“This is one of our go to sushi spots in the area. Great sushi and drink selection. Really love their lunch specials, especially the bento box. It typically comes with shrimp and vegetable tempura, rice, soup or salad (both if you get the salmon bento), and 4 pieces of either tuna roll or California roll.

Also love that there is hardly ever a long wait, that there are lots of table options, and that the vibe is casual. Service is also awesome.“

“Fantastic place, you can't go wrong. The service is unmatched. The fish is very tender and fresh, especially if you follow the waiter's suggestions. They are very generous, as well. Rolls are well filled and flavorful, plus their special rolls are topped with cuts as well. You can get a large meal for two with drinks for around $100 out the door and will really feel you've got your money's worth. The decor is a bit strange, but it's kind of amusing and charming.“

“This is my first sushi after vacationing in Japan and I will definitely be going back. The tuna sashimi and fish was so fresh and tasted good! The service was amazing, they filled my tea right when I was thinking it was getting low every time. The fruit dessert at the end was such a wonderful touch and the fruit tasted so fresh and delicious. I also dined alone near the end of the day and they didn't rush me at all. In fact they told me to take my time and enjoy my tea at the end. I did NOT expect this good of sushi but I couldn't be happier with this experience. “Truly the best sushi in Denver and one of my most favorite restaurants ever! I absolutely love the heaven Roll and the Taki black pepper tuna rolls! I have gone to many coastal restaurants that serve sushi and none of them compare to Shiso sushi bar! They also have some nice non-fish items such as the teriyaki chicken bowl, my friend had ordered that before and it was really good! They truly are one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. They take extra precaution for cleanliness, customer service and quality of their food and I appreciate that so much! I often times will order their food to go as well and it always is a hit! Their dining service is nice as well and there is quite a bit of parking which is always a convenient addition to any restaurant. The owner Ken is a great guy and always remembers us and truly appreciates his customer base. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and like I said it’s one of my favorites! It’s also very close to Sloans Lake which is the perfect activity to do before dining in, check them out!“

Traditional Carnita Tacos – The street taco dream! Tender carnitas, cilantro, pickled red onions, and a salsa so good I wanted to take some home.

“Unique fusion restaurant in a residential area. Patty is a sweet lady who originally started this as a sushi restaurant but lost her sushi chef so she continued it to a fusion Thai and ramen shop. It serves some ramen dish that literally mix Thai curry. But they also serve traditional Thai and Japanese offerings. Curries are legit hot. The decor and ambience is very modern and the place is very clean. The area where this is located is a very nice residential area.
She told me that some people have issue understanding her because of her accent and she sometimes uses google translate with her phone to say in Thai what she intended in English. She told me some people sometimes are mad due to communication issues. Please people be nice she’s only been here a few years.
