“Definitely disappointing. The food at Alma Fonda Fina is flavorful, with standout dishes like the smoky tuna tostada, tacos, and frijoles. The cocktails were well-crafted too. However, the service was disappointing—our server only checked on us once, and no one asked if we wanted another drink. Let me say this again: we had one drink the whole time and this wasn't something we wanted. The seating was also uncomfortable, with my partner getting bumped repeatedly by passersby. While the food was good, the overall experience didn’t live up to Michelin star expectations. With better service and seating, it could shine, but right now, it feels more like a Bib Gourmand spot.

Edit: went again and everything was great. Though they tried to sit us in one of those middle tables. But honestly, I dont know what they hype is about. Definitely a 4 star for something that is difficult to get reservations for.“

Whoever is making the food at this place is surpassing any and every other *good* taco spot I’ve ever tried. The steak and chicken tacos were so perfectly cooked, flavorful and juicy - not doused in hot sauce or something spicy to cover up the flavors of real food made well… This is the work of a true chef and/or someone who has many layers of knowledge on how to marinade and season Mexican food to bring out the most vibrant and delicious flavors. Nothing is greasy, the meat isn’t rubbery or overcooked or skimpy portions. Everything is just the right portion (slightly larger than street tacos, so you don’t have to order 4 to feel full and get your money’s worth, 1-2 tacos with chips and queso or guac is plenty to feel happy with). Everything was incredibly fresh as well, including everything in the tacos, salsa, guacamole, tortillas. I would eat these tacos every day if I could.

It’s a bit of a small space, but exceptionally clean. Like… spotless, in the kitchen and in the dining areas and restrooms. Service was great. Not too loud, like most places that are blasting music - which was much more pleasant to the nervous system. Always appreciate low volume, chill environment to feel relaxed. “This Taco truck is THE BEST that I have ever had in Denver. The staff is so courteous and accommodating to whatever you need. The portion sizes are generous and the tacos are absolutely delicious. You can tell in your first bite the ingredients are fresh, and prepared traditionally. Definitely get the salsa, it has a kick but it takes the tacos to a whole other level!! Our waiter was so personable, the food was so yummy and so were the house margaritas. The latter are made from scratch and you can tell. The atmosphere is what I'd call basic but what impressed me was the cleanliness. The space was spotless. We'll definitely be back.“

“I love this place. Its so much better than Chipotle & Moe’s. The food tastes authentic/real. Its very reasonable prices. The guacamole is great. They have red & green jalapeño sauce. You can get red peppers & onions, green peppers & onions or both. The bar is very laid back. You can usually catch young people shooting the breeze or watching sports. The place is never packed but never empty. The staff is super friendly humble kind. They have an outdoor seating area at the one that I went to. Plenty of parking. I’m not so hot on trivia or drag queens. But its a very comfortable laid back environment. Safe for people of all ages. I usually get the quesadilla and I’m coming here from now on instead of Chipotle.“

Marlene was very helpful and invited us to a tasting where we gladly used her expertise to plan the menu for 70 people. Delivery and set up went smoothly and our guests raved about the quality and variety of items we had on the buffet. If you are planning an event with Mexican food, I can highly recommend Little George's as the caterer!“
