“It was my first time there and I was very impressed! Sat in the bar area where we were served by Kyle. He was amazing! Knew the menu, had great suggestions and made delicious drinks. I had wine but my son and his girlfriend had "specialty" drinks and I had to taste...YUMMY! You would have thought we were the only ones in the place, we were not, because Kyle was attentive and kept checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Bang Bang shrimp was seasoned perfectly. I highly recommend visiting Kyle and the JCFH. Oh and it doesn't hurt that the restaurant is so pretty. :)“

“This place is very unassuming from the outside. It is a busy but semi run down shopping center with a few other restaurants and an Indian grocer. The inside is really unique. Very warm and inviting but also exotic. I had a great lunch. I had a small greek salad and a bowl of lentil soup with a Saganaki appetizer. Sorry I did not photograph the Saganaki show. It was a beautiful table side flambé. The soup was delicious, the salad was fresh and refreshing, saganaki was sweet and salty in the best way. I will be back.“

“We had another lovely lunch at Irie Diner in Orange Park yesterday. It is the best Caribbean food we have eaten in the Jacksonville area. The atmosphere is laid-back and relaxing, just like the islands. I had jerk chicken, rice and beans and callaloo. It was delicious! My mouth is watering just thinking about it. My husband had jerk pork tenderloin, cabbage, and rice, all of which he thoroughly enjoyed. We also shared a side of fried sweet plantains, my favorite. Our server, whose name from the receipt was Soul G. was excellent...sweet and attentive, but not over-bearing. I cannot say enough about this restaurant and always wonder why there is not a line out the door. If you haven't eaten there, YOU NEED TO TRY IT! Their menu has good variety. “Great place to grab some seafood after lunchtime and except on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The prices are a little high but the food is absolutely amazing. I would recommend going for lunch on Tuesday Tuesday and Thursday to get their 30 piece. Shrimp deal is absolutely worth it. Can’t say enough about the food and the service. And no matter what you have to get a side of the bang bang sauce. By far probably one of the best I have had.“

“Went right before they were closing, and the customer service was still amazing. Our waitress Delilah was so accommodating and pleasant! Food was top-notch! We had grill wings and a snapper sandwich with fries. The wing sauces and remoulade were awesome. I REALLY enjoyed the grilled smoky flavor of the wings. The manager/owner blessed us with an ice cream sundae and was super friendly. We definitely will be coming here a lot. As a cook I was pleasantly surprised how tasty everything was! Added bonus the restroom was clean, too. I would give 10 stars if I could!“
