Kid-friendliness: Easy to find a good kid option. My daughter loved the salmon poke bowl. My son is pickier, but likes the kids rice/noodles with chicken nuggets and teriyaki sauce.“

“My family and I went here Sunday night and had such an amazing experience! The atmosphere was so lively and all the saff that we interacted with were very friendly. Our server, Tommy, was very kind and friendly. He was great about checking to make sure we were doing well, was on top with refills, reassured us with when our food was coming out, was patient with our chaoticness, and all and all was a delight to talk to and be served by. My family couldn't stop talking about how awesome and down to earth he was after we left. This place has amazing food, and great staff. Ten out of ten, will be coming back I'm the future!“

“Truly the best sushi in Denver and one of my most favorite restaurants ever! I absolutely love the heaven Roll and the Taki black pepper tuna rolls! I have gone to many coastal restaurants that serve sushi and none of them compare to Shiso sushi bar! They also have some nice non-fish items such as the teriyaki chicken bowl, my friend had ordered that before and it was really good! They truly are one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. They take extra precaution for cleanliness, customer service and quality of their food and I appreciate that so much! I often times will order their food to go as well and it always is a hit! Their dining service is nice as well and there is quite a bit of parking which is always a convenient addition to any restaurant. The owner Ken is a great guy and always remembers us and truly appreciates his customer base. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and like I said it’s one of my favorites! It’s also very close to Sloans Lake which is the perfect activity to do before dining in, check them out!“

“I got the titanic boat. The fish was fresh, but the nigiri wasn’t work it. You got enough fish anyways. I would just get sashimi and rolls. The fish was frozen and very cold. The miso soup had few ingredients and was mainly broth. The Godzilla roll was quite good.

Parking: The restaurant was difficult to find.“

“This is my first sushi after vacationing in Japan and I will definitely be going back. The tuna sashimi and fish was so fresh and tasted good! The service was amazing, they filled my tea right when I was thinking it was getting low every time. The fruit dessert at the end was such a wonderful touch and the fruit tasted so fresh and delicious. I also dined alone near the end of the day and they didn't rush me at all. In fact they told me to take my time and enjoy my tea at the end. I did NOT expect this good of sushi but I couldn't be happier with this experience. I'm telling my friends about this place for sure!“

“Blue is always great sushi, our favorite place to go, for happy hour especially. It was easy to get a table last minute in a Friday night, but the service was a little slower than usual. We were sat at a booth in the bar and the bartender was our server so it took a while to get our drinks or food as she was also serving the bar top customers as well. The atmosphere is peaceful, the service is friendly and impeccable, and the food is affordable, delicious, and authentic. Aside from a large variety of every type of sushi you can imagine, they have a number of other dishes. As a vegan, they have plenty of options for me, and I highly recommend the sweet potato roll - it's my go-to. Stop by for a relaxing lunch break or for a lovely dinner, you won't regret it!“

“Visited on a Thursday in late October 2024. Location off of main strip in beautiful Golden. Miso soup is very good, and not overly salty, abundant tofu and seaweed. My photos do the sushi zero justice. Rice fully, generously wrapped. Tobiko properly crisp. Tuna had to have been swimming this morning.“

“You ever have go out for sushi but wish you had some greens that really compliment your meal? Okinawa's black pepper tuna salad isn't a lot of greens, but comes with a generous portion of tuna that melts in your mouth. Really a deal anytime anywhere but it just fits well with rolls, sushi and sashimi. Superb service. Friendly folks.“
