“What’s not to like about this small, quaint restaurant? The service was lovely. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the host and promptly seated for our reservation on a Monday night. There were a couple of tables dining already, but plenty were still open at 6:30.

My two friends and I came in for the MIAMI Spice menu. We were pleasantly surprised to find that most of the menu was available for the selection of the appetizer and entrée. However, the desserts were limited to a choice from a selection of three. We also had to order all three courses upfront. We ordered the deviled eggs, the lobster linguine, and the crab cake as our starters and shared them. All of them were delicious in their own way. Truly, I would’ve been content with the lobster linguine as my main course. For my entrée, I ordered the lobster roll with French fries and broccolini. I adored the citrusy flavor of the lobster, as well as the little kick from the broccolini, and was delighted with the quality of the French fries—golden and crispy.

For dessert, the Key lime pie was my favorite of the bunch; however, that was a dissenting opinion. (Everyone else agreed that the bread pudding was the standout.)

I will say, I was a little confused about parking because it looked like there was a sign indicating parking toward the back, but I didn’t see anything. So, I opted for street parking, and there was plenty available at that time—although it looked a little sketchy. However, once I parked and entered the restaurant, I quickly forgot about that.“

“Old Days has been a consistently good spot, but I’ve noticed a slight decline in food quality over my last few visits. The first two times I went, everything was excellent easily a five-star experience. However, the last two visits felt a bit different, and I suspect they may have a new chef. The drinks are still phenomenal, which is a major plus, but the food has changed slightly.

For example, the beef short rib was still very good, but I preferred the previous version with the rich gravy rather than the jus it now comes with. The latte was solid, no complaints there. Overall, I’d rate it a strong four across the board. I’ll definitely be back, but I do hope they bring back some of the flavors that originally made this place stand out.“

“I’ve only used uber eats with Phuc Yea but the chicken and tofu pho are truly the best I’ve ever had in general and without a doubt the best I’ve ever had in South Florida. There was a recent change where they no longer deliver to my home via uber eats which was the biggest deviation ever***…. I truly cannot express how good this pho is… the broth alone will single-handedly revive you from the deepest depths of sadness or your worst hangover…. Side note - even though it was super far away from me (30-40 min) it arrived PIPING hot in the very best way… when writing this - 4.1 stars sickens me for how good this is….“

“How beautiful! I’ve lived in the Grove area since I was young, and never knew of this place. We had the Miami spice menu, and the food was delicious and served in sizeable portion. The service was truly out of this world, and the view from the top of the hotel was gorgeous.“

“If you come in ready that it’s more “hole-in-the-wall”, that it’s tapas portions, that you have to order upfront, etc., you’ll find that this place probably has the best Thai food in Miami. I usually have a hard time ordering because there are so many good choices.

My #1 highlight is the khao soy. Supremely and expertly balanced. Savory, sweet, tangy, chewy noodles with crunchy toppings, acid from the lime, ugh it’s just like the perfect bite. (I usually save half the crunchy noodles off to the side so I can top my bites with them as I get to the bottom of the bowl.)

The other dish worth an extra mention is the crispy mushroom appetizer. It has the crisp and lightness you want from tempura, with the juicy, meaty [mushroom] bite you want from kara-age. Add a bit of the sauce and you’ve got a pretty addicting dish. Other crowd favorites also include the crab fried rice, the pad thai, and the pork and crab dry noodles.“

Why is he a server? He needs some training to be up to par to the service expected at a place like Pastis. We asked him to pack up all the left over food after he offered, and come home to find out he only did half and threw the rest away.“

“We had lunch at Atchana’s, a Thai restaurant, very pleasant, exotic flavors. It is located in the heart of Coconut Grove, on the banks of Grand Ave. We were very well attended, pleasant atmosphere, kind people and good food. The dishes are very well served, with exotic and spicy flavors, but delicious. It has indoor and outdoor environments, we preferred to stay in the air-conditioned room, it was a very pleasant lunch. “This place is really cool. I’m local and just stumbled across it looking for a place open late for dinner. Their kitchen is open until midnight. The food is surprisingly good and fresh. Everything seems homemade and they have some of the best French fries I’ve ever had. I got the veggie burger with a lettuce wrap (vegan option). The vibe is also cool with a lot of character. A mix of locals and tourists alike. Service was okay despite Saturday night crowds.“
