When I picked up the cake I was amazed at the variety of fresh pastries and breads . Needless to state but I left with a lot more than a birthday cake . Everything was delicious! Speaking of the savory Boreks, they're seasoned to perfection, and you can accompany them with sauces and dressings prepared by the owner. The sweet ones, wow! Delicious! We tried the pumpkin one, the Dubai one, and the chocolate one; you can taste the high-quality ingredients in every bite. You can eat there—it's spacious, clean and has pleasant music—or you can take it to go. The owner guides you on how to heat them so you can enjoy them to the fullest. Definitely HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!“

“We ordered cupcakes last minute. They were able to accommodate us and they looked amazing and tasted amazing. We had a variety of flavors, vanilla, chocolate, funfetti, cookies and cream, lemon, and banana. Every flavor was amazing. Our guests were obsessed. “This little bakery is warm and cozy with a small table area with places to eat. Woman at the counter was nice and answered all my questions. Today was my first time there and definitely won't be my last time. I got a sourdough parm bagel that was amazing. I considered turning around and getting another. The sourdough English muffins were great too. I also got a cinnamon roll which I haven't eaten yet, but I'm sure its delightful too.“

“I would like to share my recent experience at Saray Bakery. A couple of days ago I placed my order over the phone and went to pick up on Thursday. There was a mistake with my order and it wasn’t ready. The employees seemed very apoplectic and told me to please give them 15 minutes and they will fix it. Even tho I was really in a rush i decided to wait. The ladies at the counter were so hospitable that you couldn’t be mad at them. The offered me a free coffee and 2 cookies. One lady came over to apologize again and explained the situation while the other lady worked on my order. They make my order quickly and put in another free pastry to go. That was so nice! At the end it’s not the mistake that matters it’s how they handled it and how they made me feel! Thank you lovely ladies at Saray Bakery I will be back :)“

“So I went over a friends house for dinner and he had a Lupi's Bread on the table, Looked great. Tasted better. He told me about this little bakery in New Haven at 169 Washington Ave Lupi's Marchigiano Bakery. I went the next day for another Bread where I met Larry Lupi a true gentleman. His grandfather started the Bakery in 1900 when he came over from Italy, and now is being run by Larry and his brother Peter. So If you want to taste a little piece of heaven, stop by Lupi's and for a few bucks you can.

“Costco: how do I love thee? Let me count the ways (just for the bakery). At Thanksgiving they have great pumpkin pies for a truly miniscule price you get a humongous pit! They have bluberry muffins (and other kinds too but we get bluberry only) that are double the size of anyone else anywhere and they are loaded with blueberries and they are like half the price of anywhere else. They have great baguette bread. They now make what they call frenchcountry loaf which to us more closely resembles Italian style crusty bread which we love. For birthdays and special occasions they custom make cakes. They have all types of pastries and cheese cakes and you will love it!“

“I got a cake from here 2 years and it was exactly what I wanted (the heart cake). My husband loved the taste and kept mentioning it when it got closer to his birthday this year so I, of course, had to get another one. It was AMAZING! Everyone loved it and a few said it was the best cake they’d ever had. Yellow cake with cheesecake filling and buttercream- highly recommend. “I bought Ruffles Potato Chips at BJ’s Wholesale Club in Waterbury, CT Tonight 1/1/2023 @ around 5:30pm and both bags were Cross Contained probably from the factory with something VERY SPICY‼️ Felt like first time I tried Chinese Mustard and at first a little zest so I opened the 2nd bag noticed first few chips then the chip I ate ran to kitchen to spit it out it was SO HOT ?? ? and I still can’t even rinse it off with Hot Water so from me to you AVOID THESE CHIPS until Frito-Lay tells us what happened. “They make the best taralli! And they make many different varieties of taralli. My favorite are the ones with fennel. But they also have red pepper, pepper. There are so many varieties I can't remember them all. Some have a sugar frosting. I eat them like that but they go great with a beer or a glass of wine.“

“I discovered this store when I was High School, around 1977. Graduated 1978 from Wibur Cross. They were on Edgewood Avenue and Platt Street. Then they moved to Whalley Avenue. I still tell people about this store. Always love it. 🥰“

“We visited Middlebury's greatest ice cream while we made a stop in Middlebury, Connecticut. Despite being a small store, they are able to produce a wide variety of flavors. We were served by a really nice young girl.
The ice cream tastes great. Worth the stop, it is situated in a little strip center.“

“I love G Cafe. Their cronuts (croissant donuts) are the best thing that I have ever eaten in my life. Get them warmed to make them extra delicious. And the coffee is so amazing as well! I love the milk and sugar bar that lets you fix it just how you like it. The service is always excellent. I have two little gripes: this place is expensive! Definitely not an every-day kind of coffee shop, at least for me. And secondly, the seating could definitely be better (actual tables and chairs), and there is no wi-fi. The latter is not really an issue for me, because I always get my cronuts and coffee to-go. Or perhaps, these aspects are why I get them to-go... Overall, you should definitely go to G Cafe and try their world-famous cronuts. Other items I like to indulge in are the cinnamon rolls (so unbelievably good), ham and cheese croissants, or either of the quiches.“
