“Ten of us celebrated my daughter's birthday on Sunday afternoon. The restaurant has a very cozy atmosphere. We were all pleasantly surprised by the exceptionally friendly and professional staff. Our waiter was Zack; he was fantastic and didn't miss a beat. He made us all feel like special guests. The other staff who assisted were also very attentive. And, I have to mention that the guys who assembled to sing to my daughter, sang the best version of happy birthday we've ever heard performed at a restaurant - they were terrific. It was a fun and memorable experience and we will be back.“

“My husband and I recently hosted our baby shower for our first baby at Flinder's last weekend (3/21/26), and we couldn't have been happier with the experience. We hosted roughly 55 people and utilized the entire restaurant for our private event (restaurant buyout). From the onset, Ross and Eric (Mgr. + Assistant Mgr.) were incredibly friendly, responsive to all my questions via email, and agreed to meet not once, but TWICE in-person to ensure all details were accounted for, and that our requests would be accommodated. The event ran smoothly because of their professionalism and attention to detail. During the event, the kitchen, bar, and wait staff were incredibly attentive, kind, friendly, and honestly felt like part of the party the entire time. Our family and friends raved about the entire experience, including the service, the food, and the configuration of the space. We left smiling from ear-to-ear, and are incredibly grateful to everyone at Flinder's for helping to make our baby shower a great success!“

“Second time here. Good spot but 1 person in our group ordered the steak medium rare. First time steak came out was cooked well done and we sent it back. After 20 or so minutes the redo steak came out and was still overcooked but we were so hungry we just ate it.“

“we had everything from 5 different appetizers, to four entrees and 5 different desserts. We go out to eat all the time but have never gone here. So we tried it, the restaurant itself is gorgeous. The servers were very friendly and professional and on the ball. The food omg. What can I say it was magnificant. The manager came around and made sure everyone was happy, then the owner Danny came in and introduced himself. This is the best restaurant we have ever been to with the best food we have ever tasted. As I said we eat out alot but nothing compares. Hats off to all the staff and the owner. Well done. Cant wait to go back.“

“Our favorite restaurant, we go there every week or so!“

“Our first experience with this restaurant and we went during restaurant week on the last Saturday night, needless to say we were very happy! This is a gem on High Ridge road I wish I had discovered sooner. Menu selections are excellent and their offerings for restaurant week were wonderful, also a nod for honoring the promotional menu on a Saturday night which apparently isn't easy to find. Portion sizes of appetizes: Caesar salad, escargot and mix green salads all wonderful. Entrees of Chicken parm over linguini, Roasted Pork Chop and Crispy Skin Salomon all were of generous size cooked to perfection and very well seasoned. A bit more of the wonderful marinara sauce would have been great for the chicken parm. Service was a bit delayed as they were very busy, but our server was always wonderful, pleasant and very helpful! Overall experience truly outstanding and we are looking forward to visiting again and partaking in the full menu. Once again, I am happy to have discovered this restaurant which is partly what I enjoy restaurant week for...trying new places. I encourage you to try The Ridges as well!“

We had a dip, a burger, and a salad, which were all beyond our expectation. I would use the term 'fine' as they were all compelling. Lastly, our server Anna showed what true hospitality is. We feel so welcomed and relieved to be hassle free during our moments here. The only drawback was that train never passed while dining and our daughter was a bit disappointed 🫠“

“Catering Party @ Sally’s Apizza Fairfield On Saturday September 13, 2025, we celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary. The food, service and staff were phenomenal. We all know how great the pizza is, but the appetizers and salads were equally great. I can’t say enough about the wonderful servers, Dan and Brandon. There were efficient, kind, friendly and polite. They went out of their way to insure everyone was having a great time. The bartenders and other staff went a long way to help make everyone enjoy the party. I also want to thank the General Manager, James Layfield and the Catering Manager, Helen Blanchard for their exceptional service and hospitality. “This place did not disappoint. As someone new to Stamford’s food scene, I was looking for somewhere with an easygoing yet slightly upscale atmosphere. The bar was a lovely spot to catch up with friends over delicious drinks and appetizers. I had a wonderful dinner, and my friends enjoyed their meals as well. “I was a vit skeptical at the beginning after reading all of the bad reviews, but as a Peruvian I approve! The food of course can't be compared to a meal from a mercado in Lima or from Miami, but this location has done well. I ordered the ceviche and my aunt had a tamal and papa a la huancaina.
Everything came within 10 minutes and food was delicious, again don't expect a lot, but it is better than your average peruvian restaurant in the US“
