“We walked into Izakaya Cabin and felt like we were right back in Hokkaido. Authentic atmosphere for sure. We had a reservation, and the host seated us at a great table in the sushi loft that matched our reservation. Our server, Olivia, provided some of the best service we’ve had anywhere despite some challenges at some of her other tables. Great menu tour, and the specials from her as well. Drinks were amazing, Sake flight was top notch and included one of my all time favorites - Pearls of simplicity - (a sake I have given as a gift to a mentor from Sapporo), and the shave ice cocktails are unique and well done. The food was amazing. Highly recommend for an authentic Japanese cuisine experience.”

Grounded in the owner’s great-grandmother’s sourdough starter (named “Trisha”, because OF COURSE), this woman-owned gem is deliciousness at every turn. From the sourdough with black garlic butter to the house-made pasta to the flatbreads and finally bread pudding, everything was PERFECTION - well balanced, indulgent, DELICIOUS.
