I do have to say, though that I like this location far better than the one on Abbott Kinney because they have more choices for me. “Honestly, I was skeptical looking at the menu choice. I decided to step out of my comfort zone and experiment. I played it safe, but was still highly impressed. I tried the honey lavender and coffee and love nuts, it was phenomenal highly recommend please try do not judge. The irony is the honey and lavender has notes of some tea flavor that I could not put my finger on, but it paired well with the coffee.“

“We are visiting town from Texas and ran across Irvs burgers in Balboa. Service was friendly and quick. Breakfast burritos was perfect and the patty melt was amazing. “Must try! Ordered some take and bakes and had them shipped to Michigan. Order arrived intact and cold! Instructions for reheating worked perfectly..although I can’t say my sauce “racing stripe” was as pretty as the Chefs 🤣🤣. Didn’t even matter though because this was the absolute best, and tastiest pizza I’ve ever had! Crust was thick and had the perfect crunch, sauce was divine (and I’m not even a big sauce fan), cheese oh so good and the pepperonis were heavenly 😌🍕😋. Looks like the best “Detroit Style” pizza is no longer made in Michigan. 😊“

“The staff is always so friendly, they are always cleaning the space 24/7 and the smoothies are ALWAYS delicious. I love that I can add on a bunch of extras without it being a $35 smoothie. They are reasonable for what it is. Love stopping here when I need a quick pick me up, and they keep the orders efficiently moving so I never have to worry about wasting time.“

“Walked in right at opening on a Thursday and sat at the sushi bar with my husband. The vibe of the restaurant feels very cozy, just like being transported back to Japan. We ordered a bottle of nigori sake and the premium omakase experience. We were impressed with each piece given, the fish was obviously fresh and the rice was perfect. (Special mention to the salmon nigiri and the eel roll - still thinking about these bites!) I wish we were given a little more explanation on what each fish was, but with only one sushi chef making everything, it makes sense he needs to focus on customer orders. Our server was very kind and attentive. Will definitely come back next time we’re in West Hollywood!“

“The Melt truly delivers an outstanding burger experience. The burger was fantastic—juicy, flavorful, and literally melted in the mouth. You can tell quality ingredients are used, and everything was cooked perfectly.

Service was excellent as well. One of our burgers was missing an egg, but the service recovery was handled impressively. The staff came back promptly with the egg and even refunded the burger, which showed great professionalism and care for customer satisfaction.

We also tried the cookies, and they were amazing—soft, warm, and genuinely melt-in-the-mouth.

Highly recommended overall. Great food, great service, and great recovery when something went wrong. Will definitely be back again!“

“So so good! Their basic house salad had a very clean, delicious taste with a lemon vinaigrette. We also got a cheese pizza and 10/10 would recommend. Was a thin crust pizza but good crispy crust, not too thin. I got a strawberry spritz, non-alcoholic drink that was fresh and my friend got the Espresso Martini. I'd never tried one before but had a sip and will absolutely get it next time, very smooth. The bartender was nice and attentive.“

While the market-style concept is clear, the execution feels a bit off, particularly with numerous crooked pictures on the walls. Service was interesting – ordering was very quick, but we weren't checked on frequently after that. Overall, come for the fantastic food, but don't expect a flawless ambiance“
