“Has a good menu, tried a lot of the options. It’s a great lunch spot, and would be a good dinner choice. What was noted is how large the green tea mug is- that’s fantastic, and the bowl of edamame was also large. Minus a star reasoning- good food, quaint location, and friendly service, but nothing felt like “wow, I will brag about that meal”. And there are some sushi meals that I still think about today. So 4 is that’s it’s a good place to go, you’ll have really good meal, and it’ll be at the same cost of other places.“

“This was one of the best restaurant experiences I've had in a long time! The restaurant is so cute from the moment you walk in. A couple friends and I sat at the sushi bar, shared a bottle of sake, crab cheese wontons and several sushi rolls.

The sushi chefs were incredibly kind and surprised us with complimentary salmon nachos while we waited which were AMAZING. To top it all off, they brought us mochi ice cream for dessert.

Every single thing we ate was delicious and the staff made the entire experience feel so welcoming and special. Exceptional food, wonderful service, and such a fun atmosphere. I will definitely be back! 😊🍣✨“

Stopped by Fuyu Sushi after our softball game and had a fantastic experience. The service was incredibly fast, and our food came out lightning quick without sacrificing quality.

The fish was exceptionally fresh, and the smoked salmon was hands down the best I've had anywhere in Colorado. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the staff kept things moving efficiently even during a busy time.

Entering the restaurant feels like passing through a magic gateway into rural Japan where you get to savor authentic country cuisine. “The food has a homemade flavor that you don't really get from other places. I got the Chicken Katsu Don and you could tell it was hand prepped and made. The slightly sweet sauce paired nicely with the otherwise savory dish. I also tried the Karage and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was.

There is only 1 thing that keeps this away from 5 stars and thar is the Boba. I got the strawberry one and it was a bit too strong. Having almost a perfume flavor to it. But I also tried the normal milk tea and that was delicious, better than some milk tea specific places I have been too.“

“I came for the ramen because they make their broth in house as well as their noodles and after trying many other Denver ramen spots, so far the Shirayuki ramen is the best ramen I’ve had outside of Japan. The broth is insanely flavor and has a deep level of richness and texture. It’s perfect. The noodles are to die for IMO - hand pulled and the perfect size and consistency. Honestly I’m not sure what to fault this ramen on other than I want more.

The sushi is pretty good too but not amaaaazing. For the price though it’s an incredible value! Would (and have) already returned. And will likely keep coming back.

They also have some Japanese beers which I always enjoy.

I also wanna say their menus are really nice. 1 big 2 sided laminated page with a color menu. Super nice touch!

Staff is super friendly and welcoming and the decor as you walk in is inviting.

My ONLY complaint is there’s a weird sewage or garbage smell on the outside patio that’s quite off putting. We wanted to sit outside our 2nd time there but had to move indoors to not ruin our appetite.

But the ramen slaps and is my favorite in Denver so far 👌“

Peter, Christine, Eric, Ong and the rest of the team at Taki always make the experience special - even if its something as simple as a fun garnish on my plate or remembering my name and my favorite pieces.
I come around probably once a week since I live nearby, so I can walk home after enjoying a small bottle of sake.
Today I tired the hand rolls and was shocked by the sheer size and how absolutely stuffed they were! Also, the sake nigiri pieces are larger than life and I am obsessed with their umami red snapper and the beautiful presentation of the amaebi, sweet shrimp. I always get multiple orders of ikura and leave stuffed!

“We love Kobe An and have been patrons going back 30 years since they were in Lakewood. Marco has done an amazing job with the new -er location and his staff is well trained. His newer sushi chefs are doing a fantastic job which leaves him free to focus more on the front of the house. We told him tonight that the sushi is the best it’s been in the 30 years we’ve been going to his restaurants. The hamachi and mussels were outstanding, as were the rolls and cocktails. This is a perennial, family run establishment that serves traditional Japanese food. Everything on the menu is great, and there’s a dish for everyone; if you’re looking for a reliable and affordable Japanese spot for lunch, this is it.

Don’t care for nor listen to the negative reviews regarding “slow” service or whatever else people are nitpicking. The family that runs the restaurant works really hard every single day, providing delicious food and great service. Not everything is perfect, but thats how I like it; the waitress is an older Japanese lady who works extremely hard alongside her family in the kitchen; it is disheartening to see negative comments from people who are unable to understand how much work it takes to run a restaurant.
