I would recommend not skipping customers to make cake cups. I had to wait for the person in front of me to order then two other parties were helped before my cake cup was made.

By the time it was made - the person at the counter forgot what was going in it and I paid for a $6 cake cup with not what I asked for on it.

“When it comes to sweets, I do not care if things have gluten or not. I tried the blueberry GF muffin because it looked delicious and it was very good! Moist with good flavor and texture. I am excited to come back and try other items. Good customer service.“

“Absolutely phenomenal! I will be back every time I'm in Denver. I was nervous about the area as I was driving, I'm from out of town and not sure but please don't let that stop you. It's not a concern it just doesn't look like a fancy pastry place. But it has the heart, the love, and warmth and amazing food at an amazing price with such a kind lady. I ordered 3 things and my total was only 9 dollars and a little change. So tasty. “Ammonia reminds me of the Greek bakery in Chicago near where I was born 78 years ago. Its plain, unpretentious interior and hearing people speak Greek while enjoying their pastries and coffee give it a very warm charm for me. And they have the best spanakopita and yalaktaboureko.“

“Great place! A lot of variety for baked items with a menu of breakfast dishes as well. Really loved how fresh everything tasted and will definitely be back. Staff were also extremely nice. We enjoyed the lemon poppy seed scone which was very moist and buttery, along with the breakfast croissant which was a very solid breakfast sandwich.“

“My husband and I wanted to grab a bite to eat before hitting the Oakwell Beer Spa, and this was about the only option. However, it was a good one! We had Italian sandwiches that were loaded with fresh deli meats and veggies on fresh bread. We also had pistachio matchas that were really nice and well-balanced - not overly grassy like matcha can be sometimes. Thankfully it was a pleasant day becuase the only seating was outdoors. I didn't get a picture of the food since I was using my lap as a table, so I apologize for that. Very cute and yummy neighborhood café!“

“The baked goods here are delicious and the people are very nice. We have had tried their Naan, large Barbari style breads and their sesame bread. All of their breads have been awesome. The first time I went in it was pretty late and everything was put away but the last time I went they also had some pastry offerings up front. If you enjoy bread you will definitely enjoy this bakery.“

“Maggie’s macaron baking class was fun and very helpful. She gave great tips for executing a recipe successfully, starting to experiment with colors/flavors and shapes, and how to use different kitchen tools. It was fun hearing her tell about a training course she took with Amary Guichon! I would 100% recommend taking a class with her and would happily take another one in the future!“

“Devils food Bakery is an absolute gym in the heart of Wash Park community. It’s rare that coffee is amazing in a bakery, as usually it’s sub par. Not the coffe at DFB. It is the perfect pairing with their delicious array of baked goods. Don’t miss out on this spot. The only thing I will say is be prepared for lack of seating and parking. Seating outside would be a lovely addition to this space.“

“The best panderia in the Denver area. I got a variety of things, but my favorite was the pumpkin empanada. Everything was very fresh, not too sweet, and tasted homemade and authentic. Prices were extremely reasonable, the self-service area was very clean, and the staff was helpful and friendly. They also carried a variety of grocery items, fresh meat, hot food, prepacked and/or imported foods, and many other goods. If you'd like to buy conchas or other pan dulce in bulk, you can even call ahead and order a dozen. I'd definitely return and would recommend.“

“Sailor and the Crumbl Team in Cherry Creek are literally the best location in the country!

I travel with Xero Accounting Software all across the US working with Small Businesses and their Accountants. Many Crumbl cookies are not prompt, unprofessional, or don't have a good attitude... COMPLETE OPPOSITE at Cherry Creek.

“**2025 update - I recently ordered lactation cookies from Courtney and started them a couple days before my c section delivery and I swear they made such a big difference in my milk supply coming in right away - and are so good I had to tell my husband they were off limits! I am now completely hooked and reorder every two weeks. If you’re a new mom, soon to be mom, or just want to give the new mom in your life a gift - order these ASAP.

“It's a little store connected to the Entenmanns bakery. Lots of beads, donuts, pastries, they sell some bimbo products, and little bites, too. The only thing that's kinda annoying is they have all kinds of the little bites muffins, except the ONE I was looking for. Otherwise the store is very clean, well lit, it's just basically one large room with small aisles. Easy to find things. I love this store.“

I love coming here on a relaxed weekend morning. All the loaves I've tried have been delicious (I think their multigrain is super underrated). And they always have different/experimental pastries which are always bomb.

Only downside is you have to come early (like 9:30/10 at the latest) before things start running out.“

“This bakery is a Colorado staple to the Asian community - it's been here my entire life (30 years!) and is probably the one of the only true classic Chinese pink box bakeries in town.

If you grew up as a Viet kid here, you probably had their cakes at a couple weddings! They offer classic buns, dim sum and an array of other Chinese bakery staples.

One of those mom & pop places that is quintessential to an immigrant community- and hopefully sticks around for a long time.“
