful food, the meat soup filled 10 bowls, the special tea also filled 10 cups, each dish was large and ample for sharing.

“I’m really glad we found this place, and it’s highly recommended if you are slightly adventurous and trying out some ethnic Chinese flavors.

Everything we ordered was excellent. We knew the crispy lamb buns (aka Chinese Burger) was going to be good, but not sure about the $20 fried pork which was #1 chef recommendations, it turned out to be delightful.

The lamb soup came out first, it was tasty and refreshing, Liang pi was cool, you don’t get it in many places. String beans were nicely done, a delicious necessity to balance out the meal.

The first bite of crispy lamb buns was a delightful surprise: crunchy layered thin bread and lamb with slightly cumin, it was an amazing feast.

Fried pork is an even more interesting surprise that I would not spoil. Ha ha. Try it to find out!

Service was fine, we were seats and water was provided quickly. Orders are done by scanning QR code, browsing the online menu, and order directly. I find this efficient but lacking some personal interactions.

We did purposely ordered a lot for the two of us, we obviously didn’t finish. I was surprised the bill wasn’t as much as I expected. We got a lot of leftovers to go and enjoyed rest at home.“

The bottom is hard and crunchy and the top is soft, making a soup filled bao in either seafood, curry or the standard pork. They sell them in quantities of 6 and 2 to 3 is enough to fill me! Highly recommend a quick lunch or dinner here, you won’t be disappointed in the authentic flavors.“

I've got a couple others closer to home, but this is worth the couple extra minute drive as the orange chicken and general tso's were both very good. The orange chicken was crispy, had a good orange flavor, and wasn't overly sweet or covered in a sticky sauce, just good flavors and a nice crispy skin. The general tso's delivered just a hint of heat and other good flavors. The chow mein is pretty standard fare. But the portions were great for both the 1 item and 2 item combos I got and I'll be back.“

“This is a new restaurant has a nice decor and comfortable seating. We ordered Peking duck (no reservation needed), Peking duck soup, and a set meal of steamed shrimp with garlic and vermicelli. “The best spicy Chinese Food in OC/LA area hands down! They have been Michelin recommended for a reason. Their food has lots of depth of umami flavors with a good amount of spice with a refined touch. Their none spicy broths are especially good too. My faves are their dry pots, toothpick lambs, Qiao Jiao Beef. We also like their spicy ribs and boiled fish in chilli sauce, and Mao cai. Service is great too!“

“The food was great, the orange chicken was juicy while the beef and broccoli was savory. The staff are really friendly too. Jason had seen that he was out of orange chicken and offered to make more with only 20 minutes until closing. He’s is super friendly and welcoming of customers and I high recommend checking this place out“

“EverSpring had only recently opened, so I stopped by to give it a try. I originally came for the beef knife-cut noodles, but the lamb bread soup and crispy rougamo ended up being the biggest surprises.

The broth was flavorful without being greasy, and the lamb was tender with no strong gamey taste. The rougamo was hot, flaky, and filled with plenty of meat—we liked it enough to take another one home. The knife-cut noodles were thick and chewy, with large pieces of tender beef in almost every bite.

The menu has a nice mix of Northwestern specialties and familiar Chinese comfort food, so it’s an easy place to visit with a group. A friend tried the crispy beef on a previous visit and really liked it, so that’s already on my list for next time.

There’s plenty of free parking outside, and the dining room feels bright, clean, and comfortable. The weekday lunch special also makes the prices very reasonable.

The staff kept our water filled, brought everything out promptly, and checked in to make sure the flavors worked for us. Attentive without hovering—which I really appreciated. A very solid new option near Irvine.“

“I ordered the chicken leg meat with dipping sauces and broth. Honestly, the chicken was great on its own. I didn't care for any of the sauces. The rice was a bit salty but still good.

The setup felt a little odd. There was a loud speaker on loop reminding Uber and DoorDash drivers to pick up orders in the back. It was super annoying. I really think they would benefit from having a host instead of relying on that speaker.

That said, the place itself was cool, and I liked that you can order from several different shops all through the same kiosk.“

“Took my e-bike Huntington Beach Pier stopped here fountain valley to get some orange chicken/fried rice with a drink. Under $15 took e-bike battery charger inside backpack. And e-bike battery in my hand. This place has four or five outlets by the seating tables. They didn't tell me I couldn't charge my battery. So I plugged it in well I eat my food. 1 hour later put battery back on my bike and took off. This food is excellent. Nice size portion orange chicken is the bomb. “Food is delicious!!! We went during lunch on a Tuesday and it was pretty full. Most were Chinese. You know the food is authentic when their own people are there. I just found this place recently and now I've become a fan. Their Xiao long bao is huge and so good. People say they are a din tai fungus dupe but with better prices. Also their beef scallion pancake was humongous and sooooo good. We also got their orange chicken which was one of the best I ever had. Everything we got here was so good.
