“With the weather beginning to get colder - what better time to start exploring to find great Pho restaurants in the DMV.

My friend and I decided to try Pho House because of its very central location, and also because of its great reviews.

Overall, the food was delicious and the we were able to add extra meats and make substitutions to our orders which was great.

The broth that I had with my Pho was very well made. The flavours were substantive, as were the meats that were in the dish.“

“Food was ok. Not authentic Vietnamese food. I brought my Vietnamese friends and we were disappointed. The Bún bò Huế tasted more like Tom Yum soup. The Cơm tấm (rice plate) was ok but the fish sauce was flavorless. If you want true authentic Viet food, I recommend going to Eden Garden Center. It is a drive but worth it“

“After a long day, we were just looking for something quick and comforting—and wow, did we hit the jackpot with 54 Restaurant! We were craving some soup, and since they were open until 9 PM, we called at 8:36 to place a takeout order. By 8:50, we were already picking up our food, and everything was ready right on time.

We ate in our hotel lobby, and oh my goodness… I did not expect the Pho to be that good. It was insanely delicious! The broth was rich and flavorful, there was a generous amount of tender meat, and the portion was huge.

We also ordered a Banh Mi, and it was just as amazing—perfectly seasoned and super satisfying.

We grabbed two drinks as well; they were very sweet, maybe a bit too much for my taste, but still tasty.

This spot has definitely earned a place on my list of favorite go-to restaurants. Can’t wait to come back!“

“We were in DC over the weekend visiting family and had an incredible experience at PhoNatics Noodle Bar! We ate inside the restaurant (although there TONS of to-go orders picked up while we were there. The service was outstanding, and the food was even better. Our group couldn’t stop raving about the Banh Mi Beef and Banh Mi Grilled Pork sandwiches. The caramelized meat paired perfectly with the fresh veggies and sauce— absolute perfection!

For appetizers, we went with the Beef Summer Rolls after seeing them recommended in so many reviews, and they did not disappoint. Fresh, light, and packed with flavor!

Another standout was the Grilled Lemongrass Chicken Vermicelli. It was like a noodle salad packed with fresh veggies and savory, perfectly grilled chicken. The Pho was also solid, but the the items above were the real stars of the show.

Everyone in our group gave this place a 10/10! Highly recommend if you're craving Vietnamese cuisine. Can't wait to come back!“

“I got the chicken pho and made it extra spicy. It was so good and full of flavor! Such generous portion! Service is a bit slow only because there is 1 waitress and she is also checking people out and handling delivery services. But she was absolutely sweet! 10/10 will definitely go back.“

“Delicious authentic Vietnamese food! I've been here three times now, and each time I loved what I ordered. The first time I had the rice plate with grilled lemongrass chicken (com ga nuong), the second time I had the pho tai chin (eye round steak and well done brisket), and the third time I had the vermicelli bowl with grilled lemongrass chicken (bun ga nuong). The lemongrass chicken here is so good. The food reminds me of the rice plates, vermicelli bowls, and pho that I had when I visited Saigon last year. “We’ve ordered pho to go before and tonight we dined in and ordered rice platter and vermicelli. I’m pleased to say this is one of the very solid Asian restaurants I’ve ever been to. And definitely one of the top in DC. I highly recommend and this will be one of our regular restaurants to go to since we live close by.“

“A cozy spot near the street corner with a pleasant atmosphere. The interior is clean and well-kept, and the staff are warm and welcoming. “I have yet to find a vegan cheesesteak that matches up to the ones in Philadelphia (Basic 4 why did you have to leave!), but this was pretty tasty. I wasn't a huge fan of the roll, but the cheesesteak itself was good, and with precisely the right amount of onions and peppers. The vegan potato salad was great too. It's actually a ghost kitchen though - there are three other vegan restaurants from this window (Yang's Chinese, Pizza Loko, and Kimchi's Pho/Bibimbap) and you're probably best off getting delivery. There are other restaurants in the building as well ("food incubator") but those are the vegan ones run by the same owner.“

A very decent pho shop with large bowls of pho. Location is kind of sketchy, and I’m not a fan of the atmosphere inside - too small and too dark. However, the quality of food makes up for it. Will probably come back again if I’m feeling pho!“
