“Overall a good experience. The wait was double what we expected. The food was very good. We came to this place when it was a bistro, so the atmosphere was excellent albeit hard surfaces which increase the volume.

I would recommend this place for sushi. The fish is very fresh and reasonably varied. Your not getting a high end mix of fish, but that's expected. The Nigiri had the appropriate mix of rice and fish, which most sushi restaurants do not get right. The Sashimi were cut in a very nice sized portion.

We will be back. 2 people are much faster to seat than 3-4 given the tables available.“

“My husband and I were craving a warm and delicious pho. Umami sushi and pho, a brand-new establishment in town, exceeded our expectations from the moment we entered. The aroma of delectable and fresh food was exceptional. We ordered a couple of pho and the broth's flavor was intensely delicious and warming. The fresh vegetables tasted remarkably fresh. The entire venue was nice and neat, and the staff were very friendly, making us feel at home. We will definitely return soon, eager to try their sushi. I highly recommend stopping by for succulent pho and sushi. Umami Sushi bar and Pho es Nuevo aquí en Aurora, fuimos por primera vez y pasó la prueba del sabor. El caldo tenía mucho sabor y sustancia. “Stopped in after a haircut next door at cedar, it wasn't busy in the late afternoon early eve which was really nice. I had Kin Nori Bar on my radar so it was a happy accident to be right next door. It was dark and chill which I loved. The menu is super minimal which is a good sign in my opinion.
Everything I had was amazing, I was so impressed, the toro with caviar was a perfect bite and the unagi was so light and buttery! Everything was really fresh and high quality. The waitress was lovely and the chefs on display were amazing. I can't wait to come back again for a date night!“

Their dining service is nice as well and there is quite a bit of parking which is always a convenient addition to any restaurant. The owner Ken is a great guy and always remembers us and truly appreciates his customer base. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and like I said it’s one of my favorites! Traditional Carnita Tacos – The street taco dream! Tender carnitas, cilantro, pickled red onions, and a salsa so good I wanted to take some home.

Okinawa Sushi on Tennyson serves some of the freshest sushi and sashimi I’ve had in Denver. Everything was fantastic — from the Yellowtail Jalapeño and Red Snapper Carpaccio to the specialty rolls like the Snow White and Playboy.

The fatty tuna nigiri was unreal — melt-in-your-mouth perfection. Beautiful presentation, great service, and a cozy spot right in one of Denver’s best streets. Can’t wait to come back!“

I absolutely love this sushi spot. It’s become one of my local favorites. The service has always been fantastic.

The Kenji Veggie Roll, Spicy Maki Roll, AAC Roll & their mussels are all amazing. The Kenji Veggie Roll has mango & cream cheese along with fresh veggies inside. The mussels are some of the best I’ve had in Colorado.

The fish tank was a plus too and all of the fish were really cute. I live right around the corner so I will definitely keep coming back.
