Pho Golden Noodle and Grill offers a good authentic Vietnamese cuisine. They’re located in a Haven City plaza. Their menu highlights the rich, aromatic broths and perfectly cooked noodles that define authentic pho. I had a Charbroiled chicken vermicelli x hot tea. I liked the freshness and flavor of their food. Similarly, their hot tea was a perfect match.

Service is spot on. Staff are cordial and professional. Prices are competitive and affordable. Atmosphere is relaxing with spacious dining tables and seats. Overall, it’s a nice spot to eat good.“

“Came here for Father & Daughter Valentine’s Day Lunch. First thing that stood out was how beautiful the interior was, my daughter and I loved being able to sit in the booths. The food was great, a little pricey but that’s expected with Sushi. I recommend getting the mushrooms as an appetizer! I also want to give a shoutout to Megan who was our server that day. She was really sweet and attentive, really enjoyed her positive spirit while we were there. I managed to get a Polaroid with her that they were doing for Valentines Day. Overall great lunch. Will be back again.“

We got the chicken chili dumplings and shrimp and pork chili dumplings (amazing), beef & broccoli (perfect amount of beef to broccoli ratio), orange chicken (perfectly fried pieces) & the hot & spicy fried rice, (best I’ve ever had). “This review is based on my first experience with the restaurant. Food was a hit with our guests. I ordered the Todo Fiesta package and Mama Chit package for about 15 people and it was just right, a few people were still able to take home some food. Crispy pata, daing na bangus, and sinigang were the top favorites but everything else was good, too. My only suggestion would be to pre-cut the pata? Service was excellent, I didn't catch his name but the young man who greeted me was professional, had clear communication skils, and was very helpful. I only picked up but from what I saw of the interior, it's your typical no-frills Filipino restaurant. Don't be like me; call to order ahead for pick up and not through delivery apps! The food was ready for pick up well within the estimated range.“

“Love the food. Coming from Northern California where Cantonese cafe are stingy and average tasting, this place is a dream. We finished every dish we ordered. And we ordered a lot. Unlimited delicious lemon ice tea refill is more than a bonus. We were part of 9. Then we went next door supermarket to enjoy some shopping. I forgot to mention we were celebrating end of 2023, and coming around 2024 right now 6 AM. I am ready to go 24 hot fitness“

“Interesting noodles. I didn't get a chance to ask if they really made from potatoes but I assume they are due to the name... Not sure exactly what powder means tho...

So all the options are basically like an individual noodle/hotpot thing. There's basically 3 options... Beef, seafood hotpot, and seafood pot...I have no idea what seafood pot vs seafood hotpot means. They have 4 flavors: spicy, slightly spicy, not spicy, and tomato; they have 2 noodle choices: potato or knife cut.

I got the premium beef tomato flavor with both the potato noodles and knife cut noodles. The noodles resemble udon but with way more bounce/chew. The knife cut noodles were really good too. I kinda wish I got more of the knife cut noodles... Like a 50/50 ratio but it was more like 75/25. The broth was tasty and the beef was good. One thing to note was that there were too many mushrooms relative to the other stuff. I don't love mushrooms so found it slightly annoying there was more of that than the other stuff. Otherwise, I found the dish to be good. Price at $16 isn't a decent price for the dish.

Overall, if you've never tried potato noodles def swing by and give this dish a shot.“

“I ordered their beancurd beef tripe and tomato crab paste rice noodles today. I have gotten dinner several times before and had tried their shrimp roll, hainan chicken rice. All of the dishes I tried are good. It’s pretty quiet usually when I visit this place. The most people I’ve seen are probably 3-4 tables of customers. Service is good every time and servers are very attentive and friendly.

Its more like a 4 for this place because its a place I would often come because of their food and service. I decided to give this place a 5 star instead because I want to support small businesses like these and because this place is more hidden / low key so unless you are in the area for a quick lunch, theres a less chance people would find this place.“

“Really enjoyed the Spicy Beef Noodle Soup with the chewy Knife Cut noodles. Staff were friendly and attentive. Order came out quickly and fresh. I counted at least five beef chunks in my bowl, which is just awesome! I also ordered the Honey Lemon Tea, which was refreshing and just right (not too sweet). Seating/atmosphere was comfortable. “This little mom-and-pop noodle shop was such a great find! We stumbled in right around 8:30 PM, just before they closed, and ended up being the last ones there.
​Their noodles were honestly delicious. I mean, my nephew, who is notoriously picky, even complimented the shrimp noodle! The dandan noodles were a touch too salty for my personal taste, but everyone else absolutely loved them.
​Even though it was late, the service was great. We never felt rushed. I'm definitely going to be coming back whenever a noodle craving hits!“

“Been on my list for a while and finally came in on a Saturday for lunch. The noodles were to die for! I got the special with three toppings and it was so perfect and delicious. The meat sauce and tomato egg brought back my childhood memories the nostalgia! The beef cubes were so tender and flavorful. The noodles are perfectly al dente with a little bite. Not to mention the bowl is huge! This place is legit!

The dumplings were good as well but I prefer some of the other SGV greats.

“Absolutely loved this sushi spot! The fish was incredibly fresh, and the salad was light and tasty. They had a Christmas salmon special that was such a great deal--5 pieces of salmon sashimi, 2 pieces of salmon sushi, and a classic salmon roll. Perfect for salmon lovers!

I also tried the shishito peppers, which were nicely charred with just the right amount of spice. The spicy tuna rainbow roll was another highlight--fresh, flavorful, and beautifully made.

The service was awesome too. Chrystal was my server and she was so cool, funny, and made the whole experience even better. She was so professional and down to earth! Definitely a place I'd come back to again! You should give it a try if you're in the area!

Combo #1 comes with two bowls of rice and soup, a plate of chicken, cucumber salad, and fried peanut. The rice is very fragrant and the chicken was tasty with the sweet and spicy sauces.
The potato noodles is very tasty. I will say the best one in LA. If you want to add more protein to the soup that’s good. It is also good for the original recipe. I absolutely love the numbing, peppery flavor of Sichuan pepper in potato noodles.“

“Food was amazing! Tried the chefs combo(turns out the chef I had was also the owner) to which every piece of sushi had a good portion of their choice on top. Miso soup was good and tried their double salmon roll special. Very flavorful and good portion on the inside and out. Place inside is small but doesnt feel cramped, servers and chef are hospitable and ambiance is calm. Great for a date or even just to relax. Definitely returning!

“I like this place. $13.99 per pound of food. You get to choose all your toppings. I recommend going heavy on the meats and light on the carbohydrates. That’ll be the best bang for the buck. They also have frog meat if that’s your lingo. I tried their beef bone broth and I like it a lot. I’d come back again.

Just a heads up. If you can’t eat mild this place won’t be for you. They can’t alter the broth. The only option is the tomato broth which is no spicy.“

You can choose how spicy you want it by adding the chili yourself at the table. The beef roll is my absolute favorite. “This place is a gem for its beef noodle soup, cold noodles, and the squid side dish. The food is simply amazing! However, the issue is the limited operating hours. The last time I visited at 2:30 PM, they were hesitant but eventually allowed me to dine. Unfortunately, during my recent visit at 2 PM, they were completely out of beef noodle soup and many other items, leading to an early closure. The friendly lady was nice to still let me order the dan dan noodle that had to be cooked and the cold noodles that were readily available. Ended buying a bunch of side dishes too to eat in the parking lot.“
