“Man, the spicy fish sandwich here is one of my favorite sandwiches in the state. I can’t quite put my finger on exactly what that sauce is but it is perfect. Not too spicy, but just enough flavor. Combine that with a perfectly crispy piece of fish, and you really got something special. Staff is friendly, fast service. Love coming here.“

Fluorescent lighting in a fine dining establishment is the worst. Please...please ...please put in recessed lighting that can be dimmed to make for a romantic dining experience.“

“You want to talk about a hidden seafood GEM with a VIEW? Just come here. It gives off shoreline picnic table vibes overlooking the ct river just feet away. You can watch the boats go by and the oldest ferry in the United States! The food is slightly pricey but I promise you will get what you pay for in portions. Best lobster roll I have had in YEARS. Hot food was hot and cold food was cold. Everything was made to order. Service was quick and friendly. Does it get better than that?!“

“Went here for lunch with my sister! I couldn’t believe how packed they were on a Monday! No wonder- the food and drink were ON POINT! Our waiter was very attentive and informative on wine. We shared the spinach and artichoke dip- delicious! I had the harvest vegetable bowl and added steak. The flavors mixed so well creating a palette of fresh, and my steak was cooked perfectly! My sister got the burger and a Cesar salad. The dressing was really fresh and lemony! The burger was delish as well! I will definitely be back! All the food I watched going by looked like 10 stars!“

“The sushi here is fantastic, though it was a bit of a learning curve for our daughter! She wasn't a fan of the sushi texture but loved the hibachi. It’s a great place to introduce kids to new foods with their bento box options. Highly recommend the food, but the seating is a little uncomfortable, so takeout is the way to go.“

“This dining spot is located in the Marriott Hotel on Day Hill Road. After work, my guest and I stopped in for apps and drinks. We enjoyed the Point Judith Calamari and the wings.
The inviting atmosphere and excellent service make this dining experience a plus for business travelers. The menu is a little pricey but not out of line for 4-star hotels.

“My son loves this place. Usually he's a big Mac kid but I was lazy and placed a order for the double cheese burger it was delivered fresh and hot. The burger was huge he was like this burger is big. Needless to say he don't ask for Big Macs no more he asks for the big burger. I went in person and placed a order the workers were kind and food did not disappoint. This is our new burger place.“

“I’m not sure why the recent reviews I’m reading through now are on the negative side! My husband and I accidentally stumbled upon this restaurant (we happened to be in the area), and immediately were met with excellent hospitality. I am gluten free and vegetarian, so finding a place with kind servers and food I can eat is becoming increasingly difficult. They serve complimentary bread up front (which most restaurants don’t even bother with anymore) and have an option for gluten free bread(if you ask for it) at a slight up-charge. I ordered the Korean rice bowl and my husband ordered the Rigatoni Bolognese..the food came out super fast and was delicious. I have a very low spice tolerance, so I thought my bowl was on the slightly spicier side..but it’s Korean style food so that’s to be expected. We ordered a peanut butter bar for dessert, also gluten free. I didn’t get a picture unfortunately, but it’s was super rich but not too sweet. Definitely worth the trip!! People need to start writing more positive reviews for places because this restaurant definitely deserves more positivity.“

“Hey, it's your girl Honest Review. So I stopped by this restaurant downtown Hartford, because I was on my way to have dinner with my neighbors. So there's an event during the summer called the Long Table, you should check it out next year. I needed something quick to pick up, and th8s restaurant came through. Because this was takeout, I didn't get to sit and enjoy the atmosphere. But I definitely will visit again. Customer service was very good. The price was decent, definitely huge portions. They are so good/fresh and always so great at accommodating any special requests.
