“1st visit. Ordered take out & grabbed a coffee during the brief wait. Service was efficient & friendly. Establishment was clean & welcoming. I deeply appreciate that they offer tofu. We ordered the “Vito” swapping chicken out for tofu & the “Cypress Garden” sandwiches… both were delicious. The prices were reasonable for the high quality of the ingredients. One was $10 the other $12 & this price even included choice of side: pasta salad, apple or chips. We chose the lemon basil pasta salad & it was just as delicious as the sandwich’s. “Walked into the shop and immediately there was the warmest smell of fresh cinnamon rolls in the oven - had to get some along with our coffee and so glad we did. Such a smooth iced americano and SUCH good cinnamon buns. The owner was so sweet! Glad we found this place to along around town“

“During lunch break from having to serve jury duty I found this coffee shop down the street and decided to pop in. The two behind the counter were very friendly and inviting, and the special grilled cheese with tomato or bacon with soup was PERFECT . the chicken corn chowder came out piping hot and didn't even need any salt or pepper. I'm usually skeptical when someone has to make my coffee instead of me doing it, but unlike dunkin donuts the gentleman made it just right! they seem to have a familiar and friendly customer fan base, and I would definitely go back again.“

“As soon as you arrive you are greeted with a glass of prosecco then you take in the exquisite architecture. The staff then escort you to your table and you're given a menu which is simple but you know right then and there the food is going to be outstanding and it was the service was excellent each dish that they brought out was delicious. The sauces had such great flavor. I would recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a culinary experience.“

Crunchy on the outside with plenty of almonds and a dusting of powdered sugar and flaky on the inside with the most amazing and plentiful almond filling. “Came to do trivia visiting from San Diego, CA. I gotta say what a good time! They have great food, greater drinks and impeccable service. Our server was Michelle and she was fantastic! We ordered the fish and chips and the turkey sub with fries. Both were delightful! We came in last place for trivia and got a consolation prize! ? Great times, good food, good people. Highly recommend for a casual night out for food and drinks!“

“Every time I visit New Haven, G Café is one of my favorite stops. It has that cozy, small-town café charm that instantly makes you feel at home.
This time, I went in hoping to get some work done, and it didn’t disappoint. There were others working too, which created a nice focused vibe. The free Wi-Fi and sunny window view made it an ideal spot to spend the afternoon.
I ordered the ham and cheese quiche—absolutely perfect—and paired it with an iced latte (requested with less ice, and to my surprise, they actually followed through!). For just $14, I got great food, great coffee, and a peaceful three-hour work session. Definitely a spot I want to come back to.“

“We had oysters on half shells for antipasto and a lobster fettuccine and a branzino (which came with sauteed spinach and purple potatoes) for main courses, then finished with a berries cheesecake.\n\nNow the oysters were so good that we ordered another four. Then my husband had a bite of the fettuccine and told me, it's so good he felt like flying with wings. Which made me wonder what he meant, so I had a bite. The parsley worked magically with the lobster, and the fettuccine was done perfectly. And the lobster was succulent and sweet.\n\nNow back to my branzino. I actually never liked branzino the fish, mainly for its boring texture and taste. I ordered it just because I felt adventurous today, really. But this one surprised me. The crushed pistachios somehow worked wonders with the branzino, hah! And the sauteed spinach, as well as the grilled purple potatoes, were mind blowing. I will go back, if not for the lobster fettuccine, only for the spinach and the purple potatoes.\n\nOh, and we had a side of sauteed broccoli rabe which was no less miraculous than the spinach and purple potatoes. We agreed that this is a restaurant we'll visit again soon.\n\nThe dessert was a neat finish to the fulfilling meal. This was a happy, rainy evening.\n\nOh and we loved Francesco. We had servers who would constantly make remarks or gestures that left guests feeling bothered and uneasy, but Francesco was just right. He's so cordial and effective, always there when we thought to look up but never intrusive or inhospitable for the sake of being hospitable. I guess he's also part of the reason we felt so comfortable dining there.“

“I like Dante's Inferno and the Columbian dark roast. The cafe boasts lovely natural lighting and essentially, the cafe is a large solarium. The cafe plays classic soul music most of the time. It's good for a quick bite. The KBT dining staff are always lovely and they roast their own beans.“

That was one big Quesadilla! I shared it with someone, because it was too much for me. Oh by the way, the garlic parm wings, & mild wings were delicious too! Don't sleep on Zee's food. The lovely Queen who serve me had the most wonderful bedside manner I seen in a while, truly just a beautiful soul. She has the best curry goat I ever had in my life!!! 😋Jerk chicken on point jerk, jerk sauce delicious and the curry chicken patty was amazing 🤤 the best part about it is I got a nice big spoon full of cabbage and didn't have to ask for it less rice 😭 lol Got My daughter the brown stew chicken and she said it was delicious!!!! The lobby’s cool furniture and big communal tables make it feel stylish but relaxed, and the space itself is great, high ceilings, tons of natural light, and plenty of room to spread out. The coffee is consistent. The staff is genuinely kind, especially to pets; my dog is always welcomed with smiles and a treat. Between the pet-friendly vibe (hotel included), friendly service, and comfortable setup, it’s the perfect place to post up with a latte and stay awhile. Highly recommend.“

“Cozy atmosphere, really extensive wine list and comprehensive tasting notes. I love to do a wine flight (3 2 oz. glasses) and do a blind tasting with a partner, then try to match them to the wine based off of the tasting notes. We also tried the chocolate lava cake, which was decent and a good pairing with the drinks. Service was attentive and excellent. A wonderful experience overall, and an underrated gem in the neighborhood.“
