“JL’s has been a staple to my Navy family since the early seventies. We moved from Guantánamo Bay Cuba to Jacksonville.. Dad 95 years old and I had another great dinner! Liz, took care of us tonight, she went over and beyond the call of duty! I told her I wanted to get a new t-shirt when we finished dinner. We place our order and next thing I know she brings out several T-shirts for me to choose from! That’s, that extra little touch that goes a long way!“

“Our Angel Moms group had our Mother’s Day brunch today! Today also happened to be International Bereaved Mother’s Day! We had an amazing time. The staff at seasons 52 town center Jacksonville Florida was amazing and accepted the situation as if he was there! From the bar tender Michael who served him a drink to the receptionist who Renee who made us fell very welcome and treated our friend with respect and dignity to our waiter Blake who also went the extra mile to make our experience exceptional! We would like to recognize these people for helping us make our friends night out so very special we will be back every year because of them and the service, not to mention the food was amazing! “We moved from Maryland to Florida almost 2 years ago. We have been disappointed not finding anyplace with steamed blue crabs. That is until we found The Blue Crab Crab house and it actually said "A Maryland style crab House" We found your place Saturday and were pleasantly surprised. The steamed crabs were priced just right and tasted every bit as good { even though you did not use Old Bay, JO was just as good} and full as any crab I got in Maryland. Thank you to the owner from Baltimore, the cook, and our waitress who was very attentive. We will be back.“

“I can’t say it enough, the crew at this location are amazing! My family recently celebrated our grandmothers 91st birthday here. Mrs Sheena was amazing! The patience of the staff is something you don’t see often these days. After we drove them all mad (lol!), some of our party stayed behind and sat at the bar. A gentleman(not sure if the owner or not) treated us to a few drinks, which was completely unexpected and appreciated! We will def be back! Thank you again for your generosity and hospitality!“

“Just had our favorite pick 2 lunch. Everything was the best! Service included! I grew up in Miami and key west key lime pie has always been one of my favorites. St Mary's seafood mandarin has the best key lime pie I've had since I've been here. I've been here over 30 years. I cannot recommend this place enough. We always have a great lunch and a good time. 😊“

“This was my first time eating at J. Alexander and I was so pleased with everything about this place. The atmosphere was very pleasant. It was a group of 10 of us celebrating the birthday of one in the group. Our server Misty was awesome, she was so helpful and knowledgeable. She went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with everything we ordered. Now to the food, WOW!!! everyone enjoyed the steaks, crab cakes, salads, warm bread with butter, celantro shrimp and to top it off the warm carrot cake with cream cheese icing. Yum,Yum. “We are from Maryland but live in Atlanta metro area. We planned a trip to Orange park Florida for medical reasons for our son. We also visited a family member and they recommended Ocean city seafood for blue garlic crabs. We ordered 3 trays with sides of corn, potatoes and boiled eggs. The crabs and all of the food was so fresh and absolutely delicious. We returned the very next day to get 2 more trays . We also asked if we could order some garlic crabs for pickup the next morning to take back to Atlanta with us. We returned at 11 am next morning and the owners packed us up with those delicious crabs we headed back home. Did I mention how delicious and fresh all the food was ? The butter sauce was amazing too!! Whenever we travel back to Florida we will definitely stop by and get some more of the crabs. Excellent food !! Excellent service!!“

“some people should really be ashamed of themselves i just witnessed a woman coming in the restaurant and claiming she is sick from the shrimp that she just ate and she want her money to be refunded. she claimed to feel so sick and nauseous that she maid have food poisoning and she will be going to the ER ... she was literally in the restaurant for 50 min and making a big deal out of everything... she got her money refunded and walks out to her car and puts a CIGAR in her mouth... lady if you are really that sick you wouldn't even feel like smoking... shame on you... I'm sorry for the girls in the restaurant working that had to deal with this person.. and thumbs up for staying calm... because just listening to that woman's BS made even me upset.“
