“I had had the pleasure of attending two retreats that Jillian catered. Breakfast, lunch and dinner for three days. Not only is her food delicious, but Jillian made sure that everyone got their needs met, always offered vegan and gluten free options and still managed to make it all so tasty! Jillian is so much more than a great chef. She is a beautiful, conscious human being with a heart of gold. No wonder her food is so nourishing and yummy!“

“Curry puffs were good, crisp and very nice sauce. Thai iced tea on the less sweet side with very cute bear ice on top. Pad thai had some slightly undercooked noodles, not enough peanuts for texture, and what I think was tofu that was textured extremely dry.“

I was greeted as soon as I walked in and my first visit was nothing but a very nice experience. Two young men behind the counter seemed really friendly and helpful. The other customers in the store at the time seemed very happy. I came for alfajores today, but I will definitely go back for more alfajores and other goodies!“

I love to snack on many of my favorite biscotti varieties such as the dark chocolate dipped hazelnut, chocolate chip no nuts, orange dark chocolate dipped & the OMG LEMON WHITE chocolate is refreshing! They also have a unique pastry shaped like a clamshell & is super crispy flaky crunchy on the outside but baked with a savory sweet orange zest ricotta cheese filling inside. It's irresistable when its warmed up. Definitely worth a visit & a fantastic place to purchase year-round gifts & bring treats to the office. EVERYTHING IS SO GOOD!!!“

“Daigo in Palo Alto continues to impress every time we visit. We decided to skip the omakase and went all in ordering off the menu, getting two of everything and even three of a few standout dishes. That turned out to be the move.

The abalone dish is easily one of the best things we’ve ever eaten. Perfectly prepared, rich, and layered with flavor. It’s the kind of dish you keep thinking about long after the meal ends.

What really stands out is the consistency. Both visits delivered the same high level of freshness, execution, and attention to detail across every plate. Nothing felt rushed or overlooked.

The sake flight was another highlight, thoughtfully curated and pairing effortlessly with the variety of dishes we ordered. It elevated the entire experience and gave us a chance to explore different profiles alongside the food.

If you’re debating omakase versus ordering yourself, don’t hesitate to explore the menu. There’s so much to experience, and Daigo delivers across the board. This spot has officially earned a place in our regular rotation.

We also got a teriyaki salmon and assorted tempura. The salmon was a little over cooked. which I expected it to be better. All in all a great place for a good representation of Japanese cuisine.“

Had the expresso chicken burrito with red sauce, pork expresso burrito with green sauce, and expresso chicken and steak burrito with red sauce all burritos topped with sour cream, guacamole, onions, and salsa. Had all el loco drink very refreshing and beers and their hot chicken wings served with ranch and Chile sauce along with carrot slices and celery very good. Restaurant very clean and service was great and quick.“

“I had the Chicken Mix Bowl with the smokey chipotle sauce and it was AMAZING. I am allergic to dairy, gluten, and soy so being able to not worry about that with my meal was so nice. I also have ARFID (avoidant restrictive food intake disorder) and have a really hard with certain textures, usually chicken is really hard for me to eat but I had no issues with this chicken!! The texture was consistent all the way through, pulled apart really easily, and was just overall amazing. The portions are really good and the food is very flavorful. I'm really happy with my meal. Thank you guys for the amazing food. I highly recommend this place!!“
