The prices are reasonable the atmosphere is relaxed and casual. This place is worth driving out of your way for. You will NOT be disappointed!!!”

The restaurant consistently maintains a pristine, fresh, and elegantly appointed atmosphere. Akhil and the manager went above and beyond to make our anniversary unforgettable. They surprised us with a scrumptious slice of mango cheesecake, adorned with a candle, and handed me a lighter to ignite it and mark the occasion! How thoughtful is that? My wife needs gluten free food and this is one of the few places that is committed to keeping the few prep clean so there is no cross contamination. Bri and Kristen answered her questions and addressed her concerns and the manager came out to reinforce Ford’s commitment as well as deliver the food. “Nice place. Our waitress was very attentive, kept our ice tea full and remembered to keep plenty of Splena on the table. I ordered the Seafood Cobb Salad. I am a Cobb Salad fan and order one where ever I go. This one was huge and I mean a 12” plate piled on. All of the individual components were plentiful 5 grilled shrimp on top, tons of cherry tomatoes, a half a pig of bacon, bleu cheese, onions, and the rest were stacked high. Only thing that would have made it better would be chopped greens. I had to get a “kitty bag” for later. Desert was their Banana Bread Pudding with toasted bananas. Again huge could have shared it with 3. Wife ordered Crème Brûlée which she wouldn’t share. Only bump was wife’s entre, Dolphin fish came out topped with tomatoes which she is deathly allergic (not mentioned on the menu) but not to worry, they made her another lickety split. Two entrées, appetizer, ice tea, desert and nice tip came to just under $100 about average for a decent Cape Coral restaurant. Big smiles on this one.????”

Really, you cried at the table?? The owners are hard working people. There are erasers on pencils for a reason. Or maybe you don't know what an eraser is. I would have thrown your a** out wah wah wah!! And the other idiot with the chicken wings, you don't come to an Italian restaurant and ask for chicken wings. Go to Kentucky Fried chicken you arsh hole! Anyway I loved the gnocchi with cream sauce, which is what I had. I needed to sample the gravy, (yes we Italians can it gravy), so I had a meatball too! We started out with the ciabatta bread that was served with a delicious pumpkin butter! To die for! We both had filet mignon and it was cooked perfectly medium. We cut through it like butter and it melted in our mouths. I got a baked potato that was cooked perfectly, and he ordered loaded garlic mashed potatoes that had cheese and bacon. Awesome! The asparagus was so crisp and yummy! For dessert we shared the caramel apple crumble with vanilla bean ice cream. So good! I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant. This was one of the best meals we have ever had.”

We started out with the ciabatta bread that was served with a delicious pumpkin butter! To die for! We both had filet mignon and it was cooked perfectly medium. We cut through it like butter and it melted in our mouths. I got a baked potato that was cooked perfectly, and he ordered loaded garlic mashed potatoes that had cheese and bacon. Awesome! The asparagus was so crisp and yummy! For dessert we shared the caramel apple crumble with vanilla bean ice cream. So good! I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant. This was one of the best meals we have ever had.”

Does she not realize how horribly annoying she is to everyone she serves and works for at every single bar, and yet she continues to repeatedly resurrect the same drama, over and over, like a broken record at every single bar she works at, which she has been doing since the Covid pandemic. And Kitty was fired from at least a dozen other bars for rambling over and over like a broken record over other peoples' mistakes. People are tired of hearing about the same mistakes of other people over and over again. Kitty's repeating broken record drama has ruined numerous potential celebrations of Joe Biden's victory and Donald Trump's defeat in the November 2020 election. Donald Trump was the very worst president in American history, many of us were about to celebrate Trump's defeat and multiple impeachments, and Kitty ruined our celebrations with her drama and rambling over and over like a broken record. And to make matters worse, she has a destructive sidekick, Joanna Teresa Unbehaun, adding to the drama. Joanna is in fact reported to have framed a number of students at a high school near Chicago for involvement in the 2001 attacks at the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, as well as for a series of bomb threats that occurred in the Chicago metropolitan area during the fourth quarter of that year. Reportedly, Kitty Maldonado was actually supposed to have moved to Atlanta, Georgia or Los Angeles, California back in the fall of 2018. And truthfully, I think Kitty would do well in Los Angeles as I hear a close friend of hers, Deziree, that used to bartend in the South Cape, lives in Los Angeles and is last known bartending somewhere on Wilshire Blvd near Beverly Hills.”

Our server was Erica, and her name tag said she was originally from Port Huron, MI which immediately set the positive mood since three of our party of four had Michigan ties. One of our party just casually mentioned we were celebrating when asked what brought us to Rumrunners. \n\nErica did an awesome job of explaining the special catch of the day as well as describing other dishes which she had sampled during her three months of working at Rumrunners. All were as she described and all were delicious. Some of us ordered dessert and then were pleasantly surprised when Erica also brought a wonderful piece of chocolate cake (complimentary of course) to celebrate our special occasions which she had remembered hearing about. All in all she made it a wonderful evening. \n\nThen as we headed out, my husband wanted to look at the Rumrunners logo shirts and we were re-greeted by Diva at the gift shop. What a fun spirit with her British accent, her perseverance in finding just the right shirt, and sealing the deal with a free coozie AND a couple hilarious jokes 😄. We smiled all the way to our car and these two employees made our evening very special. Thank you both.”

My husband got the Churrasco medium well and it was also delicious. The black beans and white rice were very good. I got tostones and avocado for my sides. The tostones could have been a little plumper, but they were fine. The avocado was a generous portion and it was perfectly ripe. Delicious.

“Mel’s Diner Cape Corral 3-4-25 Stopped by Mel’s on Monday around 12:30pm. This place was clean, neat, and busy. We got seated right away and Dee Dee was our waitress. I ordered the Western Black Angus Chopped Steak with Mashed Potatoes and Corn. My wife and our friend ordered the Mel’s Classic Cheeseburger with Cheese, Lettice, Tomato, Onions, Coleslaw, and Fries. Once our order came out my Chopped Steak was amazing. The Chopped Steak had Onions piled high on the top and lots of Gravy, it was so good. My wife and our friends Burger were done perfectly, and the Fries were just yummy and even the Coleslaw was good. All our food was hot and plenty of it as we had to get a to go box to take some home. Once done we ordered two Milkshakes, one Chocolate and one Strawberry. They were very good if you like old fashion Milkshakes get yourself one for sure. “OMG OMG! The Picanha entree was beyond amazing! I ordered it medium well and the extra fat on the meat was salted and crisped to perfection making an explosion of delight as I chewed every bite!!
My husband got the Churrasco medium well and it was also delicious. The black beans and white rice were very good. I got tostones and avocado for my sides. The tostones could have been a little plumper, but they were fine. The avocado was a generous portion and it was perfectly ripe. Delicious.
We will definitely be back. Don’t let the lack of ambiance deter you from eating here. We almost didn’t stay, but we gave it a shot and we are glad we did!”

“My little girl is the pickiest eater ever! She will only eat THIS papa John’s and it is always the greatest of great from here. From customer service, to speed, to quality of food, and cleanliness of the restaurant itself. Management there is superb! We are always greeted not as a customer but apart of the family! Prices are very reasonable! This is the best papa John’s in SWFL”
