“They’re made to order $1 Taco Tuesday is a tradition in my house! That’s also because our cook (me) gets a break. Everyone in my family loves Taco their Tuesday, even my dog knows what “Taco Tuesday” means and gets excited!
Their tacos are great, very authentic Mexican street food-style. Casual. Limited seating; mostly takeout.
Not strictly Gluten-Free because they have wheat-based flour tortillas or bread for burritos and tortas. So, dicey for celiacs.
Vegetarians should be fine, vegans OK with rice, beans, and tortillas. They can do veggie tacos and tortillas, just like in Mexico, except, there, every is Taco Tuesday.“
“First visit, weeknight, not crowded. Food very good to excellent. Beet trio appetizer superb. Not clear if the 3 dipping sauces were for beets or brisket but good either way. Fiancee had wagyu burger, excellent. I had the combo plate…brisket a tad dry, fried chicken very good, corn bread muffin & cole slaw great. Extensive wine list, top labels. We shared a flight and each had a glass of bubbly. Portion size good … I had leftovers for breakfast. Server Jeff casual but on the ball with advice. Menu somewhat limited, especially for vegans.“

“This place was the single redeeming thing in the area. I got stuck in this commercial cesspool for four and a half hours and wandered around for 3 of them trying to find decent food worth the price or some store that wasn't marked up for garbage. No dice. Finally found this place tucked away, so thankful. Had a couple drinks and chatted with old locals. Definitely support this place. In general I'll be avoiding the area but if I ever find myself there again I'll definitely go in for a drink and to get a brake from the depressing retail area outside.“

From their complete package and pricing (limit the number of vendors you need!), to our phenomenal tasting experience, to their IMPECCABLE service the day of, they are top-notch across the board. They flawlessly executed everything we asked of them. The food was absolutely delicious. They made sure everyone was served so no one was ever hungry nor thirsty. Gina is an absolute GEM of a human and Chef Robert knows how to make a mean meal. Everyone at our event was so pleased with their food and how kind and helpful all their servers were. “Randomly stopped in on my way home from work, the guy behind the bar was super nice. I ordered an Italian sausage smash burger, if was great. Also ordered some fries which were crispy and fresh. No complaints, I don't drink but the bar seemed to be full of regulars. I'll definitely be back!“

The food is truly authentic Italian — the pasta was incredible, the kind of meal that reminds you of a home-cooked Sunday dinner. Jerry is one of the friendliest, most genuine people you'll ever work with — he somehow made a corporate event feel like a family gathering. “I can't say enough about Basilico Italian Catering. They did the most amazing job at my wedding. Context: I used to cater society weddings in Washington DC (senators' kids, etc) and my catering captain who taught me everything was at my wedding. We were both very impressed with the professionalism, the food, the staff; Basilico nailed it from start to finish. Manny is passionate about food and it shows, the staff was so attentive and CARING - I can't think of another word. You would think that it was their daughters' wedding the way the paid attention to every detail and went out of their way to make everything perfect. Thank you!“

“Since moving to Concord, when I am craving any sort of gyro or shawarma this is the place I go to now. This place introduced me to the Turkish style since where I am from most shawarma places are Iraqi, Syrian or Lebanese. When I am super hungry I get the Sams combo which is worth the price. Their sauces as sides are great as well especially the red sauce. I like the brightness it brings (some say its spicy but as a spice freak, it is definitely on the tanginess/ bright side but if you dont handle spice well, you will find it spicy). Amazing falafels as that is definitely their best protein they offer not to count out their chicken and beef. I also like the chickpeas in the rice as well.
If you are in the area, definitely give Sam's a try. Anything I have ordered from their plates to their wraps has always been great. Also the hummus you can taste that its home made.“

“I saw a sign for gourmet ice cream and I obviously had to stop in. This place beyond exceeded my expectations! I got the saffron pistachio ice cream and it is one of the most delicious ice creams I've ever had. Perfect balance of sweet and mild and I can see myself craving this. The people there were so nice and friendly as well. 1000% recommend!“
“I cannot recommend Hiroshi’s Catering enough! From the very start of the hiring process all the way to the end of our event, everything was incredibly smooth and easy. He handled absolutely everything seamlessly, allowing us to just relax and enjoy the night. The sushi was fresh, highlighting unique seasonal ingredients like peaches and Thai basil. Everything was delicious. His setup and display is top notch as well. To top it off, Aaron (Hiroshi) is very kind, professional, and warm. If you want a flawless event with spectacular food, hire him immediately.“

“I had the pleasure of performing a book signing at this welcoming Caribbean Restaurant & Bakery this past weekend. I was blown away by the artistic wall murals, the outdoor decorations and seating opportunities, the inflow of people of diverse backgrounds that came to satisfy their palette with the mouth-watering taste of Caribbean cuisine and tantalizing delicacies. I applaud Chef Ann and her Team for an outstanding job of keeping the Caribbean culture alive in this very quaint section of Oakland California.“

“Great deli / cafe attached to a catering business. Sandwiches are outstanding. Meat piled high and very fresh vegetables. Roll was soft and light, also.
The deli operation closes at 2:00 pm daily and is closed on weekends. But in-between that, you can get a great sandwich here .
They have housemade salads of all types, incl pasta etc. I didn't try them but will - they all looked great
And, it is one of the few places to sit down and eat around here that doesn't try to shake a tip out of you at the cash register before even trying the food.
