“Cover Two used to be our go to for wings and other good food close to home. The last two experiences were disappointing. We repeatedly have 3 people crammed on a two top with no room for our food and having to place our beverages on the rail on the wall. There were several open tables with slightly more room, but we were simply moved to another two person table after complaining about the lack of space. We ordered two dishes that included marinara sauce on them. Chicken parmigiana and pasta. There was hardly any sauce on either dish. We told the waitress that there wasn’t nearly enough. We were brought two plastic containers with a little more sauce and to our surprise was charged $2 extra for something that should have been included in the entree.“

“I went to Whitlock's a couple of weekends ago and had the absolute best meal. I ordered the French dip and it was mouthwatering good. My server's name was Tisha and she was honestly one of the best server's I've ever meet. Her smile light up the room and she went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I were happy from the time I walked in, to the time we left. “The service was fantastic. We were debating between two different wines so they gave us a sample of each to make the choice easier. The mussels were amazing as well as the pork chop and black cod. It got quite noisy but it was a Saturday night and to be expected. We had the sticky pudding for dessert which I highly recommend. It was a lovely dinner and so special having dishes that I would never prepare at home. A delightful evening!!“

“My husband and I tried Bora Restaurant for the first time last night. It was excellent!! The food was delicious, the decorations were beautiful, the atmosphere was warm and cozy, all of the staff that we encountered were young but surprisingly all so very well mannered, polite and very nice!! Our waiter was Alton, he did a wonderful job and always addressed my husband as Sir. We would definitely recommend this restaurant!!“

“To start with, I love the thick menu! I love that they give the back stories on the local products/farms they use. And the plethora of options make certain that both my husband and I can find something we like no matter what we're in the mood for. It's also nice to go to a restaurant that has more than the same 6 things everybody else has and to know those items are made with locally sourced products. I can end with a cupcake made from scratch which also supports another small business instead of something premade from the same manufacturer everyone sources their desserts from. It's a win for me!“

“We ended up at this place on my birthday August 18th because we were trying to get to someplace else but because of the terrible flooding event we saw that this place was open while we were so glad to find it. The food was amazing and the staff was so attentive. We had wings which were amazing, a pretzel that was delicious burgers and steak with chimichurri sauce, all of which were phenomenal. We can't wait to go back and try other items. We will definitely be back. Thank you for being open on such a terrible, tragic day. I hope all of the staff made it home safely.

“Great place to stop in to when you’re craving a a simple deli-style sandwich. Nothing too fancy but hit the spot I needed it to. Got the Italian combo on white bread, added pickles and dressing on the side, and ate the whole sandwich. They have a nice sized menu, a couple sides in the to-go cooler, a good variety in the beverage cooler and the staff were attentive and kind. Outdoor seating is always a plus. Will definitely be a return customer if I’m in the area.“

“I’ve been to a lot of New Milford’s restaurants but I have to say the service at The Abbey was exceptional and the food was excellent and reasonably priced. Given how many eateries don’t survive over time; they are the model for a sustaining and thriving food service business. My wife had the Chicken Cordon Bleu, and I had the Chicken Caesar salad. Both were excellent and the portion size and portion per price was very good. Even the water tasted excellent. If I had one complaint it would be that the noise level was a little high, but it is a pub style restaurant where you can watch a game.“

“The sign on the door says please wear a mask regardless of vaccination status but when I walked in the chump behind the counter making sandwiches has his mask over his chin not covering his nose and half his mouth. What kind of crap is that?“
