“We had the mediterranean bowl to share it was fantastic! The lobster skewers special with lemon-butter, were delicious, flavorful and well cooked. For our entrees we had the filet mignon, once again super delicious. We tried the gnocchi with sausage and chicken with vodka sauce and the cajun penne pasta. The berry berry crisp and cappuccinos to top our meal off. The server was attentive. We'll keep coming back.“

He offered his professional opinion on drinks, specials, dinner options and dessert. The restaurant was extremely busy for a Saturday evening but the staff never missed a beat. They mingled with every table, making sure everything was up to expectations. From appetizers to wine selection, from entrees to dessert, nothing was less than perfect. “I enjoyed a amazing dinner with outstanding service. The food was fresh, full of flavor, filling and plated to perfection. I had a guava margarita with a tagin rim that I wanted to drink by the gallon. The atmosphere is cozy yet spacious, romantic and luxurious. Even the bathroom is beautiful with plenty of mirrors. “I want to start off by saying for the past 20+ years I always went to Rio (IMO is not god any longer) Well, last week I went to Don Carmelo’s with some friends and wow! The food was amazing, the inside was warm and cozy and the topper was that Maria who used to work at Rio (who I love) was the new owner of Don Carmelo’s!! “Washington Prime, regularly on lists of top steakhouses in the state of Connecticut, is a treat. This was our third outing to this establishment, and it did not disappoint this time. For appetizers, we went with the French Onion Soup ($15), American Soul Rolls ($18), and Oysters Rockefeller ($17). The French Onion Soup was delicious, cheesy, and rich, and had a slight undertone of sweetness that worked perfectly but took me by surprise. The spring rolls, which had a filling of broccoli rabe, mashed potato, a four-cheese blend, and sausage, were savory and had the perfect crisp. The Osyer Rockefeller was garlicky, buttery, and a great bite before the rest of the meal. For entrees, we ordered the 22 oz Wet Aged Ribeye ($65), and the Wagyu Meatloaf ($81). The ribeye was a PERFECT medium rare, served with creamy spreadable roasted garlic, and cut like butter. It lacked a LITTLE bit of salt but was seared beautifully, with just the right amount of char. The meatloaf was soft and tender as well, and was served with a truffle potato puree, which tasted delicious, but was a tad grainy, and lacking the smoothness I'd expect from a puree. For dessert, we got the Carrot Cake ($12) and the Chocolate Bomb ($12). The Chocolate Bomb is a chilled chocolate half sphere, filled with a luscious, velvet chocolate mousse, with whipped cream, that was perfect, despite the whipped cream being slightly melted. The Carrot Cake was decent-tasting and moist, though the sauce it was served with lacked some flavor. Washington Prime's service is commendable, and the ambiance is great, especially in the backroom, where we were seated, which was quiet, intimate, and away from the noisiness of the rest of the dining room. Coupled with delicious food, Washington Prime is a home run.“
“We had a delicious date night dinner out at The Spread. We sat in the covered, heated outdoor dining space and the lighting and fireplace made it very cozy and enjoyable. The food was delicious - we ordered smaller plates to share. The service was very attentive, almost to a fault. The bus staff was very on top of filling our waters the second we took a sip and taking plates the moment the last bite was taken. There were many staff members in the outdoor space that we felt that we were being watched as we ate, and they were ready to pounce and clear the table as soon as we finished something. We did feel rushed, which was the only downfall of the meal.“

“This may be one of Norwalk's most underrated restaurants. Aji 10 is a Peruvian and Japanese fusion. If that doesn't excite you, then I don't know what will. The food here is spectacular. The chicharron is juicy and crispy, just the way I like it and they pair it with tostones and a salsa which adds a complimentary freshness to the deep fried, delicious pork. I ordered sushi (Rainbow Roll Acevichado) for my entree which came three different fish and a roll with plantains. The plantain sushi was my favorite out of all of them--I could probably eat 50 of them.“

Something that sets the Zucca brunch experience apart from start to finish is the VIBRANCE. From delicious food full of fresh produce like our excellent frittata and french toast, fun mimosa flights perfect to celebrate with friends, and the super unique wallpaper, brunch at Zucca is a colorful experience through and through. The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous (even the bathroom!) and the food is next level. I'm dying to go back to try the pastas, and I loved their simple but delicious caesar salad at my event. The staff was also so accommodating. Zucca's INCREDIBLE owner, Kirsten, is the reason my bridal shower was such a success. Kirsten's level of professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine passion shines through from the minute you contact her, not to mention how reasonably priced their events menu is. Plus, a convenient location for guests traveling on the train! Kirsten is the reason to book your event at Zucca. She not only assisted with event design, decor, set up, and breakdown, but also kindly accepted all of our questions and was a constant (but never annoying) presence throughout our event. Instead of getting stringy, shredded chicken, the salads are topped with a perfectly cooked and seasoned chicken breasts. Brunch options are terrific; my husband loved his sausage and biscuits. Sandwiches are made with fresh ingredients - freshly baked bread, crisp lettuce and flavorful proteins. Kids meals options are great to accommodate picky eaters to more healthy minded families. Service is friendly and professional. We had a lovely conversation with our server, a young Egyptian-American who made us feel comfortable and made our lunch an enjoyable experience. After dining at Pinstripes and Yardhouse with mixed experiences, I can firmly say that Bazille is the best lunch option in terms of quality, value and service.“

“This place was good in theory, however it did not deliver what I thought it was going to. I love the decor, ambiance, the service was amazing and the staff were so accommodating. But, the food quality was just not matching the price range or living up to its name. The arancini and my mango mule were SOOOO good. The hanger steak dish was also delicious - especially the mashed potatoes. However, we got the mussels and they were incredibly fishy and we had to send them back - our waiter and the manager were very accommodating. The short rib ravioli was weirdly thick and the sauce was non existent - this could use some improvement. The cheesecake was good/bad at the same time - the crust almost tasted not cooked and weirdly textured but the cream was good. I also loved that the waiter and the manager asked where the room for improvement was in our meal. You can tell they're trying their best to keep up with the crowd AND keep on improving! Overall, I would definitely come back if the food improved because it was a very nice atmosphere and the staff were great!“

Cocktails were very good, consistent and potent, our server Jesus was on top of everything, very attentive and nice, they had an awesome DJ playing Latin music, the crowd was enjoying the music, dancing and drinking. The space is somewhat small, and you have to take the elevator down to the bathrooms. Get there early if you want to grab a table. I definitely would recommend it.“
“Very good food and beverages and our waitress guided me carefully through the menu to accommodate a gluten allergy. The daily oysters were fantastic, and we enjoyed the other items we ordered very much: fish tacos, vegetable salad, miso salmon, and a dry rose wine. Subtracting a star because we were forgotten for a while after being seated (more than 15 minutes) and then the bartender opened the door to take out the mats and garbage and left it open for a long time when it was below freezing outside. We froze and that ruined the romantic vibe.“
