“Great service, nice floor plan and spectacular selection of ales, pilsners, lagers, and more+. One of my FAVORITE things about this place is that they serve 3 different size glasses. This gives you the opportunity to try several different selections on their menu in 5oz glasses. Fantastic opportunity for customers to try different things without commiting to a large size. “Crossing the country back to California and lucky enough to find The Vintage Moose which is the kind of place you don’t stumble into very often anymore.

We stopped in back in October at an off hour with a mixed group with a young toddler and a handicapped mom in law and were met with genuine, effortless hospitality. Everyone was welcomed, everyone ate well, and no one felt rushed or out of place. The food was exactly what a mountain tavern should be: hearty, honest, and satisfying without trying too hard.

What really stands out is the vibe. It feels like real Colorado, super warm, unpretentious, and full of locals who seem truly rooted there. The proprietor made the experience even better, and we left already planning our return. A rare, authentic gem in Idaho Springs.”

“We enjoyed Clear Creek Cidery! Our waiter was very nice! Not sure of his name, but he greeted us when we walked in. He seated us and asked us how we were. He made sure we had everything we needed and even made sure my daughter was happy! He checked on us several times and made sure we were satisfied! The lady that was helping clean tables was very sweet as well! She was refilling drinks and even brought my daughter paper and crayons to draw with. Their on tap cider was very good! I tried the hard apple! My daughter’s chicken strip kids meal was very fresh! My husband loved the salmon appetizer! Everything is made fresh and homemade and you can really tell they value their business and customers! We loved this place and plan to go back when we visit Idaho Springs again!!”

“We stopped here on our cross country honeymoon, and decided on impulse to stop at the brewery. The food was so good, great portions, vibe was fun. The best part was our server Christian. He was such a delight and it truly made our experience. He was quick to make conversation with us and very interesting to talk to. He told us a bit about the area and gave us a few recommendations. If you get a chance to stop here definitely ask for Christian. You won’t regret it!”

“I was vacationing from Florida and traveled all over Colorado and tried 7 different coffee spots, and this one was my all time favorite! Their coffee is fresh roasted and the whipped cream is homemade (I normally hate whipped cream and I LOVED theirs!) Highly recommend going there, very cozy atmosphere and everyone was so nice!”

“OMG yall. The service 10/10 so kind. One of the ladies was solo when we came in and slammed. She acknowledged us and set expectations and kept checking in for the maybe 2 min we waited. So kind.

The food a million out of 10. We got the green chili sausage croissant was life changing. They heated it up and I was worried it would be soft or chewy and NOPE. It was warm and flakey and soft and crunchy. The seasoning on the outside was amazing. Literally can’t stop talking about it good. So good I walked back in to tell them.

My favorite part while standing in there you can see the mixers and sugar and you know the are making these things with love. We got a honey almond loaf for later I cannot wait to try. Please visit this shop!!!”
