“You want to talk about a hidden seafood GEM with a VIEW? Just come here. It gives off shoreline picnic table vibes overlooking the ct river just feet away. You can watch the boats go by and the oldest ferry in the United States! The food is slightly pricey but I promise you will get what you pay for in portions. Best lobster roll I have had in YEARS. Hot food was hot and cold food was cold. Everything was made to order. Service was quick and friendly. Does it get better than that?!“

“One of my all time favorite spots . Hands down beats all the local competition for seafood . Drinks are amazing ?? Two favorite’s are coconut shrimp app ? and seafood boil combo Reels catch seasoned garlic butter the flavor is great and seafood is fresh not too mention the atmosphere of the Resturant , the waitstaff are very pleasant and seems to enjoy the work they do & knowledgeable on the seafood . It’s def an experience , so if ur ever in the area I suggest u stop by u won’t be disappointed .“

“Went for my husband's 50th Birthday celebration. Food was excellent, staff was so great and helpful, even did valet parking which was so easy and very reasonably priced ($7.00 for dinner service). They took the time to decorate the table and wish him a happy birthday...it was a wonderful experience. Would definitely recommend going for any special occasions!!“

“I went to Southern Dishes, Seafood, & Desserts in Meriden today. When I say they truly have southern soul food, it’s an understatement. The food was definitely well seasoned, chicken falls off the bone, cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious!“

“The sushi here is fantastic, though it was a bit of a learning curve for our daughter! She wasn't a fan of the sushi texture but loved the hibachi. It’s a great place to introduce kids to new foods with their bento box options. Highly recommend the food, but the seating is a little uncomfortable, so takeout is the way to go.“

“My son loves this place. Usually he's a big Mac kid but I was lazy and placed a order for the double cheese burger it was delivered fresh and hot. The burger was huge he was like this burger is big. Needless to say he don't ask for Big Macs no more he asks for the big burger. I went in person and placed a order the workers were kind and food did not disappoint. This is our new burger place.“

“Hey, it's your girl Honest Review. So I stopped by this restaurant downtown Hartford, because I was on my way to have dinner with my neighbors. So there's an event during the summer called the Long Table, you should check it out next year. I needed something quick to pick up, and th8s restaurant came through. Because this was takeout, I didn't get to sit and enjoy the atmosphere. But I definitely will visit again. Customer service was very good. The price was decent, definitely huge portions. “I’m not sure why the recent reviews I’m reading through now are on the negative side! My husband and I accidentally stumbled upon this restaurant (we happened to be in the area), and immediately were met with excellent hospitality. I am gluten free and vegetarian, so finding a place with kind servers and food I can eat is becoming increasingly difficult. They serve complimentary bread up front (which most restaurants don’t even bother with anymore) and have an option for gluten free bread(if you ask for it) at a slight up-charge. I ordered the Korean rice bowl and my husband ordered the Rigatoni Bolognese..the food came out super fast and was delicious. I have a very low spice tolerance, so I thought my bowl was on the slightly spicier side..but it’s Korean style food so that’s to be expected. We ordered a peanut butter bar for dessert, also gluten free. I didn’t get a picture unfortunately, but it’s was super rich but not too sweet. Definitely worth the trip!! People need to start writing more positive reviews for places because this restaurant definitely deserves more positivity.“
