“I love stopping by Nonna Gina's to grab a quick lunch or dinner. They have a wide selection of different dishes, including soups, sandwiches, salads, appetizer options and meals. They also have pasta, different police oils and family size meals.
The staff is always friendly and accommodating when I go. It's a great option for when you need a quick meal and don't want to cook!“

“A few months ago we saw this pizza place and decided let’s give it a try. It has quickly become my go to spot in north haven. The staff is always awesome and the pizza just keeps getting better and better tonight I don’t know who was making the pizza but it was amazing. Thank you guys.“

“The BEST pizza!!! Always crisp bottom, perfect crust and fresh ingredients. The staff is wonderful and the restaurant is charming and clean. If you're in a hurry they have pizza by the slice for a quick lunch. Highly recommend.“
“Good food, friendly environment community oriented. These are just a few things that come to mind when I think of the boys down there. Never have issues with the staff. Definitely worth checking out if you in the area and looking for something quick to eat or any general convenience items.“

“Happy to have sweet green on New Haven. While service has been good, I’ve been disappointed with the greens being wilted sometimes. Also the proteins (tofu, chicken) and ingredients like spicy broccoli are often way over salted.
***12/11 update: whoever is working and preparing the ingredients today did a great job. The chicken is nicely shredded and the cucumbers don’t have big chunks of skin on them, the dressings taste extra fresh. I eat here several times per week and wanted to point out noticeable difference today“

“Our server Devine was amazing and so well poised. The appetizers of meatballs and their charcuterie was presented beautifully. The only issue was with dinner. We got the squid ink pasta and the filet. You could 110% taste the food was high quality and fresh but it missed the mark for us on taste. It lacked so much flavor. If you’re looking for a good simple meal with 5 star service, this is the place but if you’re looking for dishes that the chef cares about flavor and excitement, this restaurant lacks in that. It was a good experience over all but we were just disappointed because there’s so much potential for it to be a restaurant where you go back specifically for that one dish because it tasted so good.“

“During lunch break from having to serve jury duty I found this coffee shop down the street and decided to pop in. The two behind the counter were very friendly and inviting, and the special grilled cheese with tomato or bacon with soup was PERFECT . the chicken corn chowder came out piping hot and didn't even need any salt or pepper. I'm usually skeptical when someone has to make my coffee instead of me doing it, but unlike dunkin donuts the gentleman made it just right! they seem to have a familiar and friendly customer fan base, and I would definitely go back again.“

“Usually their salads are delicious. But today i came by, right when they opened up (prob a mistake) and ordered a crispy chicken salad … My salad was done in about 5 mins …. ( how can chicken be cooked that fast?) Anyway, i tried to eat the salad for dinner. My croutons were stale, the bread was stale and tomatoes along with the cucumbers tasted like theve been sitting out from the night before. I doubt chicken was freshly made. I’m so disappointed. Next time i know not to come right when they open up.“

“I really don’t post reviews but this food was soooo good I have to. I’m a woman raised by a Southern Belle who cooked, catered and was well-known in the food arena. I had fried chicken, collard greens and potato salad. Closest meal I’ve ever had to my mother’s cooking. So well cooked. Thank you for a wonderful Sunday dinner. Hats off to the Chef! “One of my top 3 favorite Diners in CT. Grew up in 80-90s going here. Still go back on occasion and it never disappoints. That spinning Desert cabinet was always the favorite of the table!“

“Had state street for the first time today after a hockey game. It was super busy but they quickly got us seated nonetheless. The food was SO GOOD. Well worth the price! The siracha maple syrup is FANTASTIC.“

“The party size pizza has really thin crust. And the extremely thinner parts of the crust were burnt. However, I loved the deep dark red color of the sauce and it was delicious.
Not much parking even for pick up.
It was really cold inside.
However, I'm not giving it a bad rating. I'm just not a fan of the thin crust, if I had known I wouldn't have ordered it.
I'll still willing to give another try. 😉“
