“Just had lunch here, party of four, three of us had the corned beef and cabbage dinner it was excellent, trimmed perfectly and fork tender, served with carrots, potatoes and toasted garlic bread, great flavor! we all agreed it was one of the best we've had in this area , they may not be an Irish restaurant but they got it right!! Our servers were friendly and accommodating. This restaurant seats approximately 30 guests and has a family feel while dinning. I have recommended this little gem of a restaurant to many others and have always gotten positive feedback.“

“Why Didn’t I Know About this Place Sooner?

Dunedin has a lot of great little restaurants. I don’t know how this one didn’t show up on my radar sooner. The outdoor seating is very nice. The staff were all great. The prices were good.

I started with the smoked fish. While I enjoyed it, the fish needed a little more flavor from the smoking process. I added some vinegar, salt and a bit of hot sauce. I had plenty to take home. For my main I had fish & chips. The fish was cod and there were four large pieces in a thin crust. It was moist and flaky and delicious—one of the best fish & chips I’ve ever had. The fries were crunchy and tasty. I had a side of cole slaw and, unlike in many places, it was tangy and delicious.

This is a great location food staff. Ian was our waiter. He is a little quirky, but just what we need when traveling with small children he was engaging and again just high spirits across the board love Clearwater so glad to see you guys are 100% after the hurricane last year. “Walked in and was greeted with a friendly smile by Malcom who helped us choose the best options. I so wanted to try the gizzards but they were sold out-they must be good! We had the garlic snow crab platter and had them spice it up a bit, so buttery and flaky. We also tried the garlic shrimp platter which had plenty of large shrimp and both had delicious butter soaked potatoes and corn on the cob too. Then we had the fried catfish with seasoned fries. This is a take out only location and all the better for it. When we picked up our order we got to meet "Little Pompey" who was rang us up and thanked us for our business. Any platter you choose Snow Crab, Blue Crab, Shrimp will be worth it just ask for a little heat if you like it!“

We went for dinner on a cooler night and sat on the first floor- the restaurant is open air to the front, but the weather is a non-issue, because of their heaters throughout. There was live music that was very enjoyable (and I'm usually not a live music gal, but this guy was crushing it!). We were one of the closest tables to the music and could still have regular conversation without feeling the atmosphere was too loud. We ordered the brussels sprouts as an appetizer- phenomenal. I ordered the blackened grouper sandwich as an entire, and my husband ordered a special halibut entree- both were out of this world- fresh, seasoned well, excellent! Our server was extremely friendly and tentative and the trainee she had with her you would've thought was already working there for years. All staff during our experience were friendly and accommodating.“

“We came for a much needed beach day and of course the famous Frenchys! We decided to sit at the bar to avoid the wait on a table and especially after JT gave us a warm welcome at the take out window. Lauren was the other bartender, she was super sweet and very attentive, I don't think she ever broke a smile. JT recommended the octopus and OMG it was hands down the best we ever had. We had some drink off the specials menu called a dirty banana, for that alone we will be back. Wish there was a live band playing while we were there but Lauren and JT made up for that. We had a great time, the food never disappoints and the customer service was out of this world. It was really busy, but don’t let that scare you away. You can still get great full service and add some fantastic memories with your family or friends at the bar.“
