“My husband and I have been going to Jamestown Merc frequently. The food is always outstanding, the atmosphere casual and cozy and the music top notch. The menu varies and quite honestly is some of the best food we have had consistently anywhere.“

“Just got home from visiting my cousin in Colorado. This place is beautiful, and the food very good. I am not a tea person, but I was a little disappointed that they were out of the chocolate orange tea, because I really wanted to try it. Instead I ended up with a huckleberry tea, which was good. My cousin ordered one of the wellness teas.
We had dinner plans, so we just had something light. We ordered 3 appetizers to share. We had Char Siu Bao, Indian Samosas, and a rolled eggplant dish. They were all delicious.
Next time I visit my cousin, we will definitely go back for a real meal.“

“We were unlucky enough to have a clutch cable snap on my motorcycle, but lucky enough that it happened not too far from Spirit Hound. The staff were amazing. They brought us iced water and checked on us while we made towing arrangements (it was super hot outside!). We decided to make the best of a bad thing and wait in the distillery. The cocktails were incredible, the charcuterie was amazing, and the staff and atmosphere were great. Despite the situation, we thoroughly enjoyed our accidental afternoon at Spirit Hound and we look forward to returning on purpose one day soon!“

“This is a cafe with a delightful atmosphere and staff. The amount of living plants indoors was impressive. I enjoyed their chai boba tea, sweetened to one’s preference. The staff loved my dogs so I’d consider this a dog friendly place! 10/10 would come back and recommend!“

“The staff were incredibly friendly from the moment we walked in and very accommodating with our last-minute reservation change. Even though we had an extra adult join us, they managed to seat our group right away. Everyone was patient and attentive the woman at the bar was especially thoughtful, quickly coming over to offer a lidded cup for my toddler. I ordered the paella with a few modifications due to food preferences, and they were more than happy to make the adjustments. As our group trickled in and we caught up with one another, the staff worked seamlessly around us, taking drink and tapas orders without ever making us feel rushed. They checked in often, refilled drinks, and brought out food promptly. Overall, it was a wonderful experience I'd highly recommend this place. The food was excellent; we especially loved the hummus, truffle fries, trumpet mushrooms, and beef ragu gnocchi. Every dish was delicious, and the drinks were fantastic too.“

“We hosted a party here last weekend. What a great place! Everything was incredible! The staff was so nice and so attentive. The food was delicious. We had a heavy hors d' oeuvres: pretzels with beer cheese, piorogies, chicken schnitzel sandwhiches, sausage, and spatzel. The beer and atmosphere were the best. “One of my favorite cafés in Boulder. Especially the location in South Boulder is what makes me love this café the barista and people who work there are always so kind and I really really enjoy their menu. I especially LOVE their seasonal strawberry Matcha latte as well as their avocado toast. I like to add some smoked salmon on my avocado toast to add some protein and they always are really open to any modifications. As a gluten-free person, I am really impressed by their gluten-free bread as it tastes delicious and absolutely fabulous. I love the different seating opportunities and the general vibe of this café. Definitely a must visit if you’re in Boulder, Colorado.🐞⭐️😽“

Salads were excellent as were the charcuterie options.

Service: we sat at the bar and loved hanging out with Jessica, the bartender.

“All COVID procedures are being well enforced. This little place is AWESOME! I wandered in by Cvs chance today and was delighted to see such a wide variety of sandwiches. Upon employee recommend I tried the Ferris Brieller and I didn’t know “pesto jam” is a thing (still not entirely sure what it is...) but it is AWESOME. By far one of the best things I’ve put in my mouth— hands down. I just started working at CU and I can already tell this place is going to make a gluten out of me.“

“Shout out to the staff at Moxie Mercantile! My wife and I parked on the street next to their building today and went to walk around Main Street shops in Lyons, Co. I must have left the accessory on in my truck when I gapped the windows. When I came back to start the truck to let it cool off, it was completely dead. I went in to ask if there was a towing service in town that could give me a jump. The folks behind the counter said they weren’t sure. The next thing I know, one of the guys behind the counter brings me a jump start battery pack. I was blown away! I went out to jump the truck and was waiting for my battery to charge up. Just then, one of the other workers who was getting off at the end of her shift stopped to ask if I wanted her to jump it with her car. She pulled right up and we jumped the truck. We were on our way in no time, that is, after I got my quad iced espresso that had been frustratingly delayed by my battery. The coffee was good, but the service was sensational! Great people working at Moxie Mercantile! We will definitely stop in on our next visit from Iowa. Thank you so much!“

“A busy little cafe on Pearl Street. The coffee was excellent, albeit we felt the cup sizes were smaller than in other cafés. We enjoyed the coffee cakes (the banana nut flavor was our favorite) and there was a diaper changing station available in the restroom for our baby, which was extremely helpful. It was a little hard to find tables for the four of us, but we were able to make do.“
