“Watan Restaurant in Aurora really does not mess around when it comes to Afghan Kebabs. There's nothing quite like watching them fan the coals, grilling those Kebabs over the open flame, and then sliding them hot straight onto fresh naan. Would recommend trying to give them a visit; they are under new management, new owners are awesome great people. Would definitely go again and try their other dishes as well.“

“Our cake was decorated beautifully. The cake yellow cake was not moist but the raspberry filling was delicious. The instructions were to refrigerate until an hour and a half before serving. When we were ready to eat it the frosting was thick and not and soft like a butter cream frosting should be. We would try their pastries but would not buy another cake. Their cake prices are high comparted to other bakery cake prices.“

“It was my first time going here and it was so amazing! The pans were delicious and it opens at a perfect time (8AM) an hour before the other panaderías! I got 1 horn, 1 long one with the creme filling, 3 conchas, 1 pink cookie, and 2 besitos and it totalled to $12! I love that they also have little accessories for cakes and candies and drinks! They do take Google and Apple pay. And cash I believe. I love the plants and the decorations they also had around the store!“

“Been frequenting 'the Devil' for 19 years now. Recently moved to Seattle, and it is the ONE thing I miss most about Denver. Yes, the ambiance isn't spectacular. In fact, it's kinda tired in a friendly way. However, the people are friendly/efficient and the pastries are the best ever - anywhere. I strongly suggest the kouign amann. It's softer than most kouign amanns, and far superior to any I've had (and that's a LONG list from many different cities). The almond croissants are also top drawer. Try them all! You can't go wrong.“

“It's a little store connected to the Entenmanns bakery. Lots of beads, donuts, pastries, they sell some bimbo products, and little bites, too. The only thing that's kinda annoying is they have all kinds of the little bites muffins, except the ONE I was looking for. Otherwise the store is very clean, well lit, it's just basically one large room with small aisles. Easy to find things. I love this store.“

If you like chesnuts, he makes a lot of chesnut centered bakery item. The cheese bread was good (my daughter loved it and ate it all - she’s really picky too). We will definitely be coming back as regulars to this guy. The guy is super kind which I feel like gave his bakery a lot of character. He had generously given us samples of things too. Give it a try if you like things like Japanese moist cakes and other asian pastries. He does some European style stuff like the cheese bread, etc etc.“

“Besides their delicious cakes this store has AMAZING customer service. We ordered a cake to be delivered to a co worker, in the notes I asked IF the delivery person was comfortable they could sing her happy birthday. My co worker called me that morning and said the woman who delivered the cakes did just that, sang her happy birthday on her front step!! Since we weren't able to celebrate together because of quarantine this was such a sweet gesture. Will definitely order from them again and can't recommend them enough! :)“
