“Truly the best sushi in Denver and one of my most favorite restaurants ever! I absolutely love the heaven Roll and the Taki black pepper tuna rolls! I have gone to many coastal restaurants that serve sushi and none of them compare to Shiso sushi bar! They also have some nice non-fish items such as the teriyaki chicken bowl, my friend had ordered that before and it was really good! They truly are one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. They take extra precaution for cleanliness, customer service and quality of their food and I appreciate that so much! I often times will order their food to go as well and it always is a hit! Their dining service is nice as well and there is quite a bit of parking which is always a convenient addition to any restaurant. The owner Ken is a great guy and always remembers us and truly appreciates his customer base. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and like I said it’s one of my favorites! It’s also very close to Sloans Lake which is the perfect activity to do before dining in, check them out!“

“Stopped in after a haircut next door at cedar, it wasn't busy in the late afternoon early eve which was really nice. I had Kin Nori Bar on my radar so it was a happy accident to be right next door. It was dark and chill which I loved. The menu is super minimal which is a good sign in my opinion.
Everything I had was amazing, I was so impressed, the toro with caviar was a perfect bite and the unagi was so light and buttery! Everything was really fresh and high quality. The waitress was lovely and the chefs on display were amazing. I can't wait to come back again for a date night!“

“Our miso soups and edamame arrived within two minutes of ordering despite Sushi Aji being at 100% seating capacity. Sushi platters followed quickly and the tuna and salmon lovers combo was one of the better bargains I've seen for Denver sushi with the tuna nigiri being melt in your mouth soft and the salmon fresh as well. All the rolls were great, the ginger was sharp and our server made sure we had everything we needed on a great cadence. We'll be back!“

“We eat at AKI at least twice a month. The sashimi & sushi is fresh, tasty & excellent. Along with our regular sushi & sashimi order, we usually order a seaweed salad, miso soup & shumai and these are always amazing. The sushi chefs are very skilled and the platters of sashimi and sushi are beautifully arranged. We will continue to eat at this restaurant and recommend it to all who love Japanese food.

This was our first visit here and I'm sad that we are just now discovering this place! We absolutely love sushi, but always seem to crave it on Mondays when our usual sushi spots are closed. We stumbled upon this place online and the restaurant looked nice and food looked yummy! I'm happy we gave it a try, this is now one of our favorites!

Restaurant is very clean, and laid out nicely! You have options to sit at tables, tables with booths, and also up at the sushi bar. The staff was very friendly and attentive, we were sat right away! It was refreshing that it wasn't too busy either!

Food was AMAZING! They unfortunately don't have All You Can Eat options, but it didn't matter to us since it was our first time here. We ordered the Hako sushi roll, Crazy Salmon Roll, Playboy Roll, and the Red Dragon Roll along with some of the nigiri. We also tried the Pork Gyoza. Everything was awesome! The Crazy Salmon Roll is on the spicy side, so be prepared! It was really good though! For dessert, we tried the Tiramisu. It was good, but next time I'll get the Mochi ice cream instead.

The staff was very attentive and friendly! The bathrooms were also very clean (yes, I pay attention to the bathrooms because dirty bathrooms usually means other areas are dirty too).

Chicken Flautas – These rolled tacos served in a cup were genius for a night at the bar, topped with fresh lettuce, tomato, and Cotija cheese.

Traditional Carnita Tacos – The street taco dream! Tender carnitas, cilantro, pickled red onions, and a salsa so good I wanted to take some home.

The combination of fantastic food, creative drinks, and lively ambiance makes Con Safos a place I’ll definitely return to. Highly recommend!“

I absolutely love this sushi spot. It’s become one of my local favorites. The service has always been fantastic.

The Kenji Veggie Roll, Spicy Maki Roll, AAC Roll & their mussels are all amazing. The Kenji Veggie Roll has mango & cream cheese along with fresh veggies inside. The mussels are some of the best I’ve had in Colorado.

The fish tank was a plus too and all of the fish were really cute. I live right around the corner so I will definitely keep coming back.
