“My Comadre and I decided to meet up here. She said she loves the hot abuelita drink and I decided to try it myself. It hit the spot at the first sip! Thanks Comadre. She had a ham and cheese croissant sandwich and I had a everything Bagel with cream cheese. Both were freshly made and it was good. To top it off, another friend showed up right before I had to leave for class. Goes to show you, if you want great taste, this is the place.“

“This Vietnamese spot quietly sits inside a bland strip mall but surprises in every bite. The pho was rich and fragrant, and their pho‑French‑dip banh mi served on Persian bread was unforgettable. I appreciated how inventive yet respectful their flavor combinations stayed. Seating is minimal, but the staff are attentive and efficient. It’s precisely the sort of hidden gem locals appreciate—not glossy, just excellent food“

“From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for something special. The ambiance was warm and elegant, with just the right mix of sophistication and comfort. Every detail was thoughtfully executed — from the lighting to the music to the attentive, professional staff.
The food? Unforgettable. Every dish was a masterpiece, both in flavor and presentation. The ingredients were clearly top-quality and prepared with incredible skill. My [insert favorite dish] was perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor, and the dessert — wow. Easily one of the best meals I’ve ever had.“

“AMBIANCE: This coffee shop is small, pretty laidback, and I like their decor & choice of indie music. Honestly I might come in here more to study or relax if I'm nearby.
FOOD/DRINK: Iced ube almond latte - I wasn't expecting it on the menu. Luckily, I was in the mood for ube these past two days so I'm glad I came when I did! It had a pretty purple color on the top and the starchy flavor of ube to cut into the aftertaste of coffee so all things considered, I enjoyed it a lot.
SERVICE: Chris was quick and accomodating for my dairy allergies! He made the latte in a separate steam pitcher and took the time to talk to me about the warming summer weather. Seems like a nice guy, glad he was my barista today.“

“So much to say… but ultimately, Colossus in Long Beach is WONDERFUL!! The BEST BLT I’ve ever had. Because they use high quality ingredients! Their Soft-Scrambled Egg Toast is divine. And everything is beautifully fresh. I love their country bread, baguettes, olive cumin bread, dinner rolls… but I have so much more to try Their pastries are scrumptious: Pecan Sticky Bun, Cardamom Bun, Kouign Amann, Financier, Marzipan Croissant, Sea Salt Brownie, OG Chocolate Chip Cookie. It’s all amazing and I’ve brought a number of friends to show off this incredible Belmont Shore Bakery. On Friday nights Colossus serves pizza into the night. Again, high-quality ingredients make their pizzas delicious. Plus they have interesting and unique combinations. They are tip free because their starting wage is $21/hr. Great customer service. Cute little space with some lovely specialty spice mixes, food items, merch, and wine. Indoor and outdoor seating, and they serve tasty coffees and teas. Colossus feels like a little bit of Europe on 2nd Street.“
“Stopped into Bliss on my way to get my nails done next door. Got my usual drink—an iced vanilla almond milk latte. This one tasted spectacular and I found out it’s because they make their own vanilla syrup with REAL vanilla beans! Wow! Coming back soon!“

“We stumbled upon this little café by chance while driving from the airport — and what a hidden gem it turned out to be! I honestly envy the office workers who get to have this place nearby every day.
It's a small café, but everything they serve is top-tier culinary art — the sandwiches, coffee, and salads are absolutely delicious. And the soups… just wow! We tried the pumpkin and broccoli soups — both incredibly tasty and nourishing. My 7-year-old son usually won’t touch broccoli, but he loved their broccoli soup and ate it with great pleasure.
We've only been there a couple of times over the past year, but it’s definitely on our list for every future trip to Los Angeles. Can’t wait to come back!“

“Brought my daughter after jujitsu class... we were ordering and i saw the new reopens drinks and suggested she try one of them... she said she wanted to stick with her original order of a mango smoothie with no boba and mango jelly and popping boba... before we even paid the drink was prepared... one thing I noticed was all the employees were smiling... my daughter left her phone on the counter and we walked over to the bakery next door... as we were walking out Roxy came and brought us the phone.... thank you for a great experience and saving us a headache.“

“Lovely experience. The staff were very nice and attentive. The food was really great! I ordered the burger and fries, the ranch on the side is a must! Best ranch ever with the best fries. We came here to celebrate my Husbands birthday and the staff here made it special. 10/10 recommend!“

“I discovered Jade Snow located at the King Harbor pier in Redondo Beach while biking on the path along the sand near the ocean. Initially, I tried their smoothies and then the various fresh fruit dishes including the MACHA, ACAI, and the DRAGON. The fruits were always fresh, the presentation always appealing, and the taste always gratifying. The staff are friendly and bring my order to me, rather than call my order number and hand it to me over the counter.
Jade Snow has been a fantastic place for me to stop by, get tasty / healthy nutrition, and refresh on my cycling route.“

“I ordered the cinnamon oat latte, and I'm usually not a fan of oatmilk but it was balanced so well against the espresso and the cinnamon that it didn't dominate the flavor. It was a very smooth drink, not too sweet, not too bitter, and not too strong.
My wife got the strawberry matcha latte, and while the matcha was of a decent grade and quality, the strawberry isn't a puree, nor is it like a strawberry creme or milk added in, it's an additive in powder form and she doesn't tend to like that.
Their chocolate croissant, which we shared, was heated up as requested, it came with a line of melted chocolate drizzle on top, which I think was similar to Nutella but less thick in terms of consistency. It was also topped with powder sugar, and it had an inserted line of darker chocolate, maybe 65%, so pretty balanced against the sweetness of everything else involved.
The area the cafe is located in is nice, it's a large promenade with several nicer restaurants (it's also sort of attached to it's restaurant counterpart) and there's plenty to walk around and get some shopping done or walk off the drinks and baked sweets. Plenty of parking as well, and the mall itself is only a block or two north from the cafe.“

“this little place is a big smack a of bohemian chill factor that emanates from your host, Peter . next , the space, sadly, not enougĥ to contain the magic overflowing out its doors, is a piece of a backstage area with the jibe of all are welcome, from scifi nerds to yuppies on bikes and boomers out for a hike, from runners to walkers, even old folks with a walker, Eco Coffee has the cold drinks to chill ya and hot drinks to warm your core. Good food, fresh made. awsome egg sandwich“

“I recently stumbled upon an adorable little coffee shop, thanks to a quick search on Google. As someone who loves exploring new places, I was immediately drawn to its charm. The shop offered an impressive array of pastries. We decided to try their croissants, which turned out to be light, airy, and perfectly crispy.
The coffee menu, while straightforward, was inviting. However, I noticed that there weren't many options catered specifically for kids. After inquiring, the staff kindly provided us with a variety of alternatives, ensuring everyone could find something enjoyable. One thing we learned was that most sweeteners came with an extra charge.
We faced a minor setback when it took longer than anticipated to receive our drinks. With two orders ahead of us, we found ourselves waiting about 20 minutes. Despite the wait, we would definitely return. The coffee was simply perfect, though next time, we'll be sure to allow ourselves some extra time.“

“My partner and I were talking a stroll down our new neighborhood, and quite literally SMELLED the delicious food before seeing this place. It was almost cartoon-like the way we just followed our feet toward the warm buttery smell of a local diner.
We probably got lucky since it was just two of us and spots were available at the counter right when we got in!
We sat down, and were greeted right away with a smile and a fresh pot of coffee. Menu is extensive for such a cozy spot! Health is also highlighted in their menu..plenty of options to enhance the menu to your needs. My partner got the turkey omelette sub egg whites, and I got the French toast combo w/ a side of potatoes (10/10).
The atmosphere is amazing, and we love businesses that highlight artists as well (you can scan under some of the art displayed to learn more).
Service is friendly and efficient.
When you walk-in, you get a sense that you’ve been there before. And that’s a very comforting feeling for a first timer (:“

“I ordered both the hot matcha latte and the iced matcha, curious to compare the two. To my surprise, the cold version came flavored with lemonade—a twist not mentioned on the menu. Had I known, I likely would’ve skipped it. The citrusy tang clashed with the earthy matcha in a way that didn’t quite work for my palate. Still, I’d paid for it, so I powered through.
The hot matcha latte had potential, but the balance was off—too much matcha powder led to a thick sediment settling at the bottom. Unfortunately, my final sip delivered a gritty mouthful that left an unpleasant aftertaste.
While this visit wasn’t the most delightful sip-wise, I’m not holding it against Yellow Vase. I’d come back for other offerings, but I’ll be steering clear of the matcha next time..“

“Beautiful beachside cafe and retail shop located on Pier Ave in a historic building.. they have a beautiful patio and also a small dining room inside. Enter left for cafe, right for retail store.. excellent baked goods, sandwiches, salads, and plenty of great beverage selections. The egg white breakfast burrito was veggies rather than the typical breakfast meats and it was great. The chicken breast sandwich on the buckwheat bread was toasted to perfection and super tasty. The atmosphere is very charming beachside historic and reminds you of the age of Hermosa Beach.. original flooring and trim have been preserved from one of the oldest original buildings in town. The service was friendly and efficient with honest recommendations and everyone came out fast and perfecto even though they were nice and busy on a Saturday. Gum Tree is a great place to sit and relax, have a nice meal or a snack, shop for cool and unique housewares, gifts and beach related treasures. Located on the south side of Pier Ave between Monterey and Manhattan.“

“I was craving cheesecake so I made my husband get me some from here because the reviews. I wouldn't say it's the best I've had but it's good. Got the strawberry crunch and the banana. “This is a good choice when you want shave ice dessert the flavors are natural I’m allergic to a lot of colors and they don’t add any additives so if you were sensitive as I am, I has not reacted to anything that I have order there, which is very common with this desert. they had lots of colors this place doesn’t.“

“Love, love their chicken. Fresh, healthy and very, very tasty. This really is a pick up location, but it does have outside tables. Easy to order ahead and their rotisserie chicken is frankly the best I have had. I know they've been in West LA for years and so happy they just opened El Segundo. I eat here a few times a week. They have some really good sides as well, especially the roasted potatoes. Order ahead El Segundo because they are packed at lunch. Staff is very friendly and it is easy to walk up and order. They usually are 10 minutes or less. The atmosphere is fine but it is really a walk up and eat outside place. Try it. You will love it.
Parking: It just get crowed at lunch in Chargers commons because there are a lot of other restaurants. But you can always find a space somewhere.
Kid-friendliness: Perfect meal for kids. Fresh, healthy and tasty. Plenty to oder from for them.“

“Love the people and food sold here are unsurpassed. When they opened there was a sign that explained the pricing reflected and living wage and that the tip was built in to the menu prices. (Most expensive spot for a cap and munchie) then one day a tip line appeared at check out. What?!? I thought it was part of the high price?? Needless to say not tipping puts me in an awkward situation - If I don’t tip is it because I don’t appreciate their cheerful competence? If I add it in now I’m at $16 for a coffee and roll…. I just go someplace else farther but also good (price/budget issues) thanks for letting me vent“

“I've been enjoying their crepes since they were called the Delightful Crepe Cafe and were on Studebaker in Long Beach. I continued coming to them after they moved and changed names because one thing that hasn't changed is how delicious their food is. They are only open until 3 pm so I tend to get food to go, like I did today just before 3. I got their savory and filling chicken marsala crepe, and my favorite, their nutella crepe. Their crepes are light and tender, but what really sets them apart is their amazing sauces. The nutella crepe comes with this berry sauces made with fresh raspberries that is unmatched anywhere. I always ask for extra berry sauce!“
