“Great little niche bakery. I tried 4 different things and they were all excellent! The coffee/milk drink was only average due to not steaming the milk long enough.
So 5 stars for this place as it is a bakery/cafe primarily. Can't wait to come back!“

“We’ve been going here for about 4 years and are never disappointed. My husband and I love their Spanish options (best huevos rancheros I’ve been able to find outside of New York), but they also have eggs, pancakes, and other “classic” items. And this is just their breakfast menu! Their lunch items are just as delicious. The staff is incredibly friendly, service is fast even on a busy day, we LOVE all of the sauces on every table, it’s always clean, and they add new dishes pretty often to keep their menu fresh. Can’t say enough good things about them!“

“We went for brunch. Skip the waffle because everything else is so much more exciting! The quiche was amazing and the corned beef hash is *home made* with real fresh sliced corned beef. Poached eggs were delicate and perfect. We were left wanting nothing more! We're already planning our next trip for the main menu.

Parking: Not a lot of spots but there is a lot technically for the post office right next door.“

“I recently went to the Crown Cafe for breakfast sandwiches. I called in the order on the phone and everything was ready when I got there. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the buns were fresh. The prices were very reasonable as well. Hope to go back soon.“

“Love the relaxing atmosphere! We were able to enjoy a couple of Trivia Nights which were incredibly fun. The neighbors complaints put a stop to those 🤬🙄 The coffee is amazing! I cannot recommend their food because of the teeny tiny portions. I had a pricy salad that equaled to about two cups of greens & at most a 1/3 of a portobello mushroom cap. I went home & ate since I was starving! Note: I had the salad sans goat cheese. An increased amount of the other two ingredients would have been appreciated!“

“Cafe 4 is a little hidden gem in Shelton! It’s tucked away in Tower 4 of the Corporate Enterprise Towers, and maybe it’s out of their control, but I think some signage down on the main road and right outside of the tower would really help to boost business. If you work in the towers, you should consider yourself lucky to have such a nice place for breakfast and lunch - I’m certainly jealous! The chicken cutlet on the club sandwich was so flavorful, and we were lucky to catch the chef’s award-winning chili verde that day, and it was DELICIOUS. It’s no surprise it was featured in Brian Baumgartner’s (Kevin from The Office) chili cookbook and has repeatedly won awards at The Meadowlands! The clam chowder and fish taco special were tasty too, and we loved the homemade vinaigrette and candied walnuts on the grilled chicken salad. If we had one critique, we thought that the burger was a bit well-done for our liking. The shortbread cookies we had for a treat were sooo good - served chilled and with a chocolate filling, my mom said they reminded her of Magic Middle’s from when she was a kid. Unfortunately I probably won’t be able to stop here too much because I’m not often off from work during the week, and they’re only open during the week, but I’ll try to make another visit when I can!“

“Had a great night at the seagrape. They played a lot of Taylor swift but I mean there was probably 80-100 girls there so the DJ was just reading the room. Cheap drinks, good music, lots of women, and it was fun playing pool before they shut it down for dancing and the crowd. Great night overall until some dude with a terrible haircut got jealous that girls looked at him and laughed and were having fun with us. Tried to fight us in the parking lot. Someone punched him in the hair and the night ended. Good times.....good times“

Today I tried the Fruity Pebble French Toast with a side of fried chicken wings, and both the taste and presentation were spectacular. Every bite felt like it was made with genuine love and care, and the menu is full of unique dishes that really set this place apart.

If I had any suggestions, it would only be to see them in a larger space someday—with more seating for bigger groups and maybe even a cozy stage in the corner for karaoke or local performances. They deserve all the room to shine because they’re truly doing something special here.“

“During my visit from out of state, I unfortunately became ill with a fever. I was craving some healthy, nourishing vegan food, and that is not easy to come by. A family member found Focaccia’s and picked up takeout. I ordered the Vegan Buddha Bowl, and it was just what I needed. The bowl featured a colorful mix of quinoa, avocado, roasted sweet potatoes, edamame, chickpeas, baby kale, and baby spinach, all drizzled with tahini dressing. The quality of the ingredients was outstanding, the portion size was enough for 2-3 servings, and it truly helped me feel better. I highly recommend Focaccia’s for anyone seeking high-quality, comforting, fresh food.
