“We're visiting Miami and wanted to try Cuban food..Esquina Cubana didn't disappoint. My husband ordered the special combo the croquettes , fried yuca and those empanadas soooo good. I ordered the fried snapper, the snapper was seasoned just right and the rice was yummy. Our server Cristian was great , very attentive. All I can saw is chef' s kiss...10/10.“

“There is a reason this establishment is a destination. If you are in Miami, this is a must to enjoy. From coffee to dessert, your palate deserves this experience.
Update 1/2026: I brought friends this time. They absolutely loved it. The crème brûlée is a must. Food was phenomenal and walked the complete location. The pastries look amazing and had coffee at the coffee bar. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Miami. Highly recommended.“

“Amazing experience with Gaston. My wife and I loved the live music that drew us to dine in. Gaston was so friendly and recommended the beef empanadas and ropa vieja, which were delicious. The restaurant is cute and not too loud compared to others nearby with a party vibe. La Canita is the perfect spot for a romantic night out and the hostesses are not pushy like others down Ocean Bld. Highly recommend!!“

“A beautiful place, it was loud because they have live music which was fantastic, so that explains. Great atmosphere overall, I enjoyed it very much. Food was tasty and fresh, loved the fusion of flavors! They can use a bit for help, we literally asked for ice 3 times but it was a busy night.“

“First tried this cafe in 2023 when I was on the hunt for an authentic Cuban sandwich. The food and coffee were so good that we had to return this time around and again it failed to disappoint. Great selection of food, fast and attentive service, I would highly recommend (have been 3 times this trip!!).“

“Their food is excellent - so delicious - but they totally skimp on meat on some of their plates. $30 for meat fajitas where you only have enough meat for one fajita is a major fail. Same with the vaca frita. Alot of vegetables but not enough meat. Left me hungry. Tostones are not crunchy. Don Lolos is officially off the lunch rotation. Shame bc their food is sooo good.“

“Incredible food. If you’re staying anywhere in mid beach, don’t miss a day here. Beans, maduros, empanadas, croquetas, and every entree we got over our time never missed. Even got a salad to get some greens, and it was large, inexpensive and delicious. Highly recommend.“
