“We used to drive locally to castle rock venue but I was referred to this location in highlands ranch and the entire check list was demonstrably superior The place was ten times nicer ambiance and tastefully decorated and modern. Above all a very clean and well kept restaurant We had a fantastic hibachi chef. We got a sudden birthday disco like lighting surprise for my wife. The food was immaculate for all concerned. Our party of 8 truly had a wonderful time We would all strongly recommend it“

“This place was interesting and the food was pretty good. The shrimp fried rice was good and had a cheesy taste to it. Still not sure if it was cheese. The tuna tower looked small at first but was definitely a bigger meal than anticipated. All in all the sushi and other food was good.“

“Here is a combo review. One with takeout dishes and one with dine-in. Both experiences was great. This is the first place we went to when we moved to Castle Pines.

Food was delicious. I really loved the crispiness of the tofu. I was afraid that the dish in the takeout container would be soggy but it wasn't.

“Located in the heart of Greenwood Village, this casual restaurant offers an inviting atmosphere where you can indulge in delicious sushi and other Japanese fare. The comfortable setting, complemented by a well-stocked bar, makes it an ideal spot for both casual dining and special occasions.

We made a reservation just 30 minutes before our arrival, which turned out to be unnecessary. Since it was a chilly Sunday afternoon, the restaurant wasn't very busy at the time. However, we noticed it started to fill up as we approached dinner time, which speaks to its popularity.

We were excited to try a few specialties from the menu. Our selections included:
Yellowtail on Fire: A delicious appetizer featuring thinly sliced yellowtail sashimi, jalapeño, and cilantro, all drizzled with yuzu soy sauce.
Spicy King Crab Roll: This roll combined shrimp tempura and avocado on the inside, topped with Alaska king crab meat, four kinds of caviar, and a spicy mango sauce. It was a flavor explosion!
Toro Trio: A delightful combination of yellowtail toro, avocado, and scallion, topped with toro of tuna and salmon.

Each dish was incredibly fresh and practically melted in our mouths. We were so full that it was a challenge to finish everything, but it was absolutely worth it! The ambiance and decor of the restaurant were on point, creating a relaxing yet vibrant dining experience. Overall, we had a fantastic late lunch and left with satisfied palates. We will definitely be returning to explore more of the menu in the future!“

“Ended up here on accident when the neighboring restaurant closed early. Score that they did because the service and sushi were top notch great. They have 2 locations in CO that we are going to try when we get home; we live in the area.

We shared 6 rolls. The yellowtail Jalapeños, spicy crispy tuna, titanic, hamachi kama, Shrek, and sunshine. Loved them all. The hamachi kama was really good and because it was a slightly smaller cut, they comped us 20% on it. Very honest and nice establishment. The server was super nice and rolls came out quickly due to it being slower in the late afternoon.

Definitely recommend overall, and definitely better than Haleiwa Joe's if you are in this area of the island. We felt the food was a lot better as we tried Joe's the night before, though the gardens and ambience of Joe's was very nice.“

The decor and ambiance is very nice with several areas for tables. There is a bar and a sushi bar where patrons can sit as well.

The food is Japanese pub style with sushi and other traditional items

The less impressive was the service. It took a long time for a server to get our order in (unsure if they were understaffed).

Then the food came out way too quickly as we ordered appetizers and entrees and they didn't give time to finish appetizers before mains were served. This made our table overly crowded. Hopefully they can figure out this for future visits.

The bento box I ordered was very filling.

Next time I'd skip appetizer and just get an entree as the portions were much larger than expected.

There is plenty of parking as they have their own lot and overflow for the strip mall adjacent.“

I love the poke bowls at Tokyo Joe’s, so I placed an order, but received the wrong poke bowl with my order. Andrew, the manager, was tenacious at getting in contact with me to make it right. He made sure I was happy and would continue to be a repeat customer. I was back there the next day for a poke bowl, and Andrew came out to say hi and thank me for my business. They are serving up fantastic customer service, along with fresh and tasty poke bowls, so I highly recommend Tokyo Joe’s in Castle Rock!“

Usually they don’t (as in some places I go to) don’t season the vegetables and the tofu. But the tofu was well seasoned!. Fried rice was delicious. My friend got one of the Poké bowls. And she said it was really good too.“

“I got the titanic boat. The fish was fresh, but the nigiri wasn’t work it. You got enough fish anyways. I would just get sashimi and rolls. The fish was frozen and very cold. The miso soup had few ingredients and was mainly broth. The Godzilla roll was quite good.

It’s funny me and my wife spent about 30 min driving around town to multiple sushi restaurants, all jam packed and over an hour waits everywhere. “It has the most delicious Japanese food and most notably, great hospitality. If you're in Denver, this is the place to go for a delicious meal. Please call ahead for reservations. My friends rave about the food here. Don't forget to try the chocolate cake and pineapple flip cake. We will probably go back tonight because we loved it so much. They give out a free pineapple dessert as stock per table, sliced and chopped with powdered sugar and some plum sugar powder on it, and that was a pleasant surprise.
