The food is exceptional the place is spotless and you can't get a better staff. They even have their own grocery store so if you like it. You can buy it and make it at home. Great place for sure.”

I had the pork belly, and it wad cooked to perfection. The sesame oil sauce and the in house made red sauce was delicious. I honestly couldn't decide which was better. I will be returning and making this place a regular spot for me going forward.”

“The food was fantastic. No complaints. We got lobster with steak, birria, Buffalo, salmon, and fries. Not a single complaint about the food. They were out of steak and asked what we wanted to have instead. We asked for more lobster and/or shrimp. Raven refused on the basis of price difference(steak $6-shrimp $7-lobster $10). Our order was over about $250. I think they could of in the interest of customer service, the price difference of $5, and the amount of our overall order, the restaurant could have made the substitution. We even tipped on our carryout order. Again the food was great. We will definitely return but the customerservice was lacking.”

After a couple of minutes we were greeted by our server, “Ariel.” She was fantastic. She knew the menu well and made some great recommendations for us to try. Everything we had was simply amazing. From the short ribs to the Saigon French dip we were just blown away by the flavors. The calamari appetizer was great too. Then came the desserts. Ariel said they were life changing and she was right. We were visiting from Texas and cannot wait to come back in the future. Keep doing what you do. It is working.”

We have been here a few times now and every single time it has been great. The food and service are consistently good. Every server we have had was amazing. I used to work in restaurant industry for years so I notice the little things. I love to see multiple managers on the floor talking to customers, refilling drinks, running food. One server I have to point out is Jennifer, she’s never actually been our server but always remembers us, specifically my daughter who was having a meltdown one day and she offered to bring her a bowl of fruit. And we weren’t even in her section. Great service, thank you!”

We arrived and had to wait 90 plus minutes and they cared less. Beware they added a 3% mandatory hospitality fee and a 20% mandatory gratuity. All in all, they persuaded us not to return. 100% focus seemed to be on the business thier profits and minimal to us the patrons. We cued in the waiting area with others who also seemed to be waiting like us for thier over selling.”

I was expecting some dry rub but it was a sauce but I'm not sure what is traditional. I'd love to try other dishes. My only complaint was they took our entree order late after we already ate the appetizers so there was a very long wait to get our main dishes. Also, I think we overwhelmed the kitchen with our large party and other customers who came in after us then had a longer wait too. The parking is not ideal and is right next to a dispensary and the area while not too sketchy during daylight lunch time hours, I'm not sure I would come in the evening. I felt like I had to watch over my shoulder and be aware of my surroundings more? Either way, the food and experience was good apart from what I mentioned. if this establishment was in a better area, I think it would do exceptionally better. The staff were great too. My overall star rating is mostly based on food taste.”

“This Italian restaurant we visited in Colorado looks across a lake. Ristorante del Lago at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs specializes in Italian hospitality & cuisine with house-made pasta & wood-fired pizzas with a view. We dined here for dinner during our stay at The Broadmoor.
We arrived and were seated on the indoor patio with a view of the lake. Our server Megan was such a pleasure - she had fabulous recommendations, advised us on the most popular and seasonal items, and had the sweetest demeanor. She was a real testament to The Broadmoor’s commitment to exceptional service.
We started our meal with two Zero-Proof Specialties - the Meleto and the Lapo's Spritz. The Meleto was made with apple cider infusion, NA Ginger Beer, & Soda. The Lapo's Spritz was made wtih Lapo's NA Apertivo, Orange, Vanilla, Lemon, & Soda.
The Antipasti Misti was made with the Chef's selection of Formaggi & Salumi.
The Aosta Pizza was made with house-made sausage, charred pepper, roasted garlic, & fontina. The wood-fired cooking method gave the crust and toppings a lovely smoky, slightly charred flavor. The house-made sausage was meaty, and the fontina cheese (a semi-hard Italian cheese) provided a creamy, nutty flavor that melted beautifully over the pizza.
The Lobster Pappardelle was made with main lobster, cherry tomato, & saffron butter. The lobster had a delicate sweetness to it that was countered by the burst of acidity from the cherry tomatoes.
The Tortelli Al Brasato was made with braised veal stuffed pasta with roasted cipollini, red wine, rosemary, butter, and Parmigiano cheese. This seasonal pasta was a rich and flavorful dish with a complex taste profile. The braised veal filling imparted a deep, meaty flavor, while the red wine and rosemary added depth. The butter added a smooth, creamy texture to the pasta. This was our favorite pasta of the night.
Of course, we had to leave room for the homemade gelato. We had the Cookies & Cream, Strawberry, & Chocolate Crunch gelatos that were served in a beautiful silver goblet with a cookie on top.”

“WOW!!! Another One Of Our "GO-TO" Restaurants This restaurant has become one of our "GO-TO" restaurants when we come to or go through Colorado Springs. It is very conveniently located in the newer area on the north end of Colorado Springs. The food is fabulous and the menu feature of 1/2 sandwich and soup is just right for a light meal. The Monte Cristo sandwich is done perfectly!!! The chicken tender salad is always a favorite of my wife. Marie was on duty that evening - Leadship On Duty!!! Marie came by our table several times and when I see the leadership working the crowd it speaks volumes for the entire operation. Kirsti took care of our table and she frequently came by to make sure the food and service met our satisfaction. WOW!!! A super nice evening with great food, great service, and attention to detail.
