“Our party of six had a 6:30pm reservation on Sunday, July 14th to celebrate our son's birthday. We requested a Teppanyaki table. Eric, our chef, was great. The food was good; I was not crazy with the soup or rice but the proteins and vegetables were good. The salad had too much ginger dressing. Disappointed that the waitress never came back to refill our water glasses and the place was not busy: maybe two or three more tables had customers.“

“Authentic Japanese sushi and sashimi bar in the center of Miami.

The yellowtail and chu-toro sashimi were the freshest we have tasted so far in South Florida. We went early and we're the only ones so we had all the attention of the waitress and the chef. Our dishes were prepared right in front of us.

Portions seemed small yet we were full by the time we were done with desert. It was yet another perfect lunch.

Omakase is also available but only during the week at 6om and advanced reservation is required.“

The light low key table lamps that look like candles. Beautiful photography and chachkas on the walls. One of the main courses we ordered - polenta with crab meat. I could just do this polenta alone like a dessert cream brûlée. It's a place to return to. The ambiance, the service and the food makes us feel like we are eating at home. Our favorites are the tuna poke, the grilled octupus, the shokudo, the yuba, the samurai, the mango and the blue crab rolls are fantastic, so fresh. The torched salmon nigiri is a delicatesse.
