“My husband and I have tried this place several times. We really enjoyed it! And $13.99 for the cheapest option minus upgrades is amazing. But this last time we visited they have now started charging for all the broth flavors. Before it was the basic dashi flavor that you get at no added charge and if you wanted a different flavor you pay more which I understand. But now you're charged extra for all of the broths on top of the $13.99. It's just disappointing seeing as this is hot pot and the broth is a necessity so you have no choice but to pay the extra $2.99-$4.99. If you don't mind that then I would give this place a try. “This is a soondubu (spicy silky soft tofu soup) restaurant like BCD chain. You can order combo menu with a meat or fish entree with a version of soondubu soup. You can select the spicy level and toppings for the soup. I thought the soup is really good but the meat dishes except for the LA rib were too sweet. Ban Chan (side dishes) were just average. For Diamond Bar I think this outlet is fine. There is plenty of parking in the shopping mall lot.

“This place has good Korean food. It's a good place to bring your family or friends. Your mother or grandmother will not complain about the food. They give large portions and the side dishes are really good. Services quick and very friendly. The tempura was good, sauce was great too. Katsu was fried perfectly, sauce was tangy and fantastic, just wish the pork was more moist/tender. Karaage was just okay, probably wouldn’t order it again, most of the flavor came from the sauce. My dad loved his eel bowl set, flavored and cooked well. My katsudon bowl was delicious, again katsu was a little dry, togarashi is a must with this bowl. And the cold soba noodles were great, the sauce dip was perfectly seasoned and noodles were perfect texture, very refreshing to eat.

“Their Tan Tan Men Ramen are the best! I love how I have the opportunity to customize our ground meat choices (I.e. ground pork or ground chicken). “Me and the husband went here for the first time. We chose the premium as we didn't like any of the meats or broths in the prime option. I ordered the sukiyaki broth and the native chongquin Mala. The Mala was very spicy as soon as I got it. I removed all the chilies, and it was still spicy but delicious. I started mixing both broths to balance spiciness, and it was delicious. They have a self-serve buffet with many options, and the meats are ordered at the table. My favotire was the pork belly, shrimp and the fish filet. My mouth is watering just thinking about it ?. “This is the best rice noodle I have eaten in the United States. The ones in the Bay Area are not as delicious as this one. The crispy skin is super fragrant. The rice noodles are extremely soft but not chewy. The other noodles are either hard or broken. I will go there again before returning to the Bay Area. once“

Definitely one of the best Vietnamese home cooked meals at a restaurant in the area. The flavour is so authentic that can transport you back to the Southern of Vietnam (mien Tay) in a bite. We ordered the lunch set for family and cannot fault a thing. It came with canh chua, ca chien, goi tom thit, ca kho, bap cai chua. Flavour was mouth watering and all very good value for money. I always try this dish where restaurants serve it in hopes of finding the ONE style I like - here it’s very close to the Din Tai Fung style with less sugar and a better price. They also use a good handmade wonton with delicious filling. A lot of places mess up on their use of wontons and sauce.

LOVED the lamb noodle soup!! I generally love lamb across the board, and they do it really well here - clear broth style, hand made noodles, no gamey taste/smell (so my mom says as she can be more sensitive to it). Greaaat price.“

“It was our first time back to this place since the change of new ownership. We used to come a lot when it was under Cortez ownership. Needless to say, we wanted to go somewhere local without waiting much so we decided to come back and try this place.

It was empty when we came in on a Sunday afternoon. The server was very welcoming, courteous and attentive. It was about 92 outside and inside it was nice and fresh, cool but not ice cold. There was plenty of parking ( they have a small parking lot and plenty of street parking).

We both ordered the chilaquiles, one Red and Green plate. Came with refried beans and potatoes. The portions were relatively decent sized; not too big and not too small.

They gave us homemade chips with some homemade green salsa, fidelio soup which were all good but the salsa in my opinion phenomenal. So the free entries were good.

The chips were homemade and not too hard and not saggy, not full of sodium either. The sauces and salsa are all homemade and delicious. The red and green chilaquiles salsas that this place uses were both handmade and great. The beans were delicious, the potatoes were rather hard though and in a very small portion. We enjoyed the food, definitely coming back to try other things on the menu. THEY DON’T SELL ALCOHOL……..

The prices were relatively reasonably priced. If ur local, and don’t want to go broke or wait for a ridiculous waitlist then I’d definitely recommend coming.“

“Complex, authentic Korean flavors made with traditional p ingredients. A humble porridge could become a pleasantly enjoyable experience. I ordered bulnakji porridge today and instead of using ground beef or cheap meat, they used a good quality meat and then they sautéed the marinated bulgogi in butter. mmm. Chives/buchu they used were fresh and green. So was the octopus. Often times you taste the fishiness but this octopus or nakji had a very clean flavor. The venue and the food they served were very clean. I highly recommend this place.“

The duck was expertly prepared across three dishes, with the wrap being a standout (we requested extra wraps). Other highlights included the shrimp, eel & sticky rice, and fillet mignon. However, the real showstoppers were the giant steamed fish and dessert soup with rice balls, which stole the show with the group.

Service and ambiance were on par with a traditional Chinese restaurant. A reservation is a must, and 8-10 people is the ideal group size to take advantage of these banquets. Worth noting: they seem to have set seating times to ensure perfectly roasted ducks.

“If you want to drink Korean soup, this restaurant is definitely the first choice. It tastes very good. Although there are only four side dishes, they all taste good. The purple rice is also delicious. The highlight is definitely the big pot of beef bones, potatoes and Rice cake, tastes very good, but the price is a bit expensive“

“Wow, the taste was amazing - both the pho and the cucumber lemonade. The pho was richly and deeply flavored and was satisfying while still being bright and fresh feeling. The service was very prompt, friendly and helpful - the server understood my not liking overly sweet drinks and recommended the cucumber lemonade as refreshing while still having sweetness. It was, indeed, refreshing and sweet - perfectly balanced flavors. The server also wisely suggested we package the noodles and broth of our leftovers seperately. “Located on a less visited side of the plaza, there's this Korean restaurant that has fair prices food and portions.

Standard to all Korean restaurant, we were served with various side dishes which were pretty good flavor breakers for the food that was coming in.

We ordered a cold noodle dish, a Tripe/Brisket Glass noodle dish, and the premium bossam.

The staff was kind enough to inform us how to eat the premium bossam, providing lettuce to create a mixture wrap.

Alternating between the bossam and brisket was a easy break of flavor between the two, and you would quickly devour both in no time.

I wouldn't say there was anything in particular that stood out from this place, but sometimes you don't need a WOW place to eat at, and instead a quickly seated restaurant for some comfy food is all you need.“

“Been on the prowl for a new spot for a good breakfast burrito in our new area. It's been more miss than hit with some places charging way too much. Decided to give Taqueria Poncitlan a try and OMG it was amazing and far better than our previous regular place.

I opted for the chorizo, beans, and egg burrito for $10.99 but added avocado, tomatoes, and cheese bringing it to around $14...and still cheaper than some of the $16+ price at other spots.

This thing was huge!! They gave me the green and red salsa which were both great. I would get it with pico de gallo next time instead of tomatoes. Flavor, texture, and freshness was exceptional. Plenty of seating with friendly staff with a casual setting and a TV. Finally found our go-to spot for breakfast burritos!! Woohoo!!“

“Excellent time! Ordered the Calabrian Steak and Shrimp Bucatini w/ extra, extra cheese and the Chocolate Lasagna for dessert. The Calabrian crème sauce was spicy, but not overpowering. The dessert was scrumptious! Sarah, our waitress, checked in to make sure everything was perfect. Especially the request for extra, extra cheese lol.
