“My Comadre and I decided to meet up here. She said she loves the hot abuelita drink and I decided to try it myself. It hit the spot at the first sip! Thanks Comadre. She had a ham and cheese croissant sandwich and I had a everything Bagel with cream cheese. Both were freshly made and it was good. To top it off, another friend showed up right before I had to leave for class. Goes to show you, if you want great taste, this is the place.“

“Went in with good intentions for breakfast, but I was a little disappointed with the way my Green Chile burrito was maid. Was early in the morning not too many people. They gave it to me a little Luke cold, Green Chile was freshly made. The cheese was cold and did not melt. That makes the difference in a freshly made burrito. Put a little love in your product.“

The shop offered an impressive array of pastries. We decided to try their croissants, which turned out to be light, airy, and perfectly crispy.

The coffee menu, while straightforward, was inviting. However, I noticed that there weren't many options catered specifically for kids. After inquiring, the staff kindly provided us with a variety of alternatives, ensuring everyone could find something enjoyable. One thing we learned was that most sweeteners came with an extra charge.

We faced a minor setback when it took longer than anticipated to receive our drinks. With two orders ahead of us, we found ourselves waiting about 20 minutes. Despite the wait, we would definitely return. The coffee was simply perfect, though next time, we'll be sure to allow ourselves some extra time.“

And everything is beautifully fresh. I love their country bread, baguettes, olive cumin bread, dinner rolls… but I have so much more to try Their pastries are scrumptious: Pecan Sticky Bun, Cardamom Bun, Kouign Amann, Financier, Marzipan Croissant, Sea Salt Brownie, OG Chocolate Chip Cookie. It’s all amazing and I’ve brought a number of friends to show off this incredible Belmont Shore Bakery. On Friday nights Colossus serves pizza into the night. Again, high-quality ingredients make their pizzas delicious. Plus they have interesting and unique combinations. They are tip free because their starting wage is $21/hr. Great customer service. Cute little space with some lovely specialty spice mixes, food items, merch, and wine. Indoor and outdoor seating, and they serve tasty coffees and teas. Colossus feels like a little bit of Europe on 2nd Street.“

They had everything ready when I got there and are always so happy and appreceative. Love this place! Oder the Supreme Doughnuts Box they're gorgeous and totally worth it!

Vegetarian options: They have a veggie burrito that is amazing! Just remember to order it without cheese.

“Visited this place with Wifey, things were good but not great. I think our server had a bad day or something. There were two males assisting our server who offered great service with smiles. Our female server did not warm up until it was time to pay our bill. We still tipped her because we know folks need to work 2x harder in the current economy. The food was good and the portions were great. I will come back and give them another try. Lastly, the bright spot here is their patio which is very relaxing. As you dine, great views of PCH street action - despite this round of ok service, I'll be back!“

“What a FANTASTIC place! I heard about Yellow Vase online and decided that it would be a perfect spot to stop and try out. We found a table outside with a great view of the ocean. We placed our order at the counter and the line moved very quickly so dont be intimidated if it looks busy because they are FAST! They clearly have a fantastic system in place because no sooner did we sit down after placing our orders and take a sip of our tea and espresso and our food was out!
The goat cheese on the Roasted Veggie Scramble was delicious,my only complaint being that there wasnt more of it! It was a great balance with the salad and few slices of bread. The decor was adorable, and of course we had to get some pastries to go!
What an absolute gem of a place, it seems the different locations may have a few different options for food as well to keep it unique, and I very much look forward to getting to try out the other locations as well. We will absolutely be back to this location and to hop around and try the others! With such a diverse menu I cant wait to try some of the other dishes they offer!“

“Mr. Mack graciously assisted us by taking our order and providing wonderful recommendations. Consequently, we opted for two delectable ham & egg sandwiches on wheat bread, a refreshing Greek salad, an indulgent Almond Chocolate Croissant, a rich café latte, and a steaming cup of hot water.

My spouse and I enjoy exploring new dining venues and pride ourselves on evaluating service, food quality, and ambiance. We were thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service we received; Mr. Mack warmly greeted us with a sweet smile and gentle demeanor, offering insightful suggestions. He diligently catered to our needs, even promptly fulfilling my request for Tapatio hot sauce to spice up my sandwich. The dishes were fresh and superb, with the salad proving to be particularly delightful and the coffee exceeding our expectations.

As our meal drew to a close, we approached a lady, whose name eluded me, to request a takeout box. She promptly presented us with two options to choose from. I wholeheartedly endorse this restaurant and look forward to returning for another delightful start to the day. Thank you ?

“I liked the diy experience. You get to put as many toppings and whatever fills the cup before they put the seal on . The regular boba was fresh and hot and had a good texture and bite. I also liked the lychee jelly and the egg pudding. Given all the options of drinks I chose the horchata smoothie. It was good but with all the variety of toppings, I should have tried one of the teas to go with them rather than get the self inflicted brain freeze that comes with ordering a smoothie. From the time I walked in the door, the service was friendly and genuine. That was as refreshing as one of the delicious drinks served here!“

“Been passing by this place for a few weeks and finally decided to give there breakfast tortas a try before work. And me and my partner have been going whenever we can. I get the chorizo w/egg he gets the ham w/egg. Everything taste good the bolillo taste good on its own. Plus we recently tried there Guatemalan breakfast everything on that plate was amazing. I think she said they only make it on the weekends. But so worth. Plus there sweet bread and donuts are also very tasty. Owners are very nice people very welcoming and friendly. “My personal favorite breakfast place in Long Beach\n\nPart of me didn't think they needed my yelp review since they do so well and there's a line outside on weekends lot of the time.\n\nThe photo is a veggie scramble, which was delicious if you want to avoid some meat.\n\nSpeaking of meat, I love her corn, beef, hash, and eggs, Old-school diner style corned beef hash. I enjoy their black coffee, they use "Boyds" if you're familiar with Boyds, it's pretty good .\n\nThey serve lunch as well, but I don't think I've ever ordered lunch because I love breakfast and they do breakfast so well. Also, they have three different salsas to choose from that they make in the house which our absolutely delicious.\n\nYou really can't go wrong with coming here for breakfast or bringing out of towners to show off a good breakfast place. “Love, love their chicken. Fresh, healthy and very, very tasty. This really is a pick up location, but it does have outside tables. Easy to order ahead and their rotisserie chicken is frankly the best I have had. I know they've been in West LA for years and so happy they just opened El Segundo. I eat here a few times a week. They have some really good sides as well, especially the roasted potatoes. Order ahead El Segundo because they are packed at lunch. Staff is very friendly and it is easy to walk up and order. They usually are 10 minutes or less. The atmosphere is fine but it is really a walk up and eat outside place. Try it. You will love it.

Parking: It just get crowed at lunch in Chargers commons because there are a lot of other restaurants. But you can always find a space somewhere.

Kid-friendliness: Perfect meal for kids. Fresh, healthy and tasty. Plenty to oder from for them.“

“I had a bowl of pho for breakfast, and it was so good. Thick cut brisket was wonderful and portion was good as well. Pho in this restaurant is northern Vietnamese style pho, broth is so flavorful and don't need to put any condiment(sriracha or hoisin but I recommend put some fish sauce for kick). FYI, this restaurant opens at 7am not 06 or 06:30.“

“I was looking for a coffee shop and this was nearby. Solid space and decor to setup your laptop and do some work too.

I had a matcha latte with whole milk and honey. It was delicious and the right temperature, an overall excellent morning beverage.

“I got a large coffee milk tea with boba and custard. The tea was fine, loved the custard but the boba was a little too chewy for me and I had to really slow down and take a few more bytes than normal, this is probably better for my digestion anyway, ha ha.I was a little pleasantly surprised that even though I forgot to ask for less sweet, it wasn’t too sweet like other places.I used to order the fruit shaved ice a lot, it’s a great dessert drink with combination of fresh fruits such as mango, kiwi, strawberry, etc, plus flavored shaved ice and varieties of boba. I haven’t been getting since weather hasn’t been that warm. I’m glad the weather is finally getting warmer and I’m looking forward having them again!“
